Who Is Your Doctor?
- By Dr. Jane M. Orient
People used to know who their doctor was. His name and phone number were on the wall or the refrigerator next to the telephone. He was there for you and could manage most of your problems.
When I was about 13, my mom took me to our pediatrician for belly pain. He was on his way out the door, but he stopped to take care of me. He diagnosed appendicitis based on history and physical examination. He called his favorite surgeon (“Billy,” a Tucson legend), who came from the golf course to meet me in the emergency room. Within hours, my red-hot appendix was in a jar. My parents paid the hospital bill ($150—10 days’ pay for a construction laborer) as I was discharged a few days later.

Dems' POW Flags Still AWOL
- By Tony Perkins
If Friday was National Vietnam Veterans Day, Democrats had a funny way of celebrating it. While the Defense Department and other agencies stopped to honor the nine million Americans who served, liberal congressmen, apparently, couldn't be bothered. They were too busy pulling the POW/MIA flags out of their stands to make room for the baby blue and pink banner of the transgender movement. It's "Transgender Visibility Week," some tried to explain. But when it comes to Speaker Nancy Pelosi's (D-Calif.) party, isn't every week?

This is a bill that requires medical professionals to provide healthcare to a baby who is born alive during an abortion attempt. In light of recent comments by lawmakers and legislation that has moved in various states, the time is now to protect babies!

Aine, the Banshee Queen
- By Mike Scruggs
Ireland and the Tuatha De Danann
“I worked like a banshee,” she said
“A curious expression,” I thought. Ireland is a land of mystic legend, haunting music, lilting poetry, and colorful expressions, and these have followed the Irish and their descendents around the world. I happen to be fond of all these things in addition to a good bowl of Irish stew. I seldom write poetry, but hearing this reference to banshees as an expression of hard work set me to researching and reminiscing about Irish culture, and the words came. This poem was written in May 2008 after taking an evening walk in the mountains of Western North Carolina.
New Marist Poll: Overwhelming Majority of New Yorkers Reject Late-Term Abortion
- By Christian Newswire
NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- In the wake of a new law that allows abortion at any time during pregnancy, a new survey conducted by the Marist Poll finds that the overwhelming majority of New York State residents oppose late-term abortion. In fact, a majority of New Yorkers would limit abortion to - at most - the first three months of pregnancy.
The majority opposition to late-term abortion, and support for abortion restrictions was strong even though most New Yorkers identify as pro-choice (62 percent to 34 percent pro-life).

Trump Should Close NATO Membership Rolls
- By Pat Buchanan
When Donald Trump meets with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg today, the president should give him a direct message:
The roster of NATO membership is closed. For good. The United States will not hand out any more war guarantees to fight Russia to secure borders deep in Eastern Europe, when our own southern border is bleeding profusely.
Police Aren't Enough
- By Walter Williams
Sometimes, during my drive to work, I listen to Clarence Maurice Mitchell IV, host of the Baltimore's WBAL C4 radio show. Mitchell was formerly a member of Maryland's House of Delegates and its Senate. In recent weeks, Mitchell has been talking about the terrible crime situation in Baltimore. In 2018, there were 308 homicides. So far this year, there have been 69. That's in a 2018 population of 611,648 -- down from nearly a million in 1950. The city is pinning its hopes to reduce homicides and other crime on new Police Commissioner Michael Harrison.

77 years ago, on Saturday, April 18, 1942 to be exact, on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Hornet (CV 8), eighty young, courageous, and thoroughly trained men got into sixteen new and specially modified B-25B twin-engine bombers, launched themselves from a pitching deck caused by heavy waves in a storm-tossed sea hundreds of miles off the coast of Japan (farther away than they had planned to launch), and flew into the annals of legend.

What the Mueller Report Really Means
- By Eagle Forum
After a long 22-month investigation, special counsel Robert Mueller found no evidence of collusion between the President and Russia to influence the 2016 presidential election. President Trump’s rhetoric was correct: this was a witch hunt. Now that the investigation is over, should we move on? Not yet. This is the time to showcase the ways that the Left fabricates stories to take down our President.
The Korean War Wall of Remembrance
- By Lewis Vaughn
ALL GAVE SOME, SOME GAVE ALL. The Korean War, The Forgotten War should be called The Forgotten Victory. Why?
Thirty-seven thousand+ men and women lost their lives and more that 103K were wounded while defending South Korea from aggressive Communist North Korean forces when they launched an all-out war against South Korea on June 25, 1950. Within a week they were on the out-skirts of Seoul, the capitol of South Korea with numerous divisions of Armored, Artillery, and Infantry units. They were confident that victory was at hand. But the shooting war lasted thirty-seven months until July 1953 when a truce was signed. Technically the war is still going on as a peace treaty has never been signed. Men are still losing their lives in the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) of Korea.
The Dems' Flagging Support for Our Troops
- By Tony Perkins
Is it Capitol Hill or a transgender pride parade? In some hallways, it's tough to tell. The same Democrats who think our military should take a backseat to gender-free validation are proving it by lining the walls of House office buildings with "trans equality" flags. And in case our troops didn't know where they ranked with Speaker Nancy Pelosi's (D-Calif.) party, some even took down POW displays to make room.

Time for App Rating Accountability
- By Christian Newswire
Child advocates call for accurate app ratings due to online grooming for abuse, sex trafficking, pornography, and self-harm. #fixappratings
WASHINGTON -- The National Center on Sexual Exploitation, Utah State Senator Todd Weiler, Protect Young Eyes, child advocate Melissa McKay, and dozens of other organizations, are calling for a solution to the current system for rating top apps. Because app developers currently self-rate their products, the present system is often misleading, inconsistent across platforms, and does not appropriately warn parents of the potential dangers found in apps.

The Good Guys are Illegally Pushing for Door to Door Confiscation through Red Flag Polices - Not Law! Learn From History
- By Bradlee Dean
“Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom. It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves.” – William Pitt (the Younger), Speech in the House of Commons, November 18, 1783
In the light of what just allegedly happened in New Zealand, one might ask themselves the question, why it is that their acting government would attempt to disarm their own citizenry instead of arming them to protect themselves against armed assailants (Luke 11:21-22)?
Furthermore, why is their acting government detaining and charging their own citizens for sharing the video of this alleged massacre? After all, it was broadcasted LIVE on Facebook!

During the last three weeks, Washington Center students have been investigating rates of growth for different plants during Adapted Environmental Science. First, the students were offered a choice of the type of seed to grow (corn, pinto bean, pea, radish, or sunflower). The students reviewed plant needs while they each planted their own seed. During week one, the students observed their "germinated" seed and reviewed the vocabulary word "germination." The plant growth was measured at week one (orange), two (yellow), and three (red) and then graphed for each class. The students were required to glue the color-coded rectangles above their pictures while counting. The classes discussed most and least using the data in the graphs. During week three, the students observed the plant parts and saw how the roots need room to grow. The record for the longest plant was a 22" pea plant! The students also learned that sometimes seeds do not grow. Finally, the seeds were transferred to the garden or greenhouse for continued growth.
Legislators Continue to Look Out for Their Own Bottom Lines
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
Another year, another round of state lawmakers supporting legislation that could fatten their wallets.
Just this month alone, at least two House bills and a Senate bill were introduced, while separate legislation passed the Senate, that pose potential conflicts of interest for lawmakers who authored or co-sponsored the proposals.
State ethics law bans public officials from using their positions to “obtain an economic interest for himself, a family member, an individual with whom he is associated, or a business with which he is associated.”
The High Costs of the Left’s Conspiracy Theory

Liberal Wikipedia defines “conspiracy theory” as the fear of a nonexistent conspiracy. By that definition, the theory that Donald Trump conspired with the Russians to steal the 2016 election has to be ranked as the biggest conspiracy theory of all time.
As Robert Mueller closes the books on his 2-year reign of terror against Trump supporters, we should pause to consider the collateral damage Mueller caused. Mueller’s conspiracy theory about collusion with Russia caused unfathomable harm to many people, most of whom are totally innocent.
Must the West Beg the World for Forgiveness?
- By Pat Buchanan
As the Democratic Party quarrels over reparations for slavery, a new and related issue has arisen, raised by the president of Mexico.
Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador has written Pope Francis I and King Felipe VI to demand their apologies for the Spanish conquest of Mexico that began 500 years ago with the "invasion" of Hernando Cortez.
Arriving on the Gulf Coast in 1519, Cortes marched in two years to what is today's Mexico City to impose Spanish rule, the Spanish language and culture, and the Catholic faith upon the indigenous peoples.
Joe Biden's Pathetic Pandering
- By David Limbaugh
Joe Biden has reached new heights of pandering. He has achieved the Olympic gold in cultural groveling. He must really want to be president.
I am always amazed that people think Biden is so transparent and genuine. Yes, he shoots his mouth off before thinking sometimes, as we all do, but way more than a high-profile public official should. But that's more a function of his impulsiveness and arrogance than his authenticity.
Congressman Russ Fulcher Calls on Planned Parenthood President to Provide the Percentage of Abortions the Organization Performs on Women of Color
- By Christian Newswire
WASHINGTON -- In a letter sent to Dr. Leana Wen, Congressman Fulcher states, "I recently learned that Planned Parenthood Founder Margaret Sanger embraced a philosophy of racial discrimination and eugenics. That historical fact, and the possibility that this philosophy continues within your organization, is disturbing to me and many others."
Fulcher goes on to say, "As a Representative of many who oppose Ms. Sanger's philosophy, I must do all that I can to ensure her racist and eugenic policies are still not being implemented today."
