Parental Rights Amendment Introduced in Congress
- By Christian Newswire
WASHINGTON -- Rep. Debbie Lesko (AZ-8) and six original cosponsors today introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives a Parental Rights Amendment to the United States Constitution. The Amendment would enshrine the traditional liberty of parents to direct a child's upbringing, education, and care as a fundamental right.
Lesko, who heads the Protect Kids Caucus in the House, believes protecting this traditional role of parents is key to keeping children healthy and safe.

Christian Girls' Basketball Team Forfeits Tournament Game against School with Biological Male
- By Dan Hart - The Washington Stand
On Monday, it was reported that a Christian high school girls’ basketball team in Vermont forfeited a game in the fourth round of a state championship tournament when it was discovered that a biological male who identifies as a transgender female was on the opposing team’s roster. Experts are applauding the school’s decision, pointing to the physical dangers that male athletes pose to female athletes as well as the infringement on fair play that is created by allowing males to compete against females.
“We withdrew from the tournament because we believe playing against an opponent with a biological male jeopardizes the fairness of the game and the safety of our players,” said Vicky Fogg, who serves as Head of School at Mid Vermont Christian School (MVCS) in White River Junction. “Allowing biological males to participate in women’s sports sets a bad precedent for the future of women’s sports in general.”

As Train Derailments and Tensions with China Unfold, Experts See Crisis in U.S. Leadership
- By Dan Hart - The Washington Stand
As yet another massive train derailment unfolded in Nebraska on Tuesday in the wake of the controversial federal response to the derailment disaster that has engulfed East Palestine, Ohio, experts are seeing a connection between the responses to both East Palestine and the recent aggressive actions of the Chinese regime: failed and incompetent American leadership.
“It’s a disaster,” said Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.) on Wednesday’s edition of “Washington Watch with Tony Perkins.” “There again [in East Palestine], you have an administration that just checks a box. They don’t — [as] I always say — put the best players in, coach.”

- By Anne Schlafly Cori
Washington, D.C. has rules that require directors of child care centers need a bachelor’s degree in early education, teachers need an associate’s degree in early education, and assistant teachers and caregivers in home-based daycares need a Child Development Associate’s credential. In other words, grandma is not qualified to change a baby’s diaper.
This law was first passed in 2016, but upheld recently after years of litigation and the licensing requirement will go into effect at the end of this year.

Abortionists Create High-Priced Legal Defense Firms to Shield Pro-Aborts from the Law
- By Christian Newswire
NAPA, Calif. -- Pro-aborts have assembled a cadre of white-shoe legal defense firms to relieve them of their responsibilities under the law. Many of the firms in the newly created "Abortion Defense Network" have been shielding Planned Parenthood and other abortionists from liability for criminal activity, including selling the body parts of aborted babies, for decades. Their lawyers charge upwards of a thousand dollars an hour to ensure that abortionists can continue unabated in their murderous profession.
