Snapshots from the Secret War in Laos
The Secret War in Laos is frequently dated as 1964 through 1975 and was a part of the Vietnam War. Its objective was to stop the supply of North Vietnamese weapons, munitions, fuel, and enemy manpower into South Vietnam and Cambodia. The U.S. intervened in this huge web of North Vietnamese logistical trails, named for North Vietnamese leader Ho Chi Minh, largely by aerial bombing and strafing. I can best explain the Air Commando efforts from 1966 to 1969 by snapshots of my own experience as an A-26K navigator of the 606th Air Commando Squadron in 1967.

Challenges for a Young Earth Solved

The previous article dealt with several common challenges to a young earth. In this article solutions are provided for the first four that are simple and for the most part well established. These will be short explanations but references will be given to help you understand them better.
- Impact craters.
Biblical creation does offer a very convenient way of handling meteors asteroids and their impact craters. One aspect is that not all of them are impact craters. This is particularly true of so-called fossil craters here on Earth. This reduces the number of actual craters considerably. There are other explanations such as volcanic activity and under the conditions of the flood even air bubbles.

The Democrat Party is now waxing Marxian and Gramscian communist, as the Republican Party, in response, is waxing populist. For deep, structural, moral, spiritual, and political-institutional reasons we would need political-philosophical geniuses like Augustine and Calhoun to explain to us, the days of more moderate and peaceful politics in the United States are now gone forever.
While outright communists like Harris and Walz are at the head of the Democrat Party just now, they are not, of course, the actual head or leaders of that Party. Real power among the Dems emanates from the same shadowy, deep-state actors who tried recently, by a useful and expendable proxy, to assassinate the Dem’s dread pariah, Donald Trump. And those same dark forces will likely try again, against both Trump and his VP, Vance.

American involvement in Vietnam remained largely advisory until late 1964. By June of that year, President Lyndon Johnson realized that North Vietnam was infiltrating regular army units into South Vietnam with five times the fire power of the South Vietnamese Army units.45 Following attacks by North Vietnamese patrol boats on the destroyers Maddox and Turner Joy in the Tonkin Gulf in August 1964, Johnson allowed U.S. Navy aircraft to retaliate against North Vietnamese patrol boat installations.

“By this time Pastor Lee was not only our spiritual leader but was the militia leader to the Jesus Sect community, not only in Andria but in villages up and down the Tomak river for many miles. He had his personal fortified compound deep in the forest, many miles inland from the river. Only a few people knew how to find it, and none of our JS members had ever been to his fortified home. He had a fanatically devoted group of around 80 militiamen who protected us, and him. We knew that only about half of them were true JS followers, but all of them despised the Enforcers and Overmasters. They also did their best to protect the Jesus followers from the pagan villagers, and it was not uncommon for those evil mockers and harassers to themselves be brought to justice by our militia. Whippings were the most common punishments for their first offense against us, but severe beatings and executions were not unknown either. Right or wrong, we had concluded that, in order to survive, we could not always “turn the other cheek” without some form of resistance.
