BJU to Hold Criminal Justice Challenge Coin Ceremony

Bob Jones University will host the eighth annual Criminal Justice Challenge Coin Ceremony Thursday, May 6, for the Class of 2020 and 2021 graduates of BJU’s criminal justice program. The ceremony will be held at 4 p.m. in Stratton Hall on the BJU campus.
During the ceremony, graduating seniors and 2020 graduates will be presented with a BJU Criminal Justice Challenge Coin. The front of the coin is imprinted with the phrase “Standing Valiantly for Christ” and an emblazoned banner stamped with Romans 3:14. The reverse side bears the name of the University and the BJU crest which symbolizes the heritage and biblical worldview which are foundational to our liberal arts education and character development in preparation for effective service to Christ and the community.

Bob Jones University Commencement Ceremonies

Founder’s Memorial Amphitorium
Over 600 students in the class of 2021 will receive degrees at the 94th annual commencement of Bob Jones University Friday, May 7. The two-hour, in-person program begins at 2 p.m. in BJU’s Founder’s Memorial Amphitorium (FMA).
In addition to the nearly 510 students receiving bachelor’s degrees, 78 students will receive master’s degrees and 34 students will receive associate degrees. Three candidates will receive earned doctoral degrees.

NGU Recognizes Academic Achievement

North Greenville University (NGU) has released award recipients for the 2020-21 academic year recognizing students' academic achievements. NGU pays tribute to its gifted scholars and those who supported the students through their academic journey. The university wants to thank the parents, family members, mentors, and friends who have supported these students in so many ways during this challenging academic year. Without sacrifices and determination from their support system, these students could not be successful.

BJU to Hold 40th Annual Nurses Pinning Ceremony

Bob Jones University will host the 40th annual Nurses Pinning Ceremony Thursday, May 6, for the 2021 graduates of BJU’s nursing program. The ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. in Rodeheaver Auditorium on the BJU campus.
During the ceremony, 27 nursing students will be presented with individual pins featuring a cross, representing the Christian emphasis of the BJU nursing program. The students will carry lamps, modeled after the Florence Nightingale lamp, which they will light during the ceremony while reciting the nurse’s pledge.

BJU Seminary Strategic Vision to Address Pastor Shortage, Propelled by "5P" Plan of Investment and Innovation

Bob Jones University (BJU) President Steve Pettit today announced a new strategic vision for BJU Seminary to spearhead a 500x5x5 campaign to help address a nationwide pastor shortage by putting 500 new pastors on the path to the pulpit in the next five years – and every five years beyond that.
This strategic vision announcement follows Pettit’s April 16 naming of Dr. Alan Benson to a new, expanded role as executive vice president for student development and ministry advancement, joining BJU Seminary Dean Dr. Neal Cushman in the Seminary’s leadership team. Benson has served at BJU since July 2018, as vice president for student development and discipleship.

Find your ball cap, grab your mitt, and join the North Greenville University (NGU) Alumni Association for some baseball in Greenville's historic West End. NGU will host an NGUConnect event at the Greenville Drive game on Friday, May 14, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Flour Field is located at 945 S. Main Street in Greenville.
NGU alumni and friends are invited to the stadium's Champions Club for an all-you-can-eat buffet and premium game seating. Premium tickets are $25 per person. General admission seating for the game is also available for $10 per person. Champions Club tickets are limited, so be sure and make your reservation early.
