Jeff Farrington Named NGU Head Football Coach

Jeff Farrington, who played football at Greer High School and lettered twice as a defensive back at the Citadel before graduating in 1982, has been named football coach at North Greenville University.
NGU President, Dr. James B. Epting, introduced the new coach and his wife Traci to the staff faculty and public Thursday, February 7, in the President’s Conference Room.

Tigerville, SC - A gathering of the faculty, staff and students took place on this beautiful Wednesday at North Greenville University to celebrate the school’s 120th birthday at the Founder’s Day chapel service.
“Today is a special day,” said President Jimmy Epting as he welcomed students and faculty to the service.
This year’s speaker, Rev. Paul Jimenez, pastor of Taylors First Baptist Church, opened his message by asking the question, “What are the toughest challenges you’ve faced that are keeping you from your mission?”

North Greenville University Welcomes 19th Consecutive Record Enrollment

Tigerville, SC –For the nineteenth consecutive year, North Greenville University again welcomed the largest number of students in school history. A combined total of 2,451 undergraduate and graduate students began classes this fall; an increase of 44 students over last year. A school record 716 new students enrolled this year; an increase from 689 a year ago.
In addition, NGU welcomed 105 Palmetto Fellows Scholarship recipients, also a record number. These represent the very best academic students from South Carolina. Approximately 145 students anticipate graduation this December.
