Democrats, Not 'Democracy,' at Risk Today
- By Pat Buchanan
"Make no mistake -- democracy is on the ballot for us all."
So declaiming in his Union Station speech to the nation on the real stakes in the 2022 elections, President Joe Biden, who was immediately echoed by Barack Obama, painted himself and his party into a corner.
For if Trump Republicans carry the day Tuesday, Biden will have to declare, if there is any consistency left in him, a "defeat for democracy" and a victory for the party that he has said is steeped in "semi-fascism."

According to Eric Zuesse, writing in Strategic Culture (September 5, 2016), in 2011, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was tasked by President Obama to overthrow the democratically elected President of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovych, and Syrian President Bashar-al-Assad in Syria by means of “color revolutions.” Color revolutions are opportunistic regime changes by “popular revolutions,” which are clandestinely planned, directed, and financed by CIA sources, often assisted by the British MI6 foreign intelligence services. The CIA Director at that time was John Brennan. John Kerry replaced Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State in February 2013. The objective of such color revolutions is supposedly to spread the rule of democratic government.

De-energizing Europe: A warning for America
- By The New American
Europe is shutting down on all fronts. A rabid fixation on Russian president Vladimir Putin and unhinged fear of climate change have set the stage for self-inflicted deindustrialization, hunger, and cold.
My own country, the Netherlands, is a sad example. We own the largest gas field in Europe, Groningen, but a few years ago began winding down production. Gas extraction had caused minor earthquakes that damaged a few homes. Instead of using gas profits to pay for repairs, the government decided to make the Netherlands “climate friendly.”

Federal District Court Orders Ann Arbor Public Schools to Stop Silencing Student's Announcement about Proposal 3 -- Michigan's Radical Abortion Referendum
ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Finding that Skyline High School sought "to silence Plaintiffs' appropriate speech as to Proposal 3," Federal District Court Judge, Paul D. Borman, on November 4, ordered the school to read the conservative senior and Republican Club President's statement "over the Skyline High School's public address service during ordinary announcements on Monday, November 7, 2022." The Court granted the Plaintiffs' request for a Temporary Restraining Order once the announcement was modified to meet the Court's concern. Nevertheless, despite Skyline's continued objection to the modified announcement, the Court ordered the following announcement to be read:
Groover Unqualified

The Probate Court handles some of the most important and sensitive issues in anyone’s life so the qualities that we should want in our Probate Judge are integrity, attention to detail, and how they treat others. Based on my experience with Chad Groover – I can attest that he shouldn’t be a judge.
Pro-Life Centers 22 Times More Likely to be Attacked Than Abortion Facilities: Study
- By Ben Johnson - The Washington Stand
During a caustic speech in Washington’s crime-ridden Union Station Wednesday night, President Joe Biden declared all people of goodwill “must unite to make it absolutely clear that violence and intimidation have no place in America.” He could begin by protecting pro-life advocates, who are 22 times more likely to suffer violent attacks than abortion facilities, a new study has found.
Vandals and domestic terrorists attacked pro-life churches and pregnancy resource centers 135 times between May 3, when a still-unknown party leaked the Supreme Court’s Dobbs ruling, and September 24. Researchers verified six attacks on abortion facilities during the same period. “The bottom line is that after the Dobbs decision was leaked, there was over 22 times more violence directed against pro-life groups than pro-choice organizations,” said the study, performed by the Crime Prevention Research Center (CPRC).
Remembering November 11, 1938: The Day That “God Blessed America”
- By W.H. Lamb
![God will God will](/images/God-Bless-American-Graphic.jpg)
One of the benefits of living a long time is that a person can mentally retrieve many recollections of people and places and events that were significant to him and to many others, once upon a time. More and more I find myself drawn to an era and its unique remembrances that has just about disappeared from our people’s mental histories, a time that is almost as unknown to today’s younger Americans as the time of our great-grandparents was unknown to us. That time, for me, was the World War 11 era, from the late 1930’s up through the late-1950’s. That was my “golden age”, and those who shared those end-of-depression and war-ravaged, yet in so many ways, halcyon years with me know that in many respects it was a much different, and far better, country then compared to the one in which we live today.

La-La Land Ignores Supply-and-Demand
- By Anne Schlafly Cori, Eagle Forum Chairman
Now that California has passed a state-wide ban on the sale of gasoline-powered cars, which goes into effect in 13 years, climate activists are energized to eradicate this very efficient fuel. Their new target is gas stations. So far, eight California cities have banned the construction of new gas stations in their communities, which illustrates what's wrong when the heavy hand of government gets in the way of consumer demand and private development.
The climate activists think that “no gas, then no fuel for gas-guzzlers, then no change in climate.”

EXCLUSIVE: Call for Prayer Vigil Around Pro-Life Centers on Election Night
- By Ben Johnson - The Washington Stand
After multiple federal intelligence agencies warned of a “heightened threat” of violent attacks against people involved in abortion or family issues, the CEO of a firebombed pregnancy center is asking Christians to hold a prayerful vigil outside pro-life institutions on election night and the next evening.
In an October 28 memo, the Department of Homeland Security, FBI, National Counterterrorism Center, and U.S. Capitol stated that domestic violent extremists show an increase likelihood of targeting their “ideological opponents.” Extremists have already “levied violent threats targeting elected officials, individuals associated with abortion or LGBTQ+ issues, and facilities, locations, and organizations perceived as taking a stance on abortion or LGBTQ+ issues.”
The State of America Makes Midterm Choices Clear
- By Adriana Cohen
During a debate with Jimmy Carter in 1980, Ronald Reagan famously asked, "Are you better off today than you were four years ago?" Which is a sensible and basic question that's been asked in political races ever since -- and next week's midterm elections are no different.
As Americans head to the polls on Tuesday, one ought to consider if you, your family or your business is better off today under Democrat control of one's state and one-party rule in Washington, or not. Unless you like paying significantly higher prices for essential items like food, gas, rent, heating bills and just about everything else, I suspect the answer is no.
The Supreme Court Hears Two Cases on Affirmative Action
- By Eagle Forum
Affirmative Action on the Rocks
The Supreme Court heard oral arguments this week on the role that race plays in college admissions. The organization Students for Fair Admissions sued Harvard College and the University of North Carolina (UNC) claiming that these schools discriminate against certain groups of people based on race. Both schools give preference to applicants that are African American, Native American, and Hispanic, but not to White or Asian students. The two cases, Students for Fair Admissions v. Harvard and Students for Fair Admissions v. University of North Carolina were heard separately due to one school being private and the other public.
