I’ve always admired the late, great actor and patriot, Charlton Heston, who was a staunch friend of our Second Amendment firearm liberties for most of his life, and as President of the National Rifle Association for 5 years, he stood firm and strong in his support of our Constitutional liberties. He was also a staunch supporter of the liberties of all Americans, having marched with Dr. Martin King in the “civil rights” struggles of the 1960’s.
Was Trump Right About Baltimore?
- By Walter Williams
Here's what President Donald Trump tweeted about Baltimore's congressman and his city: "Rep. Elijah Cummings has been a brutal bully, shouting and screaming at the great men & women of Border Patrol about conditions at the Southern Border, when actually his Baltimore district is far worse and more dangerous. His district is considered the worst in the USA."

Cross Slope of Roads
- By Edward D. Sloan, Jr.
In 2016, South Carolina Public Interest Foundation, acting as a gadfly, sued SCDOT seeking to recruit the judiciary to assist it in motivating SCDOT to give higher priority to adequately cross sloping its roads to enhance public safety by reducing propensity for hydroplaning. The suit papers included statistics about the prevalence of hydroplaning, the magnitude of claims that SCDOT had been paying for “water on roadway” incidents, drawings hosing sections of I-85 with deficient cross slope, and current good engineering design of cross slope.

What Made America Great IV
- By Ray Simmons
Writing these articles has revealed to me how much I don’t know about our early history. I’m having fun finding out about it. This one will talk a little about our Constitution and take a look at our colonial religious activities. The Constitutional Convention convened on May 25, 1778 and was signed on September 17, 1778, nearly four months of meetings, proposals, objections and discussions. The first State to ratify it was Delaware on December 7, 1787. On June 21, 1788 New Hampshire became the 9thState to ratify and the Constitution was activated. On May 19, 1790 Rhode Island became the 13th State to Ratify. The Bill of Rights was ratified 12/15/1791.
A Multicultural Mugging of Uncle Joe
- By Pat Buchanan
In his opening statement at Wednesday's Democratic debate in Detroit, Joe Biden addressed Donald Trump while pointing proudly to the racial and ethnic diversity of the nine Democrats standing beside him.
"Mr. President, this is America and we are strong and great because of this diversity, not in spite of it. ... We love it. We are here to stay. And we certainly are not going to leave it to you."
Whereupon the other nine -- three women, two African Americans, one Asian American and one Hispanic -- began a multicultural mugging of Biden that at times took on the aspect of a flash mob.
Trump 2020 Ad Nails the Squad With Their Own Radical Words
- By R. Cort Kirkwood - The New American
President Trump has settled on at least one tactic for the 2020 presidential campaign.
Part of his Keep American Great strategy will make The Squad — the quartet of four radical leftist congresswomen given to anti-American, anti-Christian rants — the face of the Democratic Party.
Thus has the campaign released an advertisement that lets the four politicians speak for themselves.
Gillette Comes within a Whisker of Disaster
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
"Your stupid boycotts will never make a dent in a company like P&G," one liberal scoffed back in January. Turns out, they didn't just make a dent. After a string of male-bashing, transgender shaving ads, the parent company of Gillette got nicked so badly, market experts wonder if the brand will survive. Gillette's CEO insists the radical activism was "worth the price." Let's hope so -- because so far, that price is a whopping $8 billion dollars.
Democrats, in Showing Their Extremism, Do Nation a Favor
- By David Limbaugh
In Wednesday evening's Democratic presidential debate circus, the left's favorite darlings turned on one another with a selfish vengeance, which was a positive development for the country and mildly entertaining. The glorious infighting continued among progressive commentators.

Unanimous Vote Undermines our Values
- By Eagle Forum
Unbeknownst to most Americans, the House left Washington last week after passing a piece of legislation that greatly impacts not only our tax code, but also our culture. The Promoting Respect for Individuals’ Dignity and Equality Actor PRIDE Act (H.R. 3299) changes the federal tax code by replacing gender specific terms with the terms spouses and married couple. This allows same-sex couples to receive tax benefits that were previously awarded only to traditionally married couples or a husband and wife.

Baltimore Ravings: The Remedy for America's Cities
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
Nobody goes to the playgrounds anymore. They're abandoned -- except for the gangs. "You saw them selling drugs, right there," reporter Lawrence Jones said, fuming. "Nobody came to break it up." To the longtime residents of Baltimore, the changes have been staggering. "I've lived here 58 years," one man explained, "and it was such an honor and pleasure to live here. And what I see now -- sometimes I just drive through, and I'm almost in tears." It may not be popular, but what the president said, one African-American woman told Lawrence, "it's true."

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today it received six pages of records from the FBI showing that in June, 2017, a month after FBI Director James Comey was fired by President Donald Trump, FBI agents visited his home and collected “as evidence” four memos that allegedly detail conversations he had with President Trump. One of his memos was written on June 6, a month after he was fired.
California Governor Attempts to Strong Arm Release of Trump’s Tax Returns
- By James Murphy - The New American
On Tuesday of last week, leftist California Governor Gavin Newsom signed legislation that would require any candidate running for the United States presidency to release his or her five most recent tax returns to be included on the ballot in the state. The law is a direct challenge to current president Donald Trump, who has been reticent to release his own tax records.
Islam and Christianity, Same God
- By Jim Brooks - Roebuck, SC
The question is asked. “Is the God of the Old and New Testaments the same as Allah of the Quran? The specific answer is NO! The foundational teachings of Islam are unequivocally contradictory to foundational Christianity!
Trump Wins by Framing the Debate
- By John & Andy Schlafly
Prior Republican presidents allowed their opponents and the media to set the agenda. The more liberal the past GOP president, the more he took his daily cues from television and newspapers controlled by the Left.
But not Trump. He tweets out what he wants people to talk about, and he has his adversaries scrambling to respond to what Trump says, not vice-versa.
First Do No Harm
- By Deborah Schwartzkopff - Mcminnville, OR
I am adding on to the initial notes for electroshock, given the mass shootings that are sadly taking place. Many psychiatric drugs are well known to cause violence in some patients. Perhaps these mass shootings are tied to these drugs prescribed by psychiatry?

Maybe you've noticed from watching TV in the past couple of years: When it's about tax returns, executive orders or, of course, Russia, the left strikes a law-and-order pose. Nobody, they tell us, should be above the law in this country. Nobody. Not even — drumroll, please — the president of the United States.

Freedom of Assembly Under Fire
- By Michelle Malkin
Do law-abiding American citizens still have the right to gather peacefully to discuss their ideas without fear of government censorship and retribution?
In my adopted hometown of Colorado Springs, the answer is "No" if you believe in strict border control or question whether the U.S. can survive as a nation-state. The answer is "No" if you wish to meet with others to express concern about the unsustainability of current U.S. immigration policy. The answer is "No" if you dare to speak unvarnished truths about the deleterious security and economic impacts of illegal immigrants, Third World and sharia-promoting Muslim refugees, temporary guest workers, chain migration beneficiaries, diversity visa lottery winners, and legions of unassimilated and unvetted visitors and other visa holders from around the world.
2020: It Don't Mean a Thing If You Ain't Got Those Swings
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
When most people think about the Democratic party, they think of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.). That may be a good thing for AOC, but it's terrible news for the DNC. Heading into 2020, the worst scenario for Donald Trump's opponents is to be defined by a 29-year-old socialist with half-baked, radical views, light years away from heartland America. But according to a pile of new surveys from Axios to Heritage Action, that's a gamble too many liberals are willing to take.

Ask Your Congressman to Vote NO on the “Open Borders Act of 2019”
- By Eagle Forum
Republicans claim to be the party of fiscal responsibility. But, the House’s passage of the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2019 (H.R. 3877) seems to prove otherwise. Instead of negotiating a budget that funds the government with budgetary mechanisms to help reign in spending, like enforcing a real debt limit, 65 Republicans voted for the measure which allowed the Democrat controlled House to leave Washington for August recess. Now, the Senate is considering the legislation that adds nearly $2 trillion to the federal debt over the next 10 years.
