Democrat Progressive (Socialist) Caucus Virtually Intact After Election
The Institute for Policy Studies, one of the organizations funded by “Puppet Master” George Soros and described by World Net Daily as a “Marxist-oriented think tank” located in Washington, DC, is advising President Barack Obama to begin governing by Executive Order.
Members of the organization note that most of the members of the leftist Progressive Caucus within the Democrat Caucus were reelected in the November General Election and that moderate Blue Dog Democrats were defeated. They stress that 12 of the 34 Democrats who voted against Obama’s Healthcare Reform were defeated at the polls. This leaves Democrats with a more liberal and leftist Senate and House minority, they reason, therefore they see this trend as a victory for leftist radicals and a Mandate for Obama to harden his stance and implement his radical agenda using Presidential Executive Orders.
The Congressional Progressive Caucus is the largest Caucus of House Democrats numbering more than 80 members.
Their members include Sheila Jackson-Lee, Dennis Kucinich, John Conyers, Barney Frank, Jesse Jackson, Jr., John Lewis, James McGovern, Charles Rangel, Bobby Rush, Maxine Waters, and Henry Waxman.
