Two Appointments the GOP Should Cancel
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
It's usually an administration's cabinet nominations that get the most attention -- but two senators are making the case that Joe Biden's deputy picks may be the most controversial of the bunch. Is the president trying to slip in his most radical nominees under Americans' noses? And just how much power do the seconds-in-command at HHS and the State Department have over abortion and transgender policy? Too much, Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) warn.
Arkansas Passes First State Ban on Abortion Recognizing it as a Crime Against Humanity and Accepting Every Unwanted Child
- By Christian Newswire
SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- Allan E. Parker, President of The Justice Foundation, who represents thousands of women hurt by abortion states, "SB 6 is an excellent vehicle for improving the health and safety of women in Arkansas and moving towards a more just and humane society. Since Arkansas already has a Safe Haven law, as does every other state in the nation, no woman in Arkansas will have to take care of an unwanted child when the bill becomes effective. Senator Rapert and Representative Mary Bentley's SB 6 is an excellent vehicle for challenging the Supreme Court's current view on Roe v. Wade, Doe v. Bolton, and Planned Parenthood v. Casey. The freedom of Roe can be preserved now for women without its human cost – killing children and injuring women.
Wade Hampton: Southern Gentleman - First in a Series
- By Bob Dill - Publisher of The Times Examiner
A high school and a major highway in Greenville County, South Carolina carries the name of Wade Hampton. A statue of the man, larger than life mounted on a horse, stands proudly on the grounds of the South Carolina State Capitol. Members of the Hampton-Lee Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy (UDC) honor his memory in the Upstate to this day. Yet few South Carolinians and virtually no newcomers to the state and region know very much about this historical figure, his contributions and sacrifices and ultimately, the impact his life has had on the history of the Palmetto State.
Pushing The Great Reset
- By William F. Jasper - The New American
As a senator, Joe Biden wrote an op-ed called “How I Learned to Love the New World Order.” Now, as president, he is showing his love for the NWO and his hatred for the Constitution he has sworn to defend.
On April 23, 1992, the Wall Street Journal published an op-ed from then-Senator Joe Biden entitled “How I Learned to Love the New World Order.” In that piece, Biden extolled “collective security” through the United Nations and called for arming the UN with a “permanent commitment of forces for use by the Security Council.” “Why not breathe life into the U.N. Charter?” Biden asked, not mentioning that the same life-breathing action for the UN Charter would mean toxic death for the U.S. Constitution, which he has taken an oath (repeatedly) to uphold and defend. Not to mention that it would also be the death knell for American sovereignty, independence — and freedom.
The Nuking of the American Nuclear Family
- By Michelle Malkin
"Gay poly throuple makes history, lists 3 dads on a birth certificate." That's an actual headline from The New York Post, which last week featured an unsettling trio of men who recruited two female friends to help them conceive and deliver a baby girl named Piper.
Piper is now 3 years old and has a 1-year-old brother named Parker. According to the "gay poly throuple," Piper told her preschool classmates how proud she was of her plentiful progenitors by bragging: "You have two parents. I have three parents."
What's Causing America's Baby Bust?
- By Star Parker
When the COVID-19 pandemic started and lockdowns became part of our daily lives, some romantic souls were predicting that this would produce a baby boom.
Now, as the data shows up, we see exactly the opposite.
CBS obtained data from health departments in over two dozen states that shows "a 7% drop in births in December -- nine months after the first lockdowns began."

Evangelicals for Biden Lose Faith in Joe
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
They can't say they weren't warned. Everyone in America knew where Joe Biden stood on abortion -- because he told them. In 13 debates, multiple campaign ads, and a Planned Parenthood townhall, no one had any doubt that if this man won the White House, his folksy faith talk would take a backseat to his political deal with the far-Left. If Evangelicals for Biden want to say they never saw this COVID bill and its abortion funding coming, then they were the only ones.
The Emerging Existential Crisis at the Border
- By Pat Buchanan
During a Democratic debate in 2020, the candidates were asked if their health care plans would cover "undocumented immigrants."
Each raised his or her hand, including front-runner Joe Biden.
From that stage, the message went forth: If the Democrats win this election, then it is amnesty for all and open borders in America.
Real Memories of the Civil War
- By Mike Scruggs
Greene County, Arkansas
My mother, Wanda Bradsher Scruggs, passed away in 2007 at the age of 91, but a few years before that she shared with me some memories of the Civil War and Reconstruction related to her by her grandparents, Jack and Cindy Ross Bradsher. My mother was the daughter of the youngest of their seven sons, W. C. Bradsher. Jack and Cindy Bradsher also had four daughters. Both the Bradsher and the Ross families were farmers whose parents had come to northeastern Arkansas in covered wagons in the late 1850’s. The Bradsher family had come from North Carolina, and the Ross family had come from Kentucky. Jack Bradsher, being a hard worker, very astute, and affable became a very successful farmer whose sons became successful community leaders in medicine, pharmacy, farming, business, education, and the ministry. Jack Brandisher’s farm was near Marmaduke, Arkansas, about 9 miles from Missouri and named for Confederate General, John S. Marmaduke, who later became Governor of Missouri. Both my mother and father grew up in Paragould, Arkansas, a larger town about 12 miles south of Marmaduke.
You Might Be A Liberal If …
- By W.H. Lamb
In the Year of our Lord, 2021, our American nation finds itself (well, at least its citizens do) virtually split down the middle over “politics”; more specifically split down the middle between those who call themselves “conservatives”, who honor and respect the “old ways” of freedom under law, and limited government, that were codified by our Founders in our Constitution and transmitted to all of mankind through the centuries by God’s Eternal Word (our Holy Bible), and those who call themselves modern “liberals” (both theological and political), who essentially reject almost everything that conservatives believe in and honor—especially limited Constitutional government and Biblical Christianity.
The Democrats Are The Agents of Hell
- By Frank Raddish - Founder/Director Capitol Hill Independent Baptist Ministries
Joe (Ahab) Biden and Kamala (Jezebel) Harris are more dangerous to our national security than either Russia or China. The reason is that they are systematically destroying America’s financial, moral, and cultural foundations with the help of their Marxist troops.
First of all, this new 1.9 trillion-dollar Covid relief measure in Congress, which is wholeheartedly backed by Biden, is fiscally irresponsible and it could later become a hangman's noose around our nation’s financial neck. This Covid relief bill has more Porky the Pig (oink, oink, oink[!]) in it than actual help for the American people. The Covid relief checks the people need is the opportunity to open up their businesses, get back to work, and open the schools for children to once again attend.
New Report Reveals Alarming Rise in Trafficking, Forced Marriage of Christian Women and Girls Globally

"Same Faith, Different Persecution," published ahead of International Women's Day, explores targeted Gender-Specific Religious Persecution (GSRP) over 12 months between October 2019 – September 2020.
House Targets Budget Law for Repeal; Other Old Laws Remain Untouched
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
In South Carolina, it’s still illegal to challenge someone to a duel with a sword, pistol or other deadly weapon.
Other laws on the books that date to the last century or earlier ban such things as, for example:
- Robbing a train after stopping it;
- Swindling in card or dice games;
- Committing adultery or fornication; and
- Operating dance halls on Sundays
Although a number of old laws are no longer observed or enforced, lawmakers have done relatively little in recent years to revise or repeal them. But they’re moving quickly now to eliminate a longstanding law that they routinely have ignored but which supporters say would provide greater transparency in the state budget process.
SALTY Sez – Are You Equal?
- By Ray Simmons
The Equality Act just passed by the Democratic House does everything to prove that you, the average American citizen, are not equal to the elitists running the country. I don’t know details but I’m sure it points out that Christians can’t come up to the proper standards. If you know anything you must know that individuals are born unequal. God has seen fit to create everyone, and everything different. This way the world is populated with great variety. It is this variety that has allowed mankind to move up the ladder in ways that would have never happened had humanity been equalized creatively.
No, Virginia, ERA is NOT in the Constitution
- By Eagle Forum
Alton, IL – D.C. federal district court judge Rudolf Contreras, an Obama appointee, put yet another nail in the coffin of the long-dead Equal Rights Amendment.
Contreras held that Congress acted within its power when it imposed a seven-year deadline for ratification when the Amendment passed in 1972. In so ruling, Contreras has derailed ERA advocates’ recent effort to revive the Amendment. “The Court will not pull the rug out from under Congress’s long-accepted practice of declaring ratification conditions in a proposing resolution’s preamble based on a technicality,” wrote Contreras.
COVID Bill Is Asymptomatic of Relief
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
Joe Biden said he wanted to meet Republicans halfway on COVID relief. If that's the case, Senator John Kennedy (R-La.) fired back, he's a darn poor judge of distance. "This bill is dreadful," he vented. "It's an orgy of pork... The only way I know how to improve it is with a shredder."
Of course, the American people wouldn't know how awful the $1.9 trillion dollar money pit is because it's had no hearings, no committee debate, no "overt party discussions," Senator Kevin Cramer (R-N.D.) reminded everyone on "Washington Watch" Wednesday. The media friends of Biden would have covered it favorable as it was, but now, they're not even covering much at all. Our job, Republicans have said, is to expose the bill for what it is.
The Collegian Staff Wins SCPA Awards
- By Randy Page - BJU
The South Carolina Press Association (SCPA) recognized staff members of Bob Jones University’s student newspaper, The Collegian, with multiple awards for 2020. Both individual staff members and The Collegian staff in its entirety were honored.
While winners were announced last week, the SCPA will present the awards at its annual meeting later this year.
Constitutional Convention Is Not the Solution to Big Government
- By Steve Byas
Millions of Americans are understandably frustrated at the inexorable growth of governmental power, especially at the federal level. This frustration has caused many to look for solutions, many of which will either do nothing or have the potential to make the problem worse—much worse.
The proposal for a constitutional convention to supposedly rein in the out-of-control federal behemoth is the greatest example of the latter. In fact, calling a national convention to change our Constitution in our present toxic atmosphere could very well provide the final blow to our constitutional republic. As the late Justice Antonin Scalia once told the Federalist Society, in reference to the push for such a convention, this is a bad century in which to write a Constitution.
Christian Leaders ask President Biden to Support Israel and Combat Anti-Semitism
- By Christian Newswire
WASHINGTON -- On Wednesday, March 3, 2021, American Christians Leaders for Israel (ACLI), representing hundreds of Christian leaders, sent a letter to President Biden proposing a number of guiding principles that ACLI sees as significant for his administration regarding the security of the United States, Israel, and the Jewish people.
As an Industry Faces Destruction, It Grows a Voting Coalition
- By Salena Zito
FRIEDENS, Pennsylvania -- Imagine if you had a job. A good job, one that required skill and critical thinking and had a broad impact in the community where you lived. A job you didn't just show up to do. It was a job you were good at, and because of it, you were able to provide a roof over your family's head, put your children through college or help pay for their wedding, and once a year, it gave you the ability to carve out a week or two to take the family on vacation.
Eagle Forum Endorses Effort to Defend Children from Irreversible Damage
- By Eagle Forum
The House of Representatives passed the Equality Act last week which forwards their gender-bending sexual orientation and gender identity ideology. Eagle Forum has long warned against SOGI, especially its potential to irrevocably harm children.
Schools are circumventing parental rights in the classroom by advocating and pushing SOGI ideology on children. Many schools teach SOGI and allow children of the opposite sex to use single-sex restrooms, locker rooms, and sports teams. An increasing number of organizations, like Planned Parenthood, are also advocating for “gender-affirming care”, which means irreversible hormone therapy and surgical sex reassignments. Children who struggle with gender dysphoria often resolve their dysphoria if allowed to mature naturally. The puberty blockers and surgery cause infertility and children “often do not see any lasting benefits with regards to mental health. In fact, many patients experience permanent damage to their cardiovascular health, bone density, and reproductive functions.”
Time to Start Talking About America's Coming Bankruptcy
- By Neil Patel
Did you know America is going bankrupt? Most people don't. Maybe the saddest part about our country's state of affairs is that all our vitriol and dysfunction has come at a time when we aren't even addressing our biggest problems. It would be one thing if America collectively decided we have to be honest about where we are as a country and we were in the middle of a charged debate about how to fix it. Instead, we are fighting about trivial things while pretty much everyone in the country, on all sides of the political spectrum, has decided our real problems are so bad we may as well ignore them. Have you ever had a friend who's had some horrible, embarrassing event in their life? The last thing you want to do is mention it. That's America and our debt problem. It's so bad that we don't talk about it anymore.
Who Really Imperils the Republic?
- By Pat Buchanan
"That attack, that siege" of the Capitol, FBI Director Chris Wray told Congress, "was criminal behavior, plain and simple, and it was behavior we at the FBI view as domestic terrorism."
"Domestic terrorism," said Wray, echoing his boss.
For what had been President-elect Joe Biden's reaction to the Capitol riot?
Gas-tax-hike Surplus Expands by $250M in One Year While Road Projects Lag
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
In just one year, the surplus from state gas-tax-hike revenues grew by more than a quarter of a billion dollars, or 50%, to $752 million as of Jan. 31, records show.
The Nerve repeatedly has pointed out the growing reserve that the S.C. Department of Transportation has been sitting on since the gas-tax-hike law took effect on July 1, 2017. Now, the agency contends that the surplus is committed to “pending vendor payments.”

On Nominees, a Neera Miss for Biden
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
Here's the thing with demanding civility -- you actually have to practice it. The Biden administration just learned that lesson the hard way. After two years of insisting on a kinder, gentler Washington, the president has raised plenty of eyebrows with his abrasive nominees. Neera Tanden was the surliest of the bunch, firing off years of social media insults as head of the radical Center for American Progress. She was everything Democrats said they hated in Trump: a brash, blunt, Twitter attack dog. Because she was one of them, the White House thought she'd be safe. They were wrong.
