Wild Hogs & Frogs—Remembering Tom Anderson, Patriot Extraordinaire

Ah yes, I remember him well! Tom Anderson, that is. Who, you may ask, was Thomas Jefferson Anderson (1910-2002)? Around fifty-six years ago I attended a meeting of The American Party in Lancaster, S.C. The speaker, Tom Anderson, was a man who had the reputation of being a “straight talker”. That reputation was well earned over his long life of 91 years, and from his birth in Nashville, Tennessee in 1910, including years of serving God and Country, he always strove to honor the spirit of our nation’s Founders. That long-ago talk of his that I attended included two of his favorite stories and although he was not their author, he used both of these stories constantly to hammer home his points that Americans were swiftly losing their freedoms because we were being “conned” into accepting “free stuff” that was leading to the loss of our Constitutional liberties. Let me recount both of those stories for you.

Freedom Will Never Be Free

As Americans we all should know that the cost of maintaining our freedoms—the liberties for which untold numbers of Americans have given their “last full measure of devotion” to defend--is always high and likely to get even more costly in the years ahead, as the powerful forces of collectivist tyranny clash, verbally and increasingly violently, with the forces of American Patriots determined to RESIST the diabolical agendas of those Marxist/collectivist devils (and their Democrat sycophants and co-conspirators) who are determined that they will prevail over us.
To begin, I’d like to share a touching poem written in 1981 by Kelly Strong:

Marie Dorion Really Had “True Grit”!

(I’m indebted to an article in the November/December 2018 Daughters of the American Revolution magazine, American Spirit, entitled: “On The Oregon Trail”, by Bill Hudgins, for first bringing to my attention the now almost forgotten American hero, Marie Aioe Dorion (ca. 1786-1850), and from which article I quote and paraphrase freely. Other sources from which I quote somewhat freely will be listed at the end of this article.)

This unique 64 or 65-year-old woman was buried beneath the altar inside the old wood-logged Roman Catholic church in St. Louis, Oregon on Sept. 6, 1850. This was undoubtedly a great honor at the time. Marie Aioe Dorion Venier Toupin (as she is identified by Wikipedia), was known in her latter years by her fellow settlers in the Willamette Valley in Oregon as “Madame Dorion”, and it was said that “she was looked up to and revered as an extraordinary woman, the oldest in the neighborhood, kindly, patient and devout”. Those “extraordinary” accomplishments of Marie Dorion were well known to many Americans of the 19th century, but except for a few history buffs, her name is virtually unknown today in the country that she helped open to the vast migration from east to west that occurred during most of the 19th century. Prior to the Hudgins article, I had never heard of her.

WISE MEN SEEKING JESUS, a poem by James T. East (1860-1937)
“Wise men seeking Jesus traveled from afar,
Guided in their journey by a wondrous star.
But if we desire Him, He is close at hand,
For our native country is our holy land.
Prayerful souls may find Him by our quiet lakes,
Meet Him on our hillsides when the dawning breaks.
In our fertile wheat fields where the sheaves are bound,
In our busy markets Jesus may be found.

Forgiveness From the Soul

Chapter 2-1
Debrala and Lee were startled when the video cube they were watching suddenly stopped. Bal had entered the room unnoticed, and was sitting beside a weeping Shana, doing his best to comfort her.
“It’s all right, Shanee, it’s all right,” assured her husband. “Let it out, love. Let it out,” he kept telling her, pulling her close to him. Leeamar, Shana’s grand daughter, was confused over her grandmother’s reaction to the video cube they were watching, and looked to her mother for an explanation. Tears were also falling down her mother’s cheeks, and Lee went to her.
“What is it, Mom? Why are you and Gramma crying? It was only a sad story. Wasn’t it?” asked the teen. Deb looked at Lee and took her hand.

Toma Lea’s Story: The Comfort of Sorrow

NOTE: This tale is an “amplification” of the two-part series: “The Parable of Konner Fuller”, excerpted from my unpublished book;, Shana of Mamooda, for the further clarification of events that happened (albeit fictitiously) in the life of Toma Jon Lea, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of The United Republics of the East, and later the President of that nation. Read Part 2 of that parable AFTER you’ve read this story.
CHAPTER 01
EXPLANATARY PROLOGUE-- A FLASHBACK IN TIME
In a far future year in the 28th century lived a man named Toma Jon Lea. At the time of this event he was the Supreme Commander of all of the armed forces of his nation, The United Republics of the East, or “Republica” as its citizens called it. By being thoroughly prepared for war with the deadly enemy of Republica, the Mamooden Protectorate, or “Mamooda” as everyone living on the Great Northern Continent called it, Supreme Commander Lea and his President had been able to keep the peace, but not without difficulty. The Triune God of eternity had even brought about what most people in Republica considered an answer to their long expressed prayers, for the once anti-Christian nation of Mamooda had been opened to God’s Word for the first time in hundreds of years, as Christian missionaries were slowly, and then increasingly welcomed into that nation.

How It All Began
NOTE: This “Parable of Konner Fuller”, Parts 1 & 2, is a lengthy excerpt from my unpublished book, Shana of Mamooda, and is published as an homage to our LORD JESUS, the “Master Teller Of
Parables.”
Before I begin this lesson, lets define the word “Parable”. According to Merriam-Webster Dictionary, a “PARABLE is a usually short, fictitious story that illustrates a moral attitude or a religious precept”.
Chapter 1-1
So, with that in mind, let me introduce you to:
THE PARABLE OF KONNER FULLER, RECORDED ON A VIDEO CUBE IN THE 28TH CENTURY BY TOMA JON LEA, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED REPUBLICS OF THE EAST (AKA REPUBLICA), FOR HIS PRESENT AND FUTURE FAMILY.

Is A New Constitutional Convention A Good Idea Or A Dangerous Threat To Our Existing Freedoms?
- Details

- Category: W.H. Lamb

For almost the past twenty years, Americans have been listening to the calls FOR a new Article V Constitutional Convention (or CON CON), which if called into existence by the U.S. Congress would be the FIRST CON CON since the original one that was held in Philadelphia in the summer of 1787. I’ve visited the Pennsylvania State House (now called Independence Hall) in Philadelphia twice over the years, and I’ve been in the vary Assembly Chamber wherein our present venerable Constitution was argued over, codified, and adopted. Both times it was a humbling experience. To be in the same large chamber in which so many of our Patriot forebears labored during the beastly hot Philadelphia summer, and see the ACTUAL and ORIGINAL “Rising Sun Chair” (made by John Folwell in 1779) on which George Washington sat as President of the Convention was very special to my wife and me each time.

WHY DON’T OUR SORRY POLITICIANS OBEY OUR CONSTITUTION?

There’s a lot of confusion in the world of politics and purposeful misinformation regarding the meanings of the words: NULLIFICATION and SECESSION. Talking heads on TV, radio, and in the cyber realm love to assure us that the words mean essentially the same thing, and are “dangerous concepts” that must be avoided if free nations are to survive. If you believe that, I’ve got a beautiful, “slightly used” bridge presently located in Brooklyn, N.Y. that I’ll sell you real cheap. Yeah, I really will!

Are Firearms “Evil,” or Is It Our Culture That Is Evil?

I’ve long been an advocate of maintaining an INDIVIDUAL’S right to keep and bear arms to defend one’s self or one’s family, or one’s property, a God-given “right” codified in our Second Amendment to our Federal Constitution, which is usually attacked by liberals, timid know-nothings who believe that even discussing firearms might prove fatal, Dumbocrats, Demoncrats, whacky “moon bats”, firearms haters, freedom despising socialist “progressives”, despicable Marxists, and mentally confused and poorly educated morons who love to parrot the left wing line that our Second Amendment is NOT an individual right, as are ALL other rights enumerated in the Bill of Rights, but applies only to the “collective right” of the PEOPLE to keep and bear arms aspart of a State militia. This is totalBalderdash! I’ve long supported Gun Owners of America, an organization that many 2nd Amendment upholders believe has been more effective than the National RifleAssociation. If those facts make me “persona non grata” in your mind, perhaps it is you who need to vacuum out some of the inaccuracies therein and begin reloading it with TRUTH!

THE CONCLUSION OF A MULI-PART “LECTURE” BY A FICTIONAL “HISTORY PROFESSOR” TO A CLASS OF YOUNG ADULTS SOMETIME IN THE 32nd CENTURY.

“We’ve about come to the conclusion of these forays into man’s inhumanity to his fellow man. Had we been able only to concentrate on one war, or on a decade of two of insanity, we might have attempted to partly understand the abominable behaviors of many of our ancestors. But what is unjustifiable, to my mind at least, is that this “behavior”—this desire to enslave and brutalize and control one’s fellow human beings—lasted for over 400 years, from the onset of the Civil War in the Old United States, ca. 2030 A.D., to the glorious forming of a free and Christian country named The Republic of Gorga-Caro in the early years of the 25th century, a country that arose out of the ashes of the former Confederated Republics of America, and the unnamed small and temporary tyrannies that occupied the former borders of that once-illustrious and noble nation.

THE GLORIES OF CLASSICAL MUSIC CAN CHANGE PEOPLE! HEREIN WE DELVE INTO ITS ALMOST OTHER WORLDLY MYSTIQUE AND HOW IT AFFECTED THE LIVES OF FOUR LEGENDARY SYMPHONY CONDUCTORS
If you’ve read any of my articles over many years here in this great journal of truth, you’ll know that I have a great affinity—a great and undying love---for “Classical Music” in all its many forms. It is now, and always will be, my music of choice, always welcoming me in times when I want to relax, to unwind my thoughts, to escape from the problems and pressures and concerns that “mankind” has wrought upon this planet, to retreat from the joys and sorrows, the aches and pains, or from the mundane and ordinary events of modern American life—to—in essence—enter into a temporary “existence”—somewhere, somehow—with the minds of the musical “immortals” who will always live on the “Mount Olympus” of great music—music that has endured, and will continue to endure, for centuries, God willing.

James Patterson’s Journal—The Story of The Congregation of Andria Church During The Dark Time (Patterson’s Tale #12)
(NOTE: Click HERE to read the previous CIVILIZATION’S INTERREGNUM columns.)
JAMES PATTERSON IS RESCUED AND NURSED BACK TO HEALTH BY FELLOW JESUS FOLLOWERS. HE BEGINS TO WRITE HIS JOURNAL AND PLAN FOR THE FUTURE OF THE SURVIVORS OF ANDRIA CHURCH.
“When I awoke it was daylight, and I found myself in the small cottage that belonged to Han and Mila Tempal, two of our Jesus Sect members. Their cottage was far into the forest and away from the normal foot traffic, but they had been searching for any fellow Jesus Sect members who had managed to escape the carnage, admitting to me that they had been too afraid to come to the church service the previous night. They had been doing what they could to tend to my wounds. Fortunately, Mila was one of those who helped birth the babies of our women, and she had a fair amount of medical skills and some basic medicines for treating wounds. She already had my shoulder and leg bandaged, but told me she didn’t have the skill to do much for the stab wound in my back, which fortunately had not punctured my lung. She had managed to stop the bleeding and had put what medicine she had into the wound, and was bandaging it just as I regained consciousness. I thanked her for her help, then told them about the carnage I had witnessed. They already knew all about it, however, and the three of us wept for my family that had been killed, and also for all of our friends whom we would never see again in this life.

PRECIOUS RELICS FROM THE PAST COME TO LIGHT FOR THE FIRST, AND LAST, TIME FOR SOME OF THE PEOPLE OF ANDRIA VILLAGE
“Pastor Lee stopped beside one of the old fireplaces—the one on the left as the room was entered, and explained that soon after he had come to Andria with his family in 2372 he had shown Pastor Torash these objects. Both of these men had then worked on installing a secret hiding compartment next to this fireplace, so these objects could be preserved into the future. He counted down exactly 16 bricks from the top inside brick on the left side of the fireplace. Next to very old wood paneling that had been on the walls longer than anyone knew, Lee used his battle knife to pry away that brick from the others, revealing a small metal ring, which he pulled. Suddenly a part of the wood paneling snapped open, revealing a compartment about 6 feet high and 3 feet wide. Inside were the objects that Lee wanted us to see.

Is The U.S.A. A Land of Bad Government Or A Land of Good People?

Much of what follows in this article was inspired by a great brochure I recently read, titled: “Back to Basics” (Timeless Truths Series) published by The John Birch Society, to which my wife and I have belonged for many decades. Although I’ve written on this subject previously in The Times Examiner, this information—this discussion of foundational principles—is so important that much of it bears repeating and restudying, for we have been living for generations in a nation whose government has shamelessly, purposely, and seemingly without fear of resistance from our people, ABANDONED the Constitutionalform of government set up for our REPUBLIC (not a DEMOCRACY) by the wisdom of our Founders back in 1787. If that statement is true, as I fear it is, then TRIPLE SHAME on “We, the so-called American People” for callously and carelessly allowing this to happen!

Is The U.S. Doomed To Sink? A “Titanic” Question
- Details

A long time ago (actually in 1956, my second year in university—which is a ‘long time ago’ for sure), I took a public speaking class. I really enjoyed that class, and I’ve done a fair amount of public speaking since those days, an activity that I do enjoy. One of the class assignments was to come up with a “proposal” to accomplish something unusual or difficult, or both. Searching for a suitable topic, I suddenly came up with a “eureka--I have found it” moment (with a ‘tip of the hat’ to the ancient Sicilian philosopher, Archimedes—c. 287 B.C.-212 B.C.). I had recently been reading, for my very first time, about the loss of the passenger liner, RMS Titanic in 1912. What better “unusual” topic could there be, in those halcyon days of 1956, then to come up with a proposal to “RAISE THE TITANIC”? It became my talk’s title.
