“Parent Bill of Rights” Laws Sweep Nation
- By Alex Newman - The New American
Responding to out-of-control indoctrination and rampant sexualization of children in government schools, lawmakers across the nation are considering and even passing legislation enshrining a “Parent Bill of Rights” into state law. Georgia and Kansas both passed such laws just this month. And most states this year had bills introduced dealing with the subject.
But how much good these laws might do remains to be seen. Many advocates say these will give parents more control over what their children are exposed to. Forces anxious to promote homosexuality, transgenderism, promiscuity, and sexual revolution, however, are up in arms. Teachers’ unions are also fighting tooth and nail.
A 40,000-Foot View of Freedom
- By Joshua Arnold - Family Research Council
Monday afternoon, airline passengers whooped and hollered when flight crews informed them the federal mask mandate was finally over. Crews and passengers responded to the news by ripping off masks mid-flight. Most commercial airlines and Amtrak quickly followed suit to drop their masking policies, as did rideshare services Uber and Lyft. Airlines "were urging that the mandate be lifted sooner," said Dr. Andrew Bostom, clinical trial epidemiologist at Brown University.
Ron Paul: “New World Order” Undermines Liberty
- By The New American
Former Libertarian and Republican presidential candidate Dr. Ron Paul (R-Texas) shares with The New American the importance of following the Constitution when it comes to any potential U.S. involvement in Ukraine. Paul also addresses Biden’s remarks about the “New World Order,” his entry into politics in the 1970s and working together with Congressman Larry McDonald (D-Ga.), and also why an Article V constitutional convention (or convention of states) would not work to stop unconstitutional federal overreach.
Rescuing Jewish Refugees from Ukraine
- By Aliyah Return Center
GALILEE, Israel -- Among the four million people that have fled their homes in Ukraine following the Russian invasion, more than 10,000 Jewish refugees have found their way to Israel.
Since men ages 18–60 are not permitted to leave Ukraine, most refugees are mothers with young children. They arrive with little money and few possessions, no place to live, no car, no job, no friends, and do not speak Hebrew.
The Aliyah Return Center (ARC) has been welcoming these new Jewish immigrants to Israel since they began arriving in March 2022 following the Russian military invasion of Ukraine.
ARC is an Israel-based nonprofit organization dedicated to providing practical assistance to "olim" (immigrants), helping them to get settled and put down roots in their new homeland. "Aliyah" is the Hebrew word for "return," which refers to the immigration of Jews to their ancient homeland.
Airbnb's Open Door for Thugs and Drugs
- By Michelle Malkin
"The Angel of Death checks into an Airbnb."
"2 dead, 8 wounded in shooting at Pittsburgh Airbnb party."
"Arrest made in drug deal murder at Florida Airbnb, deputies looking for another suspect."
"Double homicide at Draper (Utah) Airbnb party began with fight over broken beer bottles."
Those bloody local news headlines in Pennsylvania, Florida and Utah last week once again expose the ongoing farce of Big Tech's "trust and safety" theater. Across America and around the world, violent thugs and rapists, hidden-camera creeps, human and drug traffickers, and wily scammers have hijacked Airbnb rental homes for criminal and nefarious purposes. Yet, it's peaceful, law-abiding and right-thinking families like mine who've been publicly smeared, persecuted, kicked off the online home rental platform and branded "extremist" security threats by vengeful gatekeepers at Airbnb.

- By GFA World
Mosquitoes more lethal than 'sharks, wolves, lions, crocodiles and snakes combined,' says report for World Malaria Day, April 25
TIME FOR MALARIA TO BUZZ OFF: Mosquito-borne malaria kills a child somewhere every 2 minutes. GFA World's (www.gfa.org) new report Malaria, It's Time to Buzz Off! (https://www.gfa.org/press/malaria/) – released for World Malaria Day, April 25 – spotlights the new vaccine that could help finally eradicate the disease worldwide. Mosquito-borne malaria is responsible for more than 400,000 deaths worldwide annually, roughly equivalent to wiping out the population of Miami every year, says the report Malaria, It's Time to Buzz Off! (https://www.gfa.org/press/malaria/)
Newman's Appeal of $17 Million Planned Parenthood RICO Judgment to be Livestreamed Today
- By Operation Rescue
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. -- The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals will hear the case of Troy Newman v. Planned Parenthood on Thursday, April 21, 2022.
Pro-life journalists and activists, including Troy Newman, who serves as President of Operation Rescue and was a founding board member of the Center for Medical Progress, were sued by Planned Parenthood for exposing its appalling baby parts trafficking scheme in 2015 through an undercover investigation – a tactic commonly used by journalists.
However, instead of upholding their Constitutional rights to free speech and a free press, the court found that the pro-lifers had violated the Federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO). That unjust verdict, which led to nearly $17 million in judgments and attorney fees against the pro-lifers, is now the subject of the appeal.
Macomb County GOP Ousts Party Leaders Stuck Re-litigating Trump's 2020 Loss
- By Salena Zito
On Monday evening, each of Michigan's 83 county parties held Republican conventions. Conservatives met with the purpose of electing delegates to the state endorsement convention to begin the process of nominating candidates for attorney general and secretary of state, as well as to the Supreme Court and state education boards.
This is a granular yet critically important process that gives Michiganders, as well as reporters and analysts covering the midterm elections, a glimpse of what direction the Republican Party is headed before this fall's elections.
In particular, Macomb County, one of the state's largest and a bastion of blue-collar Republicanism, had 288 credentialed delegates meeting, each representing his or her home precinct. This county, which supported former President Donald Trump twice, could be described as one of the most "America First" large counties in the nation. Trump was even there for a rally last week. It is arguably a bellwether as to the current state of the party and its new conservative-populist coalition going forward.
Under Biden, the Party's over for Moderates
- By Suzanne Bowdey - Family Research Council
Maybe to some people, Joe Biden's fixation with gender identity feels out of character. But to others, who've watched the president undergo his own radical transformation in recent years, it makes more sense. The man who stood in front of America and defended the rights of little children to change their identities has, in many ways, done the same thing himself -- splitting from decades-old policy positions to assume a completely different political persona. When a reporter asked about Biden's transition -- was he officially identifying as a progressive? -- White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki replied that the president "is not eager to be labeled." Well, Joe Biden may not know what he is, but at least we know what he's not: a moderate.
The 'Putin's Price Hike' Canard
- By David Harsanyi
In March, inflation jumped 8.5%, the biggest spike since 1981. Economic growth is expected to slow. Voters are expected to be angry. Yesterday, press secretary Jen Psaki warned, "We expect March CPI (consumer price index) headline inflation to be extraordinarily elevated due to Putin's price hike." Today, her future employer, NBC, reported: "Inflation hits 40-year high of 8.5 percent due to war in Ukraine, rent hikes." The Washington Post says much the same. President Joe Biden's senior adviser for communications at the National Economic Council, Jesse Lee, went even further, accusing those who blame Biden for inflation woes of being "fully in lockstep" with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Disney Gets Tangled in Big-Picture Pushback
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
As much as it would pain the Left to admit it, Bob Chapek was right. The Disney CEO, whose back must hurt from bowing to so many LGBT demands over the last month, warned that getting involved in Florida politics would "divide and inflame." At the end of the day, it's "counterproductive," he tried to argue. Four weeks and a nationwide boycott later, the company and its extremist hijackers are learning a painful lesson: This isn't the conservative movement of 10 years ago. They're squaring off against a Georgia-hardened, nationwide parents-led rebellion that doesn't back down to bullies. Not anymore.
'Open Borders' Biden Is Remaking America
- By Pat Buchanan
"The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion."
So reads Article IV, Section 4 of the Constitution.
Historically, that constitutional duty -- to protect America's states against invasion -- has been the province of the president of the United States, the chief executive, who today is Joe Biden.
How did Biden's predecessors do in discharging their duty to secure America's borders?
Kentucky Legislature Overrides Governor’s Veto of Pro-life Bill
- By Bob Adelmann - The New American
Five days after Kentucky’s Democrat Governor Andy Beshear vetoed the most protective pro-life bill in the country, the state’s Republican-controlled legislature overturned it. The state’s house voted 76-21 on Wednesday and the state’s senate followed later the same day, voting 31-6, to quash his veto.
The override allowed the law to become effective immediately, with Reuters declaring that it “makes Kentucky the first U.S. state without legal abortion access since the 1973 Supreme Court case Roe v. Wade established [a mother’s] right to end a pregnancy.”
The law models the Mississippi abortion law that is pending before the Supreme Court — Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization. The high court will rule on “whether all pre-viability prohibitions on elective abortions are unconstitutional” with its decision due in June.

Into the Valley of Death - A Relevant History of Crimea
- By Mike Scruggs
The Charge of the Light Brigade
“…All in the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred.
‘Forward, the Light Brigade!
Charge for the guns’ he said.
Into the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred.”
“Cannon to right of them,
Cannon to left of them,
Cannon in front of them
Volleyed and thundered.
Stormed at with shot and shell,
Boldly they rode and well,
Into the jaws of Death,
Into the mouth of hell
Rode the six hundred.”
Many are familiar with Alfred, Lord Tennyson’s famous poem that followed by a few days the newspaper reports of a military disaster for British forces at the Battle of Balaclava on October 25, 1854. It took place in Crimea, which is very much in the news today because of the present war between Russia and Ukraine. The Crimean War from 1853 to 1856 was between the British Empire and its allies ( principally France and the Ottoman Turks) and the Russian Empire. Crimea had been part of the Russian Empire since 1783. The Battle of Balaclava was part of the siege of Sevastopol, Russia’s principal naval base on the Black Sea.
Officials Warn ESG Movement Heading to SC Amid ‘Woke’ Power Play
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
Imagine a small business applying for a bank loan and being rejected despite having an excellent credit rating and strong revenues.
The reason? Its “ESG” score was too low.
If you’ve never heard of ESG, you’re probably not alone. But the corporate and financial worlds are well-acquainted with it.
ESG stands for “environmental, social and governance.” Although there’s no single accepted national standard for determining ESG scores, critics contend the scoring routinely is used to rate companies on whether they have adopted certain liberal values or policies, such as reducing the effects of climate change, increasing diversity on their governing boards, and supporting social justice causes.
Fathers and Sons – A New Look
- By W.H. Lamb
The original version of this moving story seems to have originated from
“And a voice from Heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with Him I am well pleased” Matthew 3:17
A wealthy FATHER and his SON loved to collect rare works of art. They had everything in their expensive collection, from Picasso to Raphael to Da Vinci. All very old and very valuable. They would often sit together and admire the great works of art THE FATHER owned. When the Vietnam War broke out, THE SON left his FATHER and joined the military and went to war. He was very courageous, but tragically he died in battle while saving the life of another soldier. THE FATHER was notified and grieved deeply over the death of his ONLY SON.
'The Devil' Defaced Billboards for 'The Chosen'
- By Christian Newswire
Billboards for Hit TV Series About the Life of Jesus "Defaced" Nationwide, as Part of Ad Campaign
DALLAS -- What started as an "of course a Jesus show would advertise with billboards for Easter" took a sharp turn when their national outdoor ads were seemingly and collectively defaced with graffiti. The vandalism mocked the show's key tag lines, all with a call-to-action to visit a URL that landed users on thechosenisnotgood.com. The website contained a vague invitation to get answers on April 12th @ 3:33 pm PST.
Escape from Xinjiang: The First Christian Family Speaks out
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
When Ovalbek Turdakun opens his eyes on Easter morning, nothing will feel familiar. Six thousand miles away from the life they knew, he and his family will be celebrating the Resurrection in safety -- a luxury that few survivors of the Xinjiang camps will ever know. Touching down on American soil late Friday night, Ovalbek, his wife, and 12-year-old son exhaled for the first time in four years -- the horrors of China finally behind them. This Sunday, they'll sit in church pews without fear, openly worshipping the God who delivered them to freedom.
Hunter Biden to Dad in E-mails: Give My Pal a Job! 14 GOP Reps. Seek Answers in Federal Probe of Boy Biden’s Biz Deals
- By R. Cort Kirkwood - The New American
Hunter Biden’s Laptop from Hell is like a social disease: It’s the gift that keeps on giving.
More e-mails from the most famous laptop in the annals of laptops show that the younger Biden often used his father to get jobs for his friends — at taxpayer expense, of course.
Days after the New York Post revealed those e-mails, 14 Republicans, led by Representative Bob Good of Virginia, want U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland to brief Congress on the federal probe into the president’s son.
Upshot: The Hunter Biden Laptop Scandal won’t die down anytime soon.
Should We Commit to Fight Russia -- for Finland?
- By Pat Buchanan
The prime ministers of Sweden and Finland, Magdalena Andersson and Sanna Marin, both signaled Wednesday that they will likely be applying for membership in NATO.
The "prospect" is most "welcome," says The Washington Post: "Finland and Sweden Should Join NATO."
The editorial was titled "A Way to Punish Putin."
Before joining the rejoicing in NATO capitals, we might inspect what NATO membership for these two Nordic nations would mean for the United States.
How History Will View the Biden Years
- By Neil Patel
When historians study the disaster that was the Biden administration, they will find many factors that contributed to the historic level failure we are witnessing. At the top of the list is a president who is clearly just not up to the job. Whether due to age, cognitive decline or general ineptitude, Joe Biden has not been able to lead America. Nobody wants a weak president. People can smell weakness, and Biden reeks of it. The president put himself in a further hole by surrounding himself with a young staff driven more by a rigid, left-wing ideology than a desire to help the lives of everyday Americans. With a leader seemingly too weak to temper his team's radical ideas, the results have been catastrophic.
Evidence an Abortion Clinic in the Nation’s Capital is Breaking Federal Law
- By Eagle Forum
Earlier this month, members of the Progressive Anti-Abortion Uprising (PAAU) made a gruesome discovery outside the Washington Surgi-clinic, an abortion clinic, in Washington, D.C. While there, members of PAAU noticed a truck from Curtis Bay Medical Waste Services, a company that disposes of medical waste.
