Losing Ground to Liberal Hell in Colorado
Among the millions of illegal immigrants coming across our Southern border are the members of the once Venezuelan Prison Gang, Tren de Aragua—in English, the Aragua Train. Beginning in 2018, Tren de Aragua has now become an aggressive and vicious multinational migrant crime syndicate being investigated by over 100 U.S. police departments in all 50 states. They traffic in drugs, guns, women, children, and more. They are engaged in kidnapping-for-ransom, protection racketeering, sex-crimes, robbery, various bribery and money-laundering schemes, and general thuggery, theft, and bullying. In Aurora, Colorado, they recently took over some apartment buildings and demanded that the residents pay them rent. The owner was forced to sell out. Aurora is a large eastern suburb of Denver and the third largest city in Colorado with nearly 400,000 residents. Police reports show the Tren de Aragua (often locally abbreviated to “TDA”) is active in the entire Metro-Denver area.

Back in 1899, at the start of the Boer War (in South Africa), in an essay titled, “The Old Issue”, Rudyard Kipling wrote, “All we have of freedom—all we use or know—this our fathers bought for us, long and long ago”. At that time, the British Empire and its influence (for good or ill) extended over much of the world. British “freedom”—at least as defined by Parliament and the English Monarchy—prevailed over most of its polyglot peoples, with or without their approval.
Naturalism of the Gaps Argument

Evolutionists often accused creationists of using a God of the gaps argument that is filling in gaps in our knowledge with God. However, that's exactly what they do with naturalism because no matter what the evidence says they will always jump to the conclusion that there has to be a natural explanation for it regardless of what probability or known laws of nature indicate.
The point is that evolutionists always will fill in something they do not have an answer for by insisting that there is a naturalistic explanation. They may rely on the vague idea that there has to be a naturalistic explanation. They will sometimes put a label on that so-called explanation without actually providing an explanation. This is most common when they are trying to deal with it in an official scientific context such as a paper.

So we've been through an entire debate, and Kamala Harris still hasn't explained any of her extraordinary policy flip-flops.
I'm sorry, a person can't just wake up one morning and abandon their entire worldview without an explanation. I mean, they can try, but no sensible person would take them seriously. Sure, politicians have been calibrating and triangulating their positions since Pericles. Most have been compelled to explain their ideological evolution -- or have the decency to lie about it. None has ever relied on an army of anonymous campaign flacks to erase a lifetime of positions.

Focusing on Missing Cats and Dogs Misses Much More Important Issues
Springfield, Ohio, is a city in mid-western Ohio that had a population of 59.000 in 2020. But now in 2024, it has in addition 15,000 to 20,000 immigrants from Haiti, and most of these came in 2024. I believe 20,000 is the most credible figure, which continues to grow. At a September 9 City Council meeting, many Springfield residents expressed their outrage at the City Council for agreeing to or letting this happen. The issue of missing pets was far overshadowed by issues of public safety, housing problems, “squatters” infringing on homes, concern for their children, and the burden on education, healthcare, and the tax base. At least one woman said she and her husband have had enough; it was time to leave Springfield. Many others are undoubtedly now thinking of leaving Springfield. She further complained:

God’s Word tells us, in Joel 1:3: “Tell it to your children, and let your children tell it to their children, and their children to the next generation.” This is still excellent advice for Americans today in regards to the topic of ‘freedom’, because if any group of people is in danger of losing the liberties bequeathed to them by their Fore Parents, it is the people of the U.S. It is US! The Founders of the United States were a pretty wise collection of men (aided and encouraged by a wise collection of their wives and mothers, I’m certain). By declaring “Independence” from Mother England they knew they would be considered as traitors to their King and would suffer the consequences should the King’s men catch them. Benjamin Franklin reminded his countrymen (and especially US) that, “Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.” Franklin’s wisdom is doubly true today.
God of the Gaps Argument

Creationists are frequently accused of using a God of the gaps argument. Such an argument boils down to we don't know therefore it must be God. While this kind of thinking has been used in the past and there are some Christians who do use it. It is not used in creation science.
The accusation of making a God of the gaps argument is frequently made by evolutionists anytime a creationist claims that the evidence actually points to God. Now sometimes the accusation is deserved but there are many times when it is not.
