Seeking a Scapegoat for Biden’s Crimes
- By C. Mitchell Shaw - The New American
Democrats have shown great concern about even the possibility that there are connections between foreign powers and those in seats of power within our federal government. That “concern” has been demonstrated by Democrats going so far as to conduct a thus-far endless stream of investigations, probes, and inquiries that have hung like a shadow over every day of Donald Trump’s presidency. But that concern is pretend, rather than genuine. In this case, the estrangement between “Democrats” and “genuine” is illustrated by the simple fact that their alleged concern does not extend to one of their own, despite his clear connections to a foreign power.
The Impeachment Sideshow
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
When moving boxes started showing up in about 20 Democrats' offices yesterday, it was supposed to be a joke. But after Thursday’s impeachment resolution, some House members might want to hang on to the supplies. "Get packing!" the label told vulnerable Democrats, who voted to make the sham probe official. "Since day one, Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the Washington Democrats have sought to remove this president from office," Rep. Mike Bost (R-Ill.) argued. But based on the latest battleground polling, the real question isn’t whether Donald Trump will lose his job - but how many Pelosi "moderates" will lose theirs.

50 Years Ago: The Day Nixon Routed the Establishment
- By Pat Buchanan
What are the roots of our present disorder, of the hostilities and hatreds that so divide us? When did we become this us vs. them nation?
Who started the fire?
Many trace the roots of our uncivil social conflict to the 1960s and the Johnson years when LBJ, victorious in a 61% landslide in 1964, could not, by 1968, visit a college campus without triggering a violent protest.
The morning after his narrow presidential victory in 1968, Richard Nixon said his goal would be to "bring us together." And in early 1969, he seemed to be succeeding.
Exposing the Fraud of Socialism
- By David Limbaugh
People seem shocked that recent polls show millennials are enamored of socialism -- an economic system that reasonable and educated Americans have long known is disastrous. They shouldn't be; this has been a long time coming.
The latest survey by Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation shows that 70% of millennials are likely to vote socialist. Adding insult to injury, only 57% believe the Declaration of Independence "better guarantees freedom and equality" over "The Communist Manifesto." The worst part of this is that it is real, not a parody piece in "The Onion."
Why Kids Are Socialists and How to Start Fixing It
- By Tucker Carlson & Neil Patel
You may be happy with the state of the U.S. economy, but many young people aren't. And as a result, a lot of them are embracing political extremism.
A recent poll by YouGov finds that half of all millennials -- and even more of the generation that follows them -- distrust capitalism. Seventy percent of millennials say they'd be willing to vote for a socialist. If you're not shocked by this, it's only because you've seen it before. But it ought to scare you.
Open Doors Releases Statement About Tennessee Pastor Detained by Authorities in India: 'Authorities Targeted This American Pastor Because of His Faith'
- By Christian Newswire
SANTA ANA, Calif.-- Open Doors has learned that authorities in India have arrested and detained American pastor, Bryan Nerren. Nerren, who is from Tennessee, apparently drew attention from security agents because he was carrying money intended to cover the expenses of two conferences and the travel expenses of a few pastors. A customs agent called to the scene questioned Nerron about his faith for an hour straight, demanding to know whether the money would be used for Christian activities. Although Nerren was allowed to fly on to Bagdogra, the customs agent reportedly notified authorities at Nerren's destination who then arrested him upon landing.
Senators Remove Anti-Life Provisions from Appropriations
- By Eagle Forum
This week, the Senate is working on appropriations before the looming November 22nd deadline to avoid a government shutdown.
When the Chamber passed the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2019 raising the debt limit, lawmakers agreed to not include any poison pills, new riders, or changes that would create higher spending levels. Unfortunately, Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) introduced an amendment, S. Amdt. 948, that has been adopted in the bill reported out of the Senate Appropriations Committee.

- By James Murphy - The New American
A registered foreign agent for the government of Azerbaijan is in charge of the money for a new Super PAC which looks to assist Democrat candidate Joe Biden in his bid for the presidency in 2020. In its Statement of Organization, the new committee, called Unite the Country, lists Larry Rasky as the treasurer.
Ask Your Representative and Senator to Support Transparency
- By Eagle Forum
It is abundantly clear that this march toward impeachment is nothing more than a partisan coup to overturn the 2016 election and prevent voters from deciding for themselves whether to reelect the President in 2020. This attempt to impeach President Trump threatens to destroy our Constitutional process and the stability of the Republic.
Radical Spawn Chesa Boudin: Nation's Most Toxic DA Candidate
- By Michelle Malkin
Socialist Bernie Sanders just endorsed the bleeding-heart candidate for San Francisco District Attorney who makes President Obama's Attorney General, Eric Holder, look like Sheriff Joe Arpaio.
Meet Chesa Boudin. He's the Bay Area public defender and former shill/translator for the late Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez who plans to turn the craphole of San Francisco into an even bigger sanctuary for the homeless, drug abusers, illegal immigrants, gangsters, vandals, thieves, recidivist criminals and cop-haters than it is already. Boudin leads a spooky field of left-lefter-leftists running for DA on the Nov. 5 ballot.
Under Trump, No Margin for Terror
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
She didn’t live to see justice done. By 26, Kayla Mueller was already gone—killed a world away from home, in ISIS captivity. For four years, her parents have struggled to make sense of her death, “haunted every day,” they say, by the fact that her country was silent. Today, that country—led by a man determined to find the terrorists responsible—can rest a little easier, knowing that the butcher behind Kayla’s murder—and so many others’—has finally met his maker.

If passed, it will start levying a $25 tax on every firearm sold in the city starting January 1, along with two cents per round on ammunition of .22-caliber or less, and five cents per round on all other calibers.
Is Trump Facing a 1960s-Style Revolt?
- By Pat Buchanan
Sunday morning, President Trump announced that the world's worst terrorist, the head of the ISIS caliphate who had raped an American woman, had received justice.
About to be captured and carried off in a helicopter by U.S. special forces, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi blew himself up with an explosive vest in a compound in northwest Syria. The long search for the sadist and fanatic had ended in triumph. No U.S. troops were lost.

The Trump Administration's Not-so Closeted Christians
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
Mike Pompeo is a West Point grad, a Harvard Law alum, businessman, former congressman, and -- apparently -- prophet. When the secretary of state mixed things up with a speech to the American Association of Christian Counselors earlier this month, he said the media "would break out the pitchforks" when they found out he asks God "for direction in [his] work." He was right.
The $4 Billion Piggy Bank Hidden from South Carolinians
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
As state agencies prepare their proposed fiscal 2020-21 budgets, what they likely won’t reveal is the amount of “other” fund surpluses carried over year after year – collectively billions of dollars.
As of June 30 – the end of the 2018-19 fiscal year – state agencies and divisions, plus several major state funds, had a total of nearly $3.9 billion in other-fund cash balances, according to S.C. Department of Administration records released to The Nerve under the Freedom of Information Act.
Gun Grabbers Misleading Us
- By Walter Williams
Gun control did not become politically acceptable until the Gun Control Act of 1968 signed into law by President Lyndon B. Johnson. The law's primary focus was to regulate commerce in firearms by prohibiting interstate firearms transfers except among licensed manufacturers, dealers and importers. Today's gun control advocates have gone much further, calling for an outright ban of what they call assault rifles such as the AR-15. By the way, AR stands for ArmaLite Rifle, which is manufactured by Colt Manufacturing Co. As for being a military assault weapon, our soldiers would be laughed off the battlefield carrying AR-15s.
Turkey, the Kurds, and Kurdistan
- By Mike Scruggs
Understanding the Tensions
Turkey sits between Europe and the Middle East. About three percent of it on the western side of the narrow passage through the Bosporus, the Sea of Marmara, and the Dardanelles is in Europe, and the rest, situated on the Anatolian Peninsula, is the western most extension of Asia. It is 99.8 percent Muslim. Aside from the United States, Turkey is the most populous nation in the NATO alliance with 82 million people. It has a free market economy, which is the 13th largest in the world. With 355,000 active military and 170,000 ready reserves, it has the largest armed forces in NATO except for the U.S. The Turkish Army has 2,500 tanks and over 9,000 other armored fighting vehicles.

Medical Costs Transparency: As Clear as Peanut Butter
- By Marilyn M. Singleton
What if purchasing medical products and services were like buying peanut butter? Grocery stores have several brands and varieties: smooth, chunky, old-fashioned, natural, organic, no added sugar, reduced fat, no-stir, and pre-mixed with jelly with clearly marked prices ranging from $1.75 for the store’s generic brand to $7 for the over-priced Yuppie brand. After carefully examining the labels, our shopper chose a 16-ounce, $5 jar of no-added-sugar peanut butter. She paid the cashier $5 for the peanut butter and went home.
Anne Livingston – An Ambassador For Christ – A Doctor For People’s Souls And Bodies! (Part 1)
- By W.H. Lamb
“And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.” - Matthew 14:14
No—this wonderful story isn’t about me. I’d like to tell you, in her own words, about a friend that I met several years ago at the business in which I work part time (writing for The Times Examiner seems to be my “full time” job). We had another mutual friend who would tell me about the “adventures” of a missionary/doctor friend of hers, and eventually I got a chance to meet this unique lady, a physician/surgeon/missionary to Haiti whose name is Dr. Anne Livingston, during her occasional visits back to Greenville.
