Americans Must Stand Against Unconstitutional Vaccine Mandates and Restrictions
- By Truth and Liberty Coalition
WOODLAND PARK, Colo. -- In a stunning display of hubris and contempt for individual freedom as well as the conscience and convictions of his fellow citizens, Joe Biden has announced that he will issue an "executive order" requiring mandatory Covid-19 vaccinations across the land.
Striking at the core of the individual liberty of 100 million Americans, Biden announced that he will require that
- all federal employees and contractors must be vaccinated or else be terminated;
- all private employers with more than 100 workers must require their employees to get vaccinated or continuously produce negative test results as a condition of employment;
- all medical facilities receiving Medicare and Medicaid funds (nearly every health care facility in America) must force all employees to be vaccinated;
- All arenas and entertainment venues are being asked to require proof of vaccination (thus, embracing vaccine passports which his administration previously said they had no intention of doing).
- The federal government will apply financial and regulatory pressure to states to force schoolteachers to be vaccinated.

NGU's 'Influence felt' on new SBC website
- By LaVerne Howell - NGU
The Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) has launched a new website, sbccalled.com. The website provides information, resources, and training for high school and college students who feel called to ministry. The site's 38 authors include several connected to North Greenville University (NGU).
"I think it's possibly the most helpful tool that the SBC has come up with to empower students who are exploring the 'call of God' on their lives," said NGU Director of Community Connection and Ministry Mobilization Joshua Gilmore ('05, MCM' 07).

SC Roads Get ‘D’ Grade as Major Repair Projects Remain Unfinished
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
South Carolina will need almost $43 billion more by 2040 to fix its bad roads and handle increased traffic with projected growth, according to the American Society of Civil Engineers, which gave the state’s roads a “D” grade in its annual infrastructure report card.
Meanwhile, the S.C. Department of Transportation continues to poke along in completing repaving and road reconstruction projects with $2 billion in revenues collected under the 2017 gas-tax-hike law – while sitting on a surplus that has surpassed $900 million, newly released agency records show.
The $903.5 million cash balance in a special fund created with the 2017 law was $226.3 million more than the total value of completed “pavements” projects statewide as of July 31, The Nerve found in a review of DOT records.

BJU Expanding School of Education
- By Randy Page - BJU
Bob Jones University President Steve Pettit announced today that the BJU School of Education is expanding its name to the School of Education and Human Services to better reflect its growing academic offerings.
“We’re adding to our programs in the Division of Educational, Child and Family Studies for students who want to work with children, youth and families outside a traditional classroom setting,” says Pettit.
New non-traditional program offerings prepare students to work in fields such as social and community services, youth sports and recreation, parent/family education, early care/child development, early intervention and special education services—fields which do not require teacher licensure. These programs provide opportunities to learn and serve in real-world settings guided by university and field-based mentors.

Texas Ensures All People, No Matter the Size, Deserve a Shot at Life
- By Eagle Forum
Pro-life allies across the country cheered as Texas signed into law a measure that protects the rights of the preborn. The Heartbeat Act, SB 8, took effect on September 1, 2021. It requires doctors to first search for a fetal heartbeat before performing an abortion. If a heartbeat is found, an abortion cannot be performed unless it is a medical emergency. In most cases, a fetal heartbeat is detected as early as 6 weeks gestational age.
The legislation allows any person the ability to sue an abortionist who violates the law, or anyone who aids or abets in an abortion. It’s important to note that these civil-liability provisions do not apply to the mother who desires or is able to maintain an unlawful abortion.
