NGU Class of 2020 Enjoys a Little Slice of 'Normal'
- By LaVerne Howell - NGU
Tigerville, SC -- North Greenville University (NGU) on Saturday, October 17, gave its Class of 2020 graduates a little slice of normal during a year that was anything but normal, even if it came a few months later than originally planned.
NGU is among the first universities in the region to hold an in-person commencement. Most schools held virtual ceremonies in May and June and have postponed on-campus gatherings until December or next spring.
Christian Voting Guide Grades President Trump 'A-,' Joe Biden 'F'
- By Christian Newswire
SAN JOSE, Calif. -- The American Christian Voting Guide rated the Republican and Democrat presidential candidates based on biblical qualifications. President Donald Trump received an "A-" and Joe Biden graded an "F".
The higher the rating "indicates greater blessings from God" for following God's Word.
The ranking was evaluated by Rev. Steven Andrew, pastor of USA Christian Church. According to the voting guide, President Trump is the only biblically qualified candidate to be president.
Election 2020: When Push Comes to Poll
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
Most Americans don't trust the media -- but should they trust the media's polls? The only firm who got the 2016 election right says no. Trafalgar's Robert Cahaly has made the bold claim that Donald Trump is ahead, and after his stellar forecast four years ago, only a skeptic would doubt him. "They call me a polling industry disrupter," he said in a lengthy sit-down with National Review. And with his 92 percent accuracy rate, he could be on the verge of stunning America again.
The Disunited States of Oppression
- By Michelle Malkin
Is there any clearer sign of how privileged a society is than the disproportionate amount of time that society spends guilting citizens over how privileged they are?
I'll never forget the first time I encountered "critical race theory" and its overbearing adherents at my alma mater, Oberlin College, in the 1990s. Multicultural studies were all the rage. Higher education officials had torpedoed Western civilization curriculum requirements at prestigious universities nationwide. The ululations of the aggrieved reached a fever pitch as anti-white extremists demanded separate academic departments, dorms, graduation ceremonies and deans in the name of justice and equality.
Satellite TV, Social Media Fuel 'World's Fastest Growing Church' in Iran
- By Christian Newswire
Despite intense persecution, thousands of Iranians risk all to embrace Christian faith, reports SAT-7
EASTON, Md. -- Iran's "underground" house church movement -- the fastest growing evangelical church in the world -- is being fueled by explosive social media use and satellite television viewership, according to new findings.
Middle East satellite broadcaster SAT-7 (www.sat7usa.org) reveals thousands of Iranians regularly tune into Christian programs on its SAT-7 PARS channel that broadcasts 24/7 in Farsi, the language spoken by most Iranians.
No Big Gains Over the Summer in Fixing SC’s Bad Roads
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
In theory, the pace of fixing South Carolina’s pothole-riddled roads should have increased over the hot summer months.
The reality, however, was different.
The Nerve’s review of newly released S.C. Department of Transportation records found that through September, the total dollar value of completed “pavements” projects statewide was less than half of the collective estimated cost of all such projects.
Graham is the Man
- By Eagle Forum
Eagle Forum PAC, the Political Action Committee associated with the conservative citizen lobbyist organization founded by Phyllis Schlafly, is honored to endorse Senator Lindsey Graham for re-election to the U.S. Senate.
“Throughout his tenure in Congress, Senator Graham has always put the citizens of South Carolina first,” said Eagle Forum President Colleen Holcomb. “Senator Graham has been a powerful force in the Senate, fighting to strengthen America’s economy and draw jobs to South Carolina, to strengthen our military, our communities and our families, and to secure high-quality health care for all Americans.”
NGU's New Tech Hub to Inspire, Encourage Creativity and Collaboration
- By LaVerne Howell - NGU
North Greenville University (NGU) Information Technology (IT) Services has opened a newly renovated space to house its operations and offer technology and training opportunities for students, faculty, and staff. The campus community had a chance to see the tech hub in action last week at its dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony held to kick off homecoming weekend on Friday, October 16.
The new hub, located in the former Tuttle Clinic, is designed to inspire, and encourage creativity and collaboration through the combination of new technologies, said Tim Huggins, the university's chief information officer.
Disgusting Professorial Teachings
- By Walter Williams
The ugliness that we have recently witnessed including rioting, billions of dollars of property destruction, assaults, murders and grossly stupid claims about our nation has its origins on college campuses. Two websites, College Reform and College Fix, report on the despicable teachings on college campuses across the nation. Let us look at some of it.
Don't Give Into The Race-Baiters!
- By Frank Raddish - Founder/Director Capitol Hill Independent Baptist Ministries
Warning: the following article is extremely politically incorrect. If you are a Marxist, race-bating, God-hating, America-hating leftist--don't read this article--because if you do, it may straighten you out from the top of your head to the sole of your foot!
The so-called moderator Savannah Guthrie for the recent NBC town hall meeting featuring President Donald Trump asked him why wouldn't he denounced white supremacy. There is no doubt that she and the rest of the leftist news media personnel already have heard Trump stand against white supremacy. Guthrie was trying to continue the fake narrative that President Trump is a racist. Guthrie while sitting on her stool on the stage revealed her hatred for Trump by her distorted face and puffed out cheeks, and she looked like a frustrated frog, sitting on a lily pad. To put it very bluntly, Guthrie is nothing but a leftist witch with a painted up face. Trump handled the town hall meeting questions and Guthrie very well, and he exhibited presidential flare. They want Trump and all the rest of us to ask forgiveness for being white, and to bow down and worship at the altar of black supremacy. It will be a cold day in the Sahara Desert when we bow down to BLM.
Biden Gang Corruption and its Apologists
- By Mike Scruggs
Sailing with the Ship of Fools
“Whom the gods would destroy, they first make mad.”
In late September, the Times Examiner and USMedia.buzz published my online article, The Biden Gang System of Doing Business, on the Joe Biden family’s egregious misuse of political influence for personal gain. Not only does this “political influence for sale” scheme conflict with common ethical standards, but it is often at taxpayer expense and a danger to American economic welfare, jobs, and national security. The article of late September was based primarily on the U.S. Senate’s 87-page report revealing huge foreign cash distributions to Hunter Biden and other members of Joe Biden’s family. It also referenced Peter Schweizer’s new book, Profiles in Corruption, which dedicates a 43-page chapter to Joe Biden and his family. Since my article of only a few weeks ago, there has been an avalanche of new information confirming and expanding on the self-serving and self-enriching politics of Joe Biden.
Senate Voting Judge Barrett Out of Judiciary Hearing
- By Eagle Forum
This past Thursday, the Senate Judiciary Committee wrapped up the Supreme Court nomination hearings for Judge Amy Coney Barrett. As is traditional, the Judiciary Committee will hold the nomination for one week and vote the Judge out of committee on Thursday, October 22nd. After this vote, it will be sent to the Senate Floor for consideration.
I Got A Spell On You!
- By Clenard Childress Jr.
This delirium demonstrated by many African Americans when it comes to the Democrat Party is astounding! It reminds me of a song from way back in the 60's by screaming, Jay Hawkins, "I Put A Spell On You," or as the song further says, "...I put a spell on you because you're mine...!" So it would seem, objectivity and fairness are virtues which have left the heart of people of color willing to accept the lies and blatant hypocrisy of the Democrat Party. Yes, this can be the only answer for this blind allegiance to a Party that blames you when they lose elections (Hillary Clinton) as if there wasn't anything else about her, or her campaign, that may have caused "sane voters" to raise questions and vote the other way. "I put a spell on you because your mine!" That is exactly what the Democratic Party feels about African Americans. The DNC assumes they own the African American people so they also own your vote and practically dare you to leave the Democratic Party. Thus, people of color are forever constrained to the cotton fields and can never leave the "Plantation," for if you leave the "Plantation," you're no longer Black. Just ask Presidential candidate, Joe Biden, who clearly expressed those same sentiments when he boldly proclaimed, "...If you don't vote for me, you ain't Black...!"
An Ant or A Grasshopper?
- By W.H. Lamb
Choose Wisely on Nov. 3, Because Your Life May Depend on It!
I wrote a version of this article for The Times Examiner just before the November, 2016 presidential election. I warned my readers then of the serious threats to the loss of our constitutional freedoms if the treacherous and anti-American Democrat ticket, led by Comrade Hillary Clinton, was victorious. Thankfully, despite the best illegal efforts of that Klan of New Bolsheviks to threaten and lie their way into the White House, the American people elected Donald Trump, and at least the worst potential for the trashing of our republic was averted for a time. Now the still somewhat free but increasingly frustrated and fearful citizens of the U.S. are faced with a looming cultural catastrophe so serious and so potentially devastating to our freedom that it must be considered as nothing short of the potential termination of our battered republic as it has existed under the U.S. Constitution since 1787 should the Klan of New Bolsheviks (formerly called Democrats) take control of the White House and both houses of Congress. Yes, it IS that serious!
Trump, Biden—and the Curious Case of the Undecided Voter
- By Joseph M. Bianchi
Looking over the political landscape one is immediately impressed with the great gulf that is fixed between Democrats and Republicans. Years ago, both these parties had many areas in their party platforms that crossed over. There were many points of agreement, with just as many nuances in those same agreements. The stock idea was that Republicans were the pro-business, pro-Wall Street party, and the Democrats were, by and large, a party of the working class, overwhelmingly supported by the unions.

SALTY SEZ - Don't Believe The Lies
- By Ray Simmons
Back as early as 2006 I heard a pastor say we are in the condition we’re in because we have believed the LIE. I suspect most of you know about the lie Lucifer told Eve to get her to eat the forbidden fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. First thing, he suggested that God had not told them the truth about what would happen – then he lied and said they would become like God if they ate the fruit. Well, that was just a little more than she could stand and she took a bite, no harm in that. Then she had to convince Adam to try it or she would be out there all by herself. Adam couldn’t take that so he took a bite too. And that’s when all the world went bad.
Well, the lie hasn’t changed its approach much. If you don’t believe the Bible or think it’s just partly true, you will fall for any offer you think will benefit you. And when some good old honest-john congressman feeds you a line that he’s really working out a deal that can’t be beat you’ll latch on and give him your vote. Next election he hasn’t come through but he assures you he is still working it out and needs a little more time. He’s really a fine Joe and we vote him in again. Things get worse instead of better but we keep on electing good old honest-john Joe.
Then some late-bloomer comes along and gets elected when he’s not supposed to, and starts doing all the things he said he was gonna do. But old honest-john Joe says he’s doing them all wrong and we shouldn’t vote for him any-more, and he gets all the newspapers telling us a lot of bad things about the new guy. Things get all confused – how could he get all those good things done if he’s such a rascal? We kinda wonder why they don’t tell us why Joe didn’t get all those thing done while he was in there. Think maybe the newspapers and old honest-john Joe are telling us lies? That’s what I ‘spect.
Quietly Passed Laws Give Legislative Delegations More Powers
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
At least one thing didn’t change in the S.C. Legislature during the coronavirus outbreak this year: legislative delegations’ control over local affairs.
Two delegations gained even more power.
Last month, lawmakers quietly passed a Senate bill, which had stalled after COVID-19 hit the state in the spring, giving the three-member Hampton County legislative delegation the authority to appoint a nine-member school board pending the planned consolidation of Hampton County school districts 1 and 2.
Judge Barrett: An Originalist, Not a Conservative Activist
- By David Limbaugh
I won't pretend to be surprised by this, but Senate Democrats, knowing they don't have the power to stop Judge Amy Coney Barrett's confirmation to the Supreme Court, have turned the confirmation hearings into a campaign platform to smear President Donald Trump.
The Democrats' approach to the hearings illustrates how disingenuous their professed commitment to preserve the integrity of "our democracy" is. Indeed, nothing better illustrates their failure to distinguish between a democracy and a constitutional republic than their misguided judicial philosophy.
Big Tech's Election Interference Has Gone Too Far
- By Neil Patel
The New York Post's breaking news of emails purporting to show Hunter Biden scheming to make money off the family name has created a social media firestorm. Twitter began blocking users from sharing it almost instantly. Facebook didn't block the story outright, but they did announce almost immediately that they were "reducing its distribution on our platform." Even for the most sober observer, it sure seems like the social media platforms are interfering with the free flow of information relevant to our election. This is all the more so when you consider that stories critical of President Donald Trump, such as the anonymous leaks of his taxes, were not similarly blocked or throttled.
Can Trump Pull a Second Rabbit Out of the Hat?
- By Pat Buchanan
"Apres moi, la deluge," predicted Louis XV after his army's stunning defeat by Prussia's Frederick the Great at the Battle of Rossbach in 1757.
"La deluge," the Revolution, came, three decades later, to wash the Bourbon monarchy away in blood and to send Louis XV's grandson, Louis XVI, and his queen, Marie Antoinette, to the guillotine.
Donald Trump is issuing similar warnings for the republic if Joe Biden wins the presidency and Democrats capture the Senate. And the stakes, given the magnitude of the chasm that divides us, are indeed high.
SC Launch Records: Start-up Companies Failed to Repay Millions in Financial Aid

- By Christian Newswire

A Media-Political Assassination in Denver
- By Michelle Malkin
Do Colorado patriots' lives matter?
On a sunny Saturday afternoon, after gathering with Benghazi Marine hero John "Tig" Tiegen at Civic Center Plaza in Denver to show pride in America, hundreds of citizens departed a peaceful "Patriot Muster" feeling inspired. They filed out of the park bedecked in Old Glory, Thin Blue Line flags and MAGA hats. Some came in wheelchairs and walkers. Students, parents and grandparents all rallied. Military veterans turned out in force.
Personhood Alliance Announces Official Position on Vaccine Ethics
- By Christian Newswire
WASHINGTON -- The national board of directors of the Personhood Alliance announced today its official position on vaccine ethics (www.personhood.org/vaccines). This announcement comes at a critical time, as vaccine development and other treatments for COVID-19 race forward and as new laws make it more difficult to claim moral and religious exemptions for vaccines that are produced or tested using the remains of aborted human beings.
