Building A Wall for Your Homeschool
- By Ray Sheen
This article is about three walls. There has been a lot in the news over the years about building a wall and the purpose of a wall. Of course, the wall that is being discussed is a wall on the southern border of the USA. We will look at that one and two others.
Let’s take a minute to consider the implications of the southern border wall, or rather the lack of that wall. Without a wall, the border is open for anyone to cross. Now there are border patrol agents whose role is to monitor who is crossing and turn back those who should not be allowed to enter. But that border is 1,954 miles long. There are countless places where people can cross. And while some of those who are crossing are seeking asylum or seeking an opportunity to participate in the American workforce, there are also those who are criminals who are bringing their crime with them and spreading it through the country.

An April Morning – Part 2, “No King But King Jesus”
- By W.H. Lamb
I’ve always loved Emerson’s famous “Concord Hymn”, the first stanza of which I’ve quoted above. It’s carved onto the famous “Minuteman Statue” that stands on one side of The Old North Bridge in Concord, Massachusetts. I’ve stood by this statue several times, read those verses from its pedestal, and walked across at least two reconstructed versions of that “Old North Bridge” over the years. But I’ve always believed that the “Minuteman” statue was erected in the wrong place—next to that Old North Bridge, rather than on the true birthplace of American freedom, the historic Battle Green in Lexington, Massachusetts, where the real first “shot heard ‘round the world” was fired, several hours before the battle at the Old North Bridge, both of which occurred on April 19, 1775.

Darwin’s Magic Evolutionary Ideology
- By Mike Scruggs
Intelligent Design versus Humanist Dogma
Intelligent Design theory infers the existence of an intelligent designer of creation based on evidence. This evidence comes from intricate study of microbiology and other sciences, probability theory, and simple logic. By that deductive process it supports theism and questions the claims of Darwinism. Intelligent Design lends scientific and intellectual support to theistic religious faiths, including Christianity and Judaism, and makes many of the claims of Darwinian evolution look highly improbable and silly.

An April Morning – Part 1, Lexington’s Brave Parson
- By W.H. Lamb
Throughout most of the night, the tired man rode his lathered “very good horse” along the muddy road that led past the small settlements and homesteads belonging to the people of his colony. Road grime spattered both man and horse, but both were concerned only with the completion of the night’s dangerous work—the horse to find rest and food, and the man to warn his fellow colonists of the extreme danger swiftly closing in on them. His mount felt the urgency of its rider—some type of calamity was imminent, it realized as it gathered its last reserves of strength. The man was shouting strange words as he stopped briefly at desolate lone homes, or hurried through the silent dark streets of the few small groupings of homes in his path—words that sounded like, “To arms, to arms—the regulars are out!”

Cory Booker Is A Day Late and a Dollar Short: Redeeming MLK’s Check Must Include Reparations, Jubilee, and Redemption
- By Alveda King
“…America has given the Negro people a bad check, a check which has come back marked “insufficient funds… we refuse to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt. We refuse to believe that there are insufficient funds in the great vaults of opportunity of this nation.” MLK 1963 “I HAVE A DREAM.”
Democrat presidential hopeful Cory Booker is touting a new reparations bill for African Americans while secretly supporting an agenda of genocide and infanticide by abortion of millions of Black babies. Even now, in New York, Cory’s camp is broadening abortion access and simultaneously working to legalize marijuana; kill the babies and anesthetize the conscience of the victims. What an oxymoron; offer freedom and death at the same time.

Failure to Think Big Thoughts
- By Ben Graydon
If you fail to lead in the area where God has made you to be a leader, you are like a seeing person who refuses to open his eyes … or a hearing person with his fingers in his ears shouting, “Njah-njah-njah-njah-njah-njah!”
You are, then, truly like a fish out of water … or a bird with no feathers.
Sent to the game, you fail to check in and you miss your at-bat.

The Battle for Truth and Southern Heritage
- By Mike Scruggs
The American Iliad Continues
On April 9, 1865, a gallant Union officer went out of his way to honor the surrendering Confederate troops at Appomattox. To his great and everlasting credit, Union Lieutenant General Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain, the heroic defender of Little Round Top at Gettysburg, a brave, honest, and compassionate Christian soldier, had his Union troops give a salute of arms to the surrendering Confederate regiments as they passed in final review before the Union victors. They had been their adversaries in war, but now these Union soldiers, who had made blood sacrifices of their own, saluted the courage and honor of the defeated Confederate soldiers. The Confederate soldiers believed in the justice and righteousness of their cause, and when the surrender at Appomattox came, they gave up their regimental banners with tears and weeping.
