Biden Goes All In on the Race Issue
- By Pat Buchanan
Those who believed America's racial divide would begin to close with the civil rights acts of the 1960s and the election of a black president in this century appear to have been overly optimistic.
The race divide seems deeper and wider than at any time in our lifetimes. Most of the aspiring leaders of the Democratic Party have apparently concluded that branding the president a "racist" and "white supremacist" is the strategy to pursue to win the nomination and the White House.

- By Eagle Forum
Editor’s Note: In the first Democratic presidential candidates debate, “Medicare for All” was at the top of the list of supposedly free stuff that could never withstand fiscal scrutiny. Renowned health care policy expert Dr. Sally C. Pipes, president and CEO at the Pacific Research Institute, explains exactly what Medicare for All will mean for physician shortages, taxes, and the abolition of private health insurance. Reprinted with permission. Pat Daugherty, Ed.D.

First of all I owe you guys my humble apology. On number IV an observant reader reminded me of an erroneous date I had lifted and failed to verify, which also caused me to miscount years. I should have caught it but I didn’t. The 1778 dates should have been 1787. Sorry ‘bout that.

Warning: How the VA 'Red-Flags' Patriots
- By Michelle Malkin
Gun-grabbing crisis vultures just can't let the latest mass shootings go to waste. "Red flag" laws are now all the rage in the Beltway as the magic pill to prevent homicidal maniacs from wreaking havoc on the nation. Even President Donald Trump has endorsed the idea of preemptively confiscating people's firearms if they are deemed a "threat."

The United States District Court for the District of North Dakota has ruled that the abortifacient mandate under the Affordable Care Act (ACA), as well as the subsequent "accommodation," burdens the religious exercise of CEA's members and violates the Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 1993.
Exploiting Massacres to Raise Poll Ratings
- By Pat Buchanan
It was two days of contrast that tell us about America 2019.
In El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio, following the mass murders of Saturday and Sunday morning, the local folks on camera -- police, prosecutors, mayors, FBI and city officials -- were nonpartisan, patient, polite and dignified in the unity and solemnity of their grief for their dead and wounded.
Motives in Recent Mass Shootings Should Include Impact of Violent Video Games
- By Bob Adelmann - The New American
As hundreds of law-enforcement personnel and forensic examiners explore the three shootings over the past week, searching for motives behind the violence, one common element keeps bubbling to the surface: anger.
It surfaced when the Garlic Festival shooter, 19-year-old Santino Legan, told a witness that he was shooting people there “because I’m really angry.” He left a clue on Instagram, referring his readers to a rancid, racist, and anti-Semitic book that was so hateful and vitriolic that it was banned for several years.

Democrats Don't Care About Baltimore
- By Tucker Carlson & Neil Patel
Last weekend, the president got bored and decided to see if he could make Democrats defend one of the most dangerous, mismanaged places in the country. And of course, he could. It wasn't hard. He just sent a flurry of tweets criticizing the city of Baltimore and Rep. Elijah Cummings. President Donald Trump called Baltimore a "disgusting, rat and rodent invested" hellhole, a "corrupt mess" that "no human being" would want to live in. A lot of people who've never been to Baltimore claimed to be deeply offended by those remarks. One person who seemed to agree with them was former Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh. Just last year, she said things were so bad you could "smell the rotting rats."
A Biblical Perspective of Slavery
- By Mike Scruggs
Trusted Bondservants and Oppressed Slaves - Part 2 of a series
Last week’s article was dominated by direct quotes from Scripture, especially the letters of the Apostle Paul. An overall understanding of those Scriptures should be clear to those who are able to shake the substantial non-Biblical cultural bias prevalent for many decades. The Bible does not promote slavery but providentially allows it and regulates it to prevent human abuse. Slave-owning was not a sin, but slave mistreatment and abuse were.
It's Time for the Blood-Letting to End and the Healing to Begin
- By Christian Newswire
WICHITA, Kan. -- Operation Rescue would like to extend condolences and prayers for the families affected by the senseless and tragic violence over the weekend in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio.
Operation Rescue strongly condemns the use of violence to advance political causes. We oppose the taking of innocent life in all cases, whether it be through gun violence or other crimes, hastening the death of the elderly and disabled, or the violence of abortion that brutally kills defenseless children in the womb.
