- By Michelle Malkin
Do Colorado patriots' lives matter?
On a sunny Saturday afternoon, after gathering with Benghazi Marine hero John "Tig" Tiegen at Civic Center Plaza in Denver to show pride in America, hundreds of citizens departed a peaceful "Patriot Muster" feeling inspired. They filed out of the park bedecked in Old Glory, Thin Blue Line flags and MAGA hats. Some came in wheelchairs and walkers. Students, parents and grandparents all rallied. Military veterans turned out in force.

- By Pat Buchanan
"The Indians are seeing 60,000 Chinese soldiers on their northern border," Secretary of State Michael Pompeo ominously warned on Friday.
He spelled out what he meant to commentator Larry O'Connor:
"The Chinese have now begun to amass huge forces against India in the north. ... They absolutely need the United States to be their ally and partner in this fight."
Barrett, “Borking,” and the Culture War
- By Eagle Forum
Action Axiom: We can advance the confirmation efforts of Judge Barrett most efficiently and effectively only if we adequately and accurately understand the “worldview model” and how to apply it to judicial nominations. Applications of the model to Barrett’s record thus far have strengthened the case for her confirmation.
- INTRODUCTION: Amy Coney Barrett faces a grueling battle as she prepares to be questioned and voted on by the U. S. Senate and its Judiciary Committee. But she is not the first to undergo an unconscionable and unconstitutional attack from liberal/Humanist Senators, an attack laced with vitriol, misrepresentation, and, perhaps, even lies. In 1987, scholar and Judge Robert Bork nominated to the High Court by President Reagan, was vilified so severely and unjustifiably by Senators opposing him that a new word appeared in our language – “borking” a judge. As the first victim of this malevolent practice, Bork was highly qualified in subsequent years to write about the entire toxic environment in which his nomination rejection occurred – an environment known as the “Culture War,” or “War of the Worldviews” (i.e., Judeo-Christian worldview v. Humanistic worldview (cf., his books published in 1990, 1996, and 2003). He offers Judge Barrett and us her supporters a wealth of information and insight to arm us for the borking that surely lies ahead.
Racial Deception
- By Walter Williams
During slavery, many black women, often in a forcible union with a white man, bore mixed-race children. Based on their percentage of white blood, they were deemed "mulattos," "quadroons," "octoroons" or even "hexadecaroons." Depending on skin color, they could pass as white and avoid the gross racial discrimination suffered by their darker skinned brothers and sisters. This was portrayed in a 1949 motion picture titled "Pinky" that highlighted "passing" for white.

False Flag Deception at Charlottesville
- By Mike Scruggs
Eye-witness Interview
On Friday and Saturday, August 11-12, 2017, Charlottesville, Virginia, was the scene of conflict originating in the City Council’s attempt to remove a statue of Robert E. Lee from a prominent city park. Most people did not favor this removal. An organization with various motives, calling itself “Unite the Right,” was granted a protest rally permit by the City Council under court pressure to preserve free speech rights. The “Unite the Right” motif dominated Friday evening, but most of the rank and file attendance at the Saturday rally were there to defend keeping the Lee statue and other Southern heritage memorials generally rather than establishing a political movement. Moreover, the clash and violence that resulted on Saturday August 12 was basically perpetrated by Antifa and Black Live Matter, which had the sympathies of key City officials. The Vice Mayor of Charlottesville, Wes Bellamy, was a Black Lives Matter member. Michael Signer, the Mayor was a left-leaning Democrat hoping to embarrass President Trump by making Charlottesville a prominent sanctuary for illegal immigrants. Viewing videos of the August 12 street violence indicates Antifa was driving that violence. The actions of Charlottesville Police leaders drove many of the legal rally crowd into the raging Antifa and Black Lives Matter mob. A woman was fatally injured by an auto driver trying to escape the mob. Who really bears the responsibility?

Stand Up For Freedom!
- By Frank Raddish - Founder/Director Capitol Hill Independent Baptist Ministries
Who is running our country? Is it the Marxists or we the people? It should be overwhelmingly we the people. Americans must stop surrendering their heritage, free speech right, and constitutional liberties to the Marxists that act like a pack of snarling dogs. They hate our country, our flag, and our national anthem. The flag they are flying is a hammer and sickle, and their slogan is, “Death to America as we know it”. We have a message for these Communist devils: it ain’t happening on our watch. This is by all standards the most important election in the history of the United States of America.
$20M in COVID-19 Funds Earmarked for Tourism Marketing
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
Of the $20 million for tourism marketing, $15 million will go to the following five tourism organizations, according to JBRC records:
- Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce: $6.88 million;
- Charleston Area Convention and Visitors Bureau: $4.08 million;
- Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce: $1.43 million;
- Visit Greenville SC: $1.33 million;
- Columbia Metropolitan Convention and Visitors Bureau: $1.28 million
The Nerve last year reportedthat the five organizations in fiscal 2018 received a total of $14 million in “Destination Specific Tourism Marketing” grants from SCPRT, and collectively provided $28 million in required matches. Representatives of several of the groups said then that participating hotels in their areas assess a room fee toward the private matches for the state grants, though an investigation by The Nerve raised questions about whether the fees were as voluntary and transparent as claimed.
Where Should Christian Patriots Set Their “Hearts And Minds”?
- By W.H. Lamb
“Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.” - Colossians 3:1-2 (N.I.V.)
God’s Word seems clear enough on the surface. Christians, at least, are cautioned to not overly concern themselves with what goes on “in the world”, because while we are “in” the world, we are not to be a part “of” the world (or as some teach—the world “system”). The implications these admonitions have for Christians who have some degree of concern for what happens in the world—and especially the country-- in which we live have been cause for disputations and hurt feelings and possibly misinterpretations of motives for generations, and even more so in our present society, which appears to be rapidly disintegrating around us, as the once strong influence of Christianity obviously is waning in our country due to the indifference of many who call themselves “Christian”, at the same time that the “Satanic Disciples of Godless Socialism” are infesting our body politic, shredding our culture, rampaging and pillaging in many of our cities, and who appear to be in the ascendency (but they aren’t).
SALTY SEZ - LISTEN! To what?
- By Ray Simmons
We seem to be a strange sort of people: one thing, we put a motto on our money saying “In God We Trust” then we start putting our trust in the money. Another thing; we create a Constitution saying “We The People” are the rulers of our country, then we elect people into a governmental system to guide us and wind up letting them tell us they rule over us—and we let them get away with it. Some folks say we aren’t supposed to question our rulers because Romans Chapter 13 in the Bible says so—but we are technically the rulers according to our Constitution and if those elected don’t lead us according to that Constitution, they are the ones not following the scripture. And now there’s a group in our leadership telling us we need to change our government to give them the power to do everything for us the way they want to do it. Lots of countries have tried this and they always end up worse off than they were—and lots of our people seem to think this is a good idea. The Scriptures tell us that we are destroyed because we fail to listen--that means we should listen to the Scriptures, not to the politicians or others who want to guide us down the wide road instead of the narrow path.

Pence Victorious Over Harris and Page
- By David Limbaugh
The conventional wisdom is that Susan Page was a fair moderator of the vice presidential debate. She wasn't, but Vice President Mike Pence won anyway.
Almost all of Page's questions were loaded against the Trump-Pence agenda, and hardly any were loaded against the Biden-Harris agenda. Though her baked-in assumptions incorporated the liberal narrative, Pence managed to overcome all of it.
The Election May Be Over
- By Neil Patel
There is nearly a month to go before Election Day, and things could change, but if they don't, the numbers look like Joe Biden may win big. The national popular vote polls aren't super helpful in predicting the outcome, since our winner is picked state by state according to the Electoral College. But the national polls since the presidential debate all turned even further toward Biden. What that tells us -- no matter what flaws each individual poll may have -- is that President Donald Trump did not help himself with his debate performance. When you add in the fact that Biden was already leading in most battleground polls (where it really matters) even before the debate, you get a sense of just how dire the current situation is for Team Trump.
Putin's Got His Problems, Too
- By Pat Buchanan
Before the first Trump-Biden debate, moderator Chris Wallace listed the six subjects that would be covered:
The Trump and Biden records, the Supreme Court, COVID-19, the economy, race and violence in our cities, and the integrity of the election.
According to a recent Gallup survey, Wallace's topics tracked the public's concerns -- the top seven of which were the coronavirus, government leadership, race relations, the economy, crime and violence, the judicial system, morality and family decline.

COVID Broadens Mental Health Crisis
- By Eagle Forum
Yet another unintended consequence of COVID-19 induced shutdowns is being felt across the country. Many states are experiencing a mental health crisis, with rising rates of suicide and overdoses. It’s no wonder that the prolonged pandemic is taking a toll on mental health; the mainstream media has been engaged in unrelenting fearmongering as affected Americans are suffering from unemployment, boredom, and isolation.

State AG Seeking Millions for his Own Agency from $600M Plutonium Deal
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
In touting a $600 million settlement with the federal government over plutonium storage in the state, S.C. Attorney General Alan Wilson publicly described the deal as the “single largest settlement in South Carolina’s history.”
But what Wilson, the state’s chief lawyer since 2011, didn’t mention in his Aug. 31 announcement was thathe wantsto keep $10 million to $15 million out of the $600 million for his own agency, records show – though his office every year gets tens of millions of tax dollars through the normal budget process.
