Democrat Presidential Candidates Support Erasing Women
- By Eagle Forum
At the Democratic presidential debates this week, several of the candidates said that ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment was a top priority.
Let’s review why the American people rejected ERA 37 years ago today: because ERA would create a sex-neutral society that would erase women.
Phyllis Schlafly and her volunteer army of Eagles in Eagle Forum led the fight to stop this bad amendment to the U.S. Constitution then, and the same arguments apply now.

Taxpayer Tab for Volvo Deal Far Bigger Than Public Pronouncements
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
When S.C. officials announced in 2015 that Volvo would locate its first U.S. plant in rural Berkeley County, the total incentives offered to the Swedish car maker were pegged at about $200 million.

A Waste of SCOTUS Time
- By Eagle Forum
This past week, the Supreme Court dealt a blow to “PC” (politically correct) culture in a 7-2 reversal of the Fourth Circuit’s decision in American Legion v. American Humanist Association. The decision allows a 40-foot cross, erected in 1925 to honor WWI soldiers, to remain on public land in Bladensberg, Maryland and affirms that its existence does not violate the First Amendment's Establishment Clause.
