Biden White House to Oust Conservative Reporters from Press Briefings
- By S.A. McCarthy - The Washington Stand
Amidst growing concerns over censorship, the Biden White House is changing its rules on press credentials, potentially forcing conservative reporters out of the briefing room.
According to the new rules, White House reporters must hold a press pass from the U.S. House of Representatives, Senate, or Supreme Court to maintain access to the White House briefing room. Starting July 31, existing White House “hard passes” will expire, leaving several reporters without access to press briefings. One such reporter is Fred Lucas, White House correspondent for The Heritage Foundation’s news outlet The Daily Signal. Lucas has held a hard pass since 2009 and has covered both Obama’s and Trump’s presidencies; in two weeks, Lucas will be without a White House press pass.

U.S. House Passes Defense Bill to Undo Wokeism in the Military
- By Eagle Forum
In Defense of Our Nation’s Defenders
Last week the House Republicans began the process to eliminate many of the woke policies the Left has been forcing on the U.S. military for years. Historically, the reauthorization of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) has been bipartisan, but the previous Democrat majority attempted to insert their agenda with language to provide on-demand abortions, taxpayer funded transition surgeries for transgenders, vaccine mandates, and drafting our daughters. This year, House conservatives are defending the armed services by making it clear our military is not to be used for radical social experimentation.

RFK Jr. Pleads with Fellow Democrats for More Civility and Less Censorship
- By Dan Hart - The Washington Stand
A fiery hearing held Thursday by the House Judiciary Subcommittee on the “Weaponization of the Federal Government” unexpectedly became an opportunity for Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to reflect on civility and the seminal importance of free speech in the wake of Democratic committee members accusing him of being racist and anti-Semitic.
In his opening statement, Kennedy announced that he would be setting aside his prepared remarks so that he could address the accusations of racism and anti-Semitism leveled at him by ranking member Rep. Stacey Plaskett (D-V.I.), Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schulz (D-Fla.), and others. Kennedy’s testimony ended up becoming an impassioned plea for Americans of all political persuasions to become more empathetic of each other and to have greater respect for the free speech protections enshrined in the Constitution.

Should Legal Documents Be Accurate?
- By Anne Schlafly, Eagle Forum Chairman
The "trans" phenomenon defies science. Instead of defining sex through biology, one's sex is now determined by time and space, according to the activists. In this context, time and space are subjective emotions and not scientific terms. "I feel" has replaced "I am." Feelings are not science.
A birth certificate, a driver's license, and a passport are legal documents. These documents ought to be accurate. These documents should not be manipulated according to feelings. Kansas has recently passed a law that defines males and females at birth by their biology. What a radical notion of using the sex characteristics of humans as the definition of biological sex! Biology, not ideology, should define sex.

No US Military Intervention in Ukraine
- By The John Birch Society
On Friday, the U.S. Department of Defense announced it would further escalate U.S. military aid to Ukraine, this time sending $800 million in arms, including cluster bombs. Instead of spending vast sums of money on Ukraine, including to deliver deadly military hardware, the United States must return to the traditional foreign policy of George Washington and Thomas Jefferson. Contact your U.S. representative and senators, and urge them to end all U.S. assistance to Ukraine, and to pass H.Res.113 as a first, initial step.
Members of the U.S. House of Representatives are seeking to pass a resolution calling for the end of all U.S. material support for Ukraine. It is imperative that the House pass this resolution, and that the Senate introduces and passes a similar resolution.
