How to Advocate for Your Student
- By Eagle Forum
Over the last two years, the pandemic lockdowns gave parents a daily inside look at what students were learning. It’s no surprise they didn’t like what they saw and took their grievances to school boards across the country. Now that students are heading into a new school year, parents must again be motivated to advocate for their child’s education. One way to do this is by championing policies that teach students the truth about history and the truth about their bodies as well as loudly opposing curriculums that push harmful ideologies.

The 'National Extremist Association': As Students Fall Behind, Teachers Union Attacks Parents
- By Ben Johnson - The Washington Stand
As students continue to struggle with learning loss brought on by school lockdowns, a public teachers union has taken out a new ad branding concerned parents “extremists” and instructing them to take their complaints “somewhere else.”
“We don’t agree on everything in New Jersey, but we all agree that our kids deserve a world class education,” says the ad from the New Jersey Education Association, the state affiliate of the nation’s largest teachers union, the NEA. “So, when extremists start attacking our schools — that’s not who we are. People who only want to fight to score political points should take that somewhere else.”

Public School Bureaucrats Want to Choose Your Child's Religion
- By Ben Johnson - The Washington Stand
The Supreme Court ruled on June 21 that state education budgets can’t discriminate against Christian schools — but the most significant aspect of the case came more than six months earlier. In a revealing exchange during the oral arguments of Carson v. Makin last December 8, an attorney for the state of Maine essentially confessed that the government wants to discriminate based on religion, because politicians have “values they want to instill” in public schoolchildren. Multiple Supreme Court justices then explained precisely how they wish to discriminate against traditional Christian and religious believers.

Public School Teachers Told to Indoctrinate Kids as Young as Three in Radical LGBT Theory
- By Ben Johnson - The Washington Stand
State universities indoctrinate future teachers in controversial transgender, racial, and political theories — and instruct them to teach these principles to children beginning in preschool, a new report has found.
“There's a huge amount of liberal indoctrination going on,” the report’s author, Will Flanders, told “Washington Watch” guest host Joseph Backholm on Monday. “We found it across every public university in the state that has an education program.”
Flanders, the research director at the Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty (WILL), performed a wide-ranging records search across all public universities in Wisconsin that teach education. He and co-author Dylan Palmer asked for the syllabus, assignments, and reading list for education courses — the classes future teachers needed to pass in order to teach in the state’s public schools.
