20 Years: The Murder of LA Sheriff's Deputy David March
- By Michelle Malkin
Two decades ago this spring, I was furiously pounding out the manuscript to "Invasion," my very first book on the systemic failures of immigration enforcement in America. On April 29, 2002, as if to underscore the bloody consequences of open borders that I had been compiling, a violent illegal alien repeat criminal offender named Jorge Arroyo (aka Armando) Garcia assassinated Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputy David March during a routine traffic stop in Irwindale, California.
The Times Examiner Mourns Its Matriarch
- By The Times Examiner
The Times Examiner is sad to report that its biggest supporter LaVerle Griffin Dill, 88, passed away May 28, 2022, at her home.
LaVerle was not only the Office Manager of The Times Examiner, but she was also its birthing mother alongside her husband and Publisher Colonel Bob M. Dill. Her warm greeting and lovely smile greeted visitors as they entered The Times Examiner. You could not get to anyone in the office without passing her office laced with Beanie Babies, goodies, and her approval. She was The Times Examiner's and her husband's biggest supporter.
She called The Times Examiner her greatest ministry alongside her husband and all those who were involved from the staff to its volunteers, and right down to its readers, even its enemies. To her, it was a calling and a duty even when it was tiresome with its struggles, time-consuming late nights, and sacrifice. She and her husband Bob Dill were more dedicated to the calling than anyone involved. It was their baby and God blessed it as such.
Hundreds Turn Out To Hear From County Council Candidate Benton Blount
- By Terry M. Thacker
At least 300 people turned out on Memorial Day at Trailblazer Park in Travelers Rest to support professional musician Benton Blount in his run for the Greenville County Council District 19 seat, which is currently held by insurance agent and council chairman Willis Meadows.
In addition to Blount and Meadows, two other candidates are running in the Republican primary – Ivan Mathena, director of business development at Paper Cutters Inc. and retired state trooper Jackie M. Clark. Other than Meadows, the other three are newcomers to politics.
Gun Laws Will Not Fix a Problem of Culture and Spirit
- By Star Parker
Once again, the nation has witnessed a horrible, pointless act of violence, with innocent children the victims.
And, once again, we hear from liberals that the answer is gun control.
If we look at what generally characterizes the mindset of those -- generally young men -- who commit these acts, we see what generally characterizes the mindset that has taken hold of our whole culture.
Victimhood, blame and denial of personal responsibility.
Size Does Matter
- By Anne Schlafly Cori, Chairman, Eagle Forum
In a centrally planned economy, all outcomes are the same and consumer demand is meaningless. You want two-ply toilet paper? Sorry, this month we only produced one-ply. Even though the principles of capitalism are obvious, even capitalists are tempted to join the communists and proclaim their belief in equality of outcomes.
Last year, Old Navy clothing company made a bold announcement: all the same products at all the same price — regardless of size. It has been a disaster. Under the banner of "inclusivity", Old Navy removed their petites and plus-size departments, and then offered every pattern in all sizes from XS to 4X. Clothing cannot be easily sized up or sized down and still look attractive. Old Navy sold out its middle sizes, but since they made each and every size for all their stores to display, they were left with quantities of tiny and large clothing — which were comically offered at all the same price. The demands of Equity do not allow for fashion. Under communism, you must wear what the factory produces.
House GOP Trust-busting Bill Is an Economic Disaster
- By Stephen Moore
With President Joe Biden's Build Back Better agenda in ruins, Democrats want to blame Big Business for the mayhem of high inflation and a collapsing stock market.
The White House has pointed its finger at every industry, from Big Tech to meat producers, oil and gas producers, the poultry industry and pharmaceutical companies. Apparently, corporate America suddenly became incredibly greedy when Biden entered office.
Now another move against capitalism is in the works.
The 2020 Census and the Transformation of the South
- By Mike Scruggs
The Democrat Party’s Immigration Road to Dominance
In 2004, the Republican Presidential candidate George W. Bush carried every Southern and Border State except Maryland. He carried Texas with 61 percent, Georgia with 58 percent, North Carolina with 56 percent, Virginia with 54 percent, and Florida with 52 percent.
In 1972, Richard Nixon had carried Texas with 66 percent, Georgia with 76 percent, North Carolina with almost 70 percent, Virginia with 68 percent, and Florida with 72 percent. The South had been a bastion for conservative Republican support.
“Q”: Quack, Quisling, or Conspiracy Theory? - Part 2
- By W.H. Lamb
Has “Q” Finally Been Identified?
Last time I discussed what has been called the “Q” Phenomenon, and I reviewed a brief history of a topic that has, or at least had, much of the country conjecturing about just who “Q” really was, and what were his/their motives. We also opened the “sensitive” (to many “Q” fans) topic of how American patriots should define “Q”—considering that he (they) hasn’t posted any more drops since December 8, 2020, and considering the poor “track record” of the accuracy of all those posts. So is “Q” a quack, a quisling, or are we dealing with “conspiracy theory”—OR a true conspiracy for good or ill-- OR an actual force for freedom in this rapidly disintegrating nation? Making a call on this is fraught with many questions, more than a few suspicions of “Q’s” motivation, and a realization that a satisfactory explanation that will satisfy all my readers is well nigh impossible. So let me give you my conjectures and a somewhat “educated opinion”.
State Farm Bales on Full Apology
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
There's an old saying that the only things in the middle of the highway are yellow stripes and roadkill. State Farm is finding that out, four days into a raging PR disaster of their own making. To no one's surprise but theirs, Americans didn't respond too kindly when the insurance company was caught dishing out transgender books to five-year-old kids. Angry customers started ringing agents' phones off the hook, asking what the devil they were doing wading into the LGBT debate. Headquarters blinked. But instead of touching the hot stove and backing away, State Farm got burned by another mistake: believing it could please both sides.
The Trouble With Do-Somethingism on Guns
- By David Harsanyi
Before we even knew how the killer of 19 children and two adults at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, had obtained his guns, Sen. Chris Murphy was engaging in his customary performative emotionalism on the Senate floor, literally begging Republicans to "compromise."
Compromise on what exactly? Murphy has never once offered a single proposal that would have deterred any of these mass shooters. Literally minutes after his routine, Murphy was asked about the obvious mental illness prevalent among most of these shooters. "Spare me the bulls--- about mental illness," the Connecticut senator responded, "ripping" the GOP. "We don't have any more mental illness than any other country in the world." That's how serious he is about compromise.
Feds Pushing Liberal Investment Schemes in Local Government, Business Sectors
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
The Biden administration and Democratic-controlled U.S. House collectively have been focusing on local municipalities, publicly traded companies and private retirement plans to promote the environmental, social and governance movement that is popular among liberal groups, records show.
Republican state and federal officials in South Carolina are opposing those efforts, contending, among other things, that mandating ESG factors will hurt taxpayers, businesses and individuals financially.
Critics say ESG scores are being used by banks, investment and accounting firms, and credit rating agencies to grade companies on how well they have adopted certain liberal values or policies, such as reducing the effects of climate change, increasing diversity on their governing boards, and supporting social justice causes.
Are All Men Created Equal?
- By Pat Buchanan
Ideology is political religion, said the conservative sage Russell Kirk.
And what is the defining dogma of the political religion, or ideology, of America in 2022?
Is it not that, "All men are created equal"?
Yet, as with every religion, a basic question needs first to be asked and answered about this defining dogma of liberal ideology.
WHO Withdraws 12 of Biden’s “Sovereignty” Amendments to IHR; May Revisit Them Later
- By Veronika Kyrylenko - The New American
The global backlash against the proposed amendments to the WHO’s International Health Treaty (IHR) — which would have ceded national sovereignty over to globalists — along with legal actions in the United Kingdom have resulted in almost all of those amendments being dropped for the time being. There is nothing, however, to prevent the global overlords from revisiting the agenda.
According to independent journalist James Roguski, who monitored the hearings, 12 of the 13 amendments submitted by the Biden administration for a vote in the World Health Assembly (WHA) this week in Geneva have been removed from consideration.

Finding a Path in a Plague of Evil
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
Two more days, and the classrooms would have been empty. Parents would be at home, going over lists for summer camp or rubbing sunblock on those small faces at the pool. They wouldn't be reliving the moment they dropped their sons and daughters off at school, kissing them goodbye for what would be the last time. They wouldn't be waking up in the rawest pain of their lives, empty bedrooms down the hall. And they wouldn't be consumed by the guilt that if they'd just kept their kids home that day, none of this would have happened.

102 Georgia Counties Can't Produce Drop Box Videos -- VoterGA Issues Demand Letter to State Election Board
- By VoterGA
ATLANTA -- VoterGA announced today their drop box video survey team determined that 102 Georgia counties were unable to produce drop box surveillance videos from the November 2020 election. The team obtained admissions from 72 counties that all of the videos intended to monitor drop boxes for ballot trafficking were destroyed. VoterGA volunteers made the determinations by submitting Open Records Requests (ORR) for the videos from each county. Thus, video monitoring is missing for 181,507 cast ballots.
At a November 9, 2021 press conference, VoterGA announced that their ballot image analysis team determined at least 70 Georgia counties were unable to produce all the original ballot images from the November 2020 election. Digital ballot images are created automatically by the Dominion voting system for results tabulation. The team obtained admissions from 56 counties that most or all of their ballot images were unavailable. A total of 1.7 million images were destroyed.
Open Doors Calls on Biden Administration to Re-Assign Nigeria to Notable List of Countries Violating Religious Freedoms
- By Open Doors USA
Violence against Christians in Nigeria, including the recently reported news of Christian college student's horrific murder, has continued unabated since the nation was removed last year
WASHINGTON-- In the six months since the Biden administration removed Nigeria from its list of "Countries of Particular Concern" (CPC)—which identifies those in severe violations of religious freedom—religious violence has continued to surge across the region. Last week's gruesome stoning and burning of Nigerian Christian college student, Deborah Samuel, by extremist classmates who accused her of blasphemy, made international news and shocked the world. According to Open Doors' local sources, before she was attacked, Samuel posted a message in a WhatsApp group saying, "Jesus Christ is the greatest. He helped me pass my exams." That simple message led to her death.
Food Crisis Being Engineered by the Deep State
- By Alex Newman - The New American
Catastrophic food shortages and even famine are being engineered by the Deep State in a bid to centralize control over the food supply and ultimately the population of the planet, warns The New American magazine's Alex Newman in this episode of Behind The Deep State. Key globalist Deep State operatives such as Henry "New World Order" Kissinger have flirted with the idea of food shortages as a population-control weapon for generations. The goals are clear. And now, thanks to deliberate policy decisions taken by Deep State-controlled governments and organizations, a true food crisis of global proportions is emerging. Newman also provides ideas on how to deal with the coming threat--before it's too late. You will want to share this one with your friends and family!
Sabotaging America's Military From Within
- By Michelle Malkin
A year ago this month, a comparison of military recruitment ads from China, Russia and the U.S. went viral on social media. Our foreign competitors wooed their potential enlistees with muscular appeals to national pride and protection of the traditional nuclear family. A U.S. Army promotional campaign, by contrast, featured a pastel-hued cartoon depiction of a female soldier named "Emma" who marched in a gay pride parade with her two mothers and became a soldier to "shatter some stereotypes."
The State of Black America
- By Star Parker
I am so pleased and proud that the first annual edition of the "State of Black America" (Encounter Books), published by my organization, CURE, Center for Urban Renewal and Education, in conjunction with the Claremont Institute has just been released.
CURE was founded to provide a platform for an alternative vision of what "Black America" is about and what the real challenges are of our citizens of color.
Heretofore, the left has dominated the discussion concerning Black Americans. The left has dominated the discussion to such an extent that too many Americans of all backgrounds believe that the view from the left captures all chapter and verse of who Black Americans are and what ideas and policies will best serve them.
