Eric Holder Campaigns with #PelosiJoe Cunningham
- By SC GOP Press Release
The South Carolina Republican Party released the following statement from State Chairman Drew McKissick today regarding former Attorney General Eric Holder's recent campaigning for Democrat Joe Cunningham in the 1st congressional district:
"Joe Cunningham has spent his entire campaign trying to fool the people of the lowcountry into thinking that he's some sort of a moderate, but now he's got Eric Holder, Obama's radical liberal Attorney General out campaigning for him. This is the same guy who joked about physical violence against Republicans", McKissick said.
"It's just more of the same two-face campaigning we get from other Democrats who want to pretend to be moderates, but then govern as extreme liberals. South Carolina voters are smart, and no amount of playing moderate "dress-up" is going to fool them on Election Day."

Senate Race Rocked Over Candidate’s Announcement
- By GOP Presidential
Arizona Democratic Senate candidate Kyrsten Sinema was given a boost Thursday when the Green Party’s candidate dropped out and endorsed her — a move that could give Sinema an edge over Republican Martha McSally in an airtight race.
“I want [supporters] to vote for a better Arizona, and that would be for Kyrsten Sinema,” third-party candidate Angela Green told 12 News. “After watching the debates and seeing everything, Sinema’s stance on a lot of things are very similar to mine.”

The decision, coming just days away from Tuesday’s midterm election, shakes up the already close race — where polling has been particularly volatile.
A Fox News poll released this week had the race at a tie, while an ABC 15/OH Predictive Insights poll had McSally ahead by 7. On the flip side, an NBC News/Marist poll had Sinema ahead by 6 in a head-to-head, but that lead cut to 3 when factoring in Green — who polled at 6 percent. The Real Clear Politics average of recent polls has Sinema ahead by 0.7 percent

Extraordinary Measures: Voters Tackle 155 Issues Nov. 6
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
Congress is important, but it’s not the only thing at stake next Tuesday! On November 6th, voters have the chance to cut out the middleman on key policies like abortion, health care, gender-free bathrooms, gambling, marijuana, and so much more. By Tuesday night, Americans will have weighed in on 155 ballot measures – directly deciding issues that, in at least three states, could save thousands of lives.
Instead of turning the questions over to legislators, voters in Alabama, West Virginia, and Oregon will be the final say on taxpayer-funded abortion, post-Roe v. Wade policy, and the rights of unborn children. As Michael New points out, these opportunities don’t come along every day. “Since the Roe v. Wade decision, pro-life activists have made relatively little use of direct democracy. The costs of qualifying a proposal for the ballot and running an effective campaign has discouraged many state and local pro-life groups from using the initiative process.”

SLED Won’t Release Investigative File on Former S.C. House Speaker
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
In requesting this month’s public release of a state grand jury report into legislative corruption, special prosecutor David Pascoe wrote that he “firmly believes that the greatest weapon against corruption and incompetence in government is transparency.”
Yet the State Law Enforcement Division, which assisted Pascoe, declined multiple open-records requests this year by The Nerve to release its investigative file on former House Speaker Bobby Harrell – arguably the most powerful lawmaker before his guilty plea to ethics violations in October 2014, and whose criminal case sparked the state grand jury investigation into other indicted lawmakers.
