INDEPENDENT CONSERVATIVE VOICE OF
UPSTATE SOUTH CAROLINA

WASHINGTON -- The news conference will be on Wednesday, April 24, at 10:00 AM in front of the Supreme Court as oral arguments begin.

This is the first case to be heard by the Supreme Court directly relating to the Dobbs decision which overturned Roe v Wade.

The news conference is being sponsored by Stanton Public Policy Center/Purple Sash Revolution which is a women's advocacy and educational group that works on issues of human rights and justice that empower and inspire women. It is affiliated with Stanton Healthcare which has life-affirming women's health clinics in America and internationally.

Stanton Healthcare is based in Idaho and their clients, medical professionals and advocates were a major voice in getting the Defense of Life Act passed which is a critical part of the Supreme Case on Wednesday.

Leaders will also be discussing abortion and the role it will play in the upcoming national elections.

Brandi Swindell, Founder and CEO of Stanton Healthcare, comments:

"It is critical to understand the 'Defense of Life Act,' which the Biden Administration is trying to override, was passed into law through the strong voices and stories of the clients, medical professionals and advocates of Stanton Healthcare.

"Strong and empowered women passionately went to the Idaho State Capitol to work for an end to abortion violence and ensure women were protected from abortion abuse and the abortion industry.

"It is deeply troubling to see President Biden ignore and disrespect the voices of Idaho's women as he attempts to advance a radical abortion agenda through federal regulations.

"The Dobbs decision made it clear there is no federal or Constitutional right to abortion and our hope and prayer is the Supreme Court will respect the rights of Idaho's voters and not allow our emergency rooms to be turned into abortion clinics by the federal government."

Ms. Swindell will be in the Supreme Court during oral arguments and will be available for interviews throughout the day.

Rev. Patrick Mahoney, Chief Strategy Officer for Stanton Public Policy Center, comments:

"Tragically, the Biden Administration is trying force his extremist abortion agenda through federal regulations while ignoring the wishes of the Idaho legislature to end abortion violence. By doing this, President Biden is exposing his administration's strategy for expanding abortion nationwide.

"It is critical the Supreme Court stop this expansion and overreach of abortion by the federal government and ensure states have the right to end abortion violence and abuse."
