RIP Ravi Zacharias, Good and Faithful Servant
- By David Limbaugh
Three short months ago, I received an encouraging text from my friend Ravi Zacharias. Now, as if in a blink of an eye, he has passed away. Along with countless thousands, I grieve.
When he wrote, he was reeling from excruciating back pain but wholly unaware of the cancer diagnosis that would soon follow. Despite his suffering and his onerous schedule, he shared that he was praying for my brother, Rush, who had just been diagnosed with cancer.
What Does Winning Mean in a Forever War?
- By Pat Buchanan
When a Wall Street Journal editorial warned this week against any precipitous U.S. withdrawal that might imperil our gains in Afghanistan, an exasperated President Trump shot back:
"Could someone please explain to them that we have been there for 19 years. ... and except at the beginning, we never really fought to win."
Is that true? Did we "never really" fight to win during our 19-year war in Afghanistan, except when we first ousted the Taliban in 2001?
A California PTA Chapter Contracts with Planned Parenthood to Teach Kids Sex Ed in Elementary School
- By Capitol Resource Institute
SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Capitol Resource Institute has discovered that a Sacramento-area Parent Teacher Association (PTA) has contracted with Planned Parenthood to teach sexual education to elementary school students.
The local PTA chapter hides their payments to Planned Parenthood by listing the classes-- called "puberty talks" -- under "assemblies" in their annual budget. These assemblies have taken place during the last two school years and are planned for the 2020-21 school year as well.
An Open Letter to FX Chairman John Landgraf and the Director of 'AKA Jane Roe' Nick Sweeney from Pro-life Advocates who Actually Knew Norma McCorvey
- By Christian Newswire
WICHITA, Kan. -- Operation Rescue has joined with other national pro-life leaders, who personally knew Norma McCorvey, in signing an open letter to the FX filmmakers who produced a documentary on Norma's life called "AKA Jane Roe."
We maintain that media allegations that Norma McCorvey was paid to lie about being pro-life are completely false. We urge everyone who watches the production to do so with a healthy amount of skepticism in this day of agenda-driven "Fake News."
WHO Let the Truth out
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
The Chinese Communist Party must wake up every morning and thank its lucky stars for the U.S. media. While the rest of the world rages at the regime for a virus that's killed hundreds of thousands of people, America's press corps only sees one villain: Donald Trump. That's been an unexpected blessing for China, who knows the media's red-hot hatred of the president will help undermine anything he does to hold them accountable. Fortunately for America, Donald Trump has had three and a half years of experience ignoring the press -- and he's not going to stop now.
Lawyer for Norma McCorvey (Jane Roe of Roe v. Wade): 'Don't Trust the FX Documentary'
- By The Justice Foundation
SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- In the leaked excerpts of the upcoming FX Documentary "AKA Jane Roe," liberal, pro-abortion activist and film producer Nick Sweeney attempts to destroy the memory of Norma McCorvey, more commonly known as Jane Roe of Roe v. Wade.
Operation Rescue Responds to False FX Statements About Norma McCorvey
- By Christian Newswire
WICHITA, Kan. -- FX plans to air a so-called documentary about the life of Norma McCorvey, who was the "Jane Roe" in the 1973 Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision that decriminalized abortion in America.
"I knew Norma well, and at one time, she lived with my family in the Wichita, Kansas, area for several months. I knew her to be a straightforward, down-to-earth woman who was witty and kind. She loved children and adored my own five children," said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. "There is no way her Christian faith or her pro-life beliefs were false. The makers of 'AKA Jane Roe' should be ashamed that they took advantage of Norma in the vulnerable last days of her life, then released their spurious movie after she passed away when she could not defend herself."

EASTON, Md. -- A spike in domestic violence caused by the COVID-19 lockdown is sending shockwaves around the globe -- and driving victims in some countries to live television chat shows and social media for help, a satellite broadcaster revealed today.
Middle East satellite broadcaster SAT-7 (www.sat7usa.org) says interest in its live programs tackling domestic violence has skyrocketed since people have been told to stay home, and viewers' cries for help on social media "never stop."
Stop Training Saudi Arabia's Jihad Pilots
- By Michelle Malkin
I'm glad the FBI was able to crack the iPhones of the Pensacola naval air base shooter, which confirmed that radicalized Royal Saudi Air Force second lieutenant Mohammed Saeed Alshamrani had communicated with al-Qaida to carry out a "special operation." Three young American patriots died in Alshamrani's December 2019 attack. The more information we have to prevent the needless slaughter of U.S. military members on U.S. soil the better.

China: ‘108 Million People In Lockdown’ As Virus Spreads Again
- By Stefan J. Bos, Special Correspondent Worthy News
(Worthy News) - While several nations began to reopen after months of lockdowns, China put a whopping 108 million people under a stay-at-home order.
In an abrupt reversal of the re-opening taking place across the nation of roughly 1.4 billion people, cities in its Jilin province cut off trains and buses, shut schools and quarantined tens of thousands of people on Monday.
To Teach His Own: The Rise of Homeschooling
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
It didn't look like recess. It looked like an elementary school jail. Instead of carefree children running around outside, the images from French journalists are almost tragic: little boys and girls, each sitting glumly in their own chalk-outlined box. To some parents, it was a sobering picture of what public education might look like in the fall. But to millions of others, it was confirmation -- the time to homeschool is now.
Will Americans Submit to a Second Lockdown?
- By Pat Buchanan
On March 24, President Donald Trump said he wanted the country and the economy "opened up and just raring to go by Easter."
Easter came and went. And Trump was mocked for being aspirational and unrealistic. Yet, with Ascension Thursday at hand, 40 days after Easter, the president seems to have been ahead of his time.
The country, as a whole, is, and has been, opening up. Sunday's New York Times reports that, for weeks now, more than two-thirds of the states have been relaxing restrictions as Trump had urged.

Confederate Cavalry
- By Mike Scruggs
While Horse and Hero Fell--They That Fought so Well - Part 1 of a Series
“Every morning brought a noble chance, and every chance brought out a noble knight.”—Alfred, Lord Tennyson in Morte d’Arthur, 1842, quoted by Winston Churchill in his June 4, 1940, “Finest Hour” speech.
There lingers to this day a romantic vision of Confederate cavalry that brings forth the images of Sir Walter Scott’s gallant knights of old. Many Southern cavalrymen, and to a certain extent the whole Confederate Army, were strongly influenced by the romantic novels of Scott, which were very popular reading in the South. They were also undoubtedly influenced by the nobility and military gallantry of many of the English poet Alfred, Lord Tennyson’s poems, such as Morte d’Arthur (1842) and Charge of the Light Brigade (1854).
Rotten Education Isn't Preordained
- By Walter Williams
Black politicians, civil rights leaders and their white liberal advocates have little or no interest in doing anything effective to deal with what's no less than an education crisis among black students. In city after city with large black populations, such as Baltimore, St. Louis, Detroit, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., less than 10% of students test proficient in reading and math. For example, in 2016, in 13 Baltimore high schools, not a single student tested proficient in math. In six other high schools, only 1% tested proficient in math. Citywide, only 15% of Baltimore students passed the state's English test. Despite these academic deficiencies, about 70% of the students graduate and are conferred a high school diploma.
