LIVING AMONG THE “RUINS”
Alongside the road to Beaufort, S.C., near Yemassee, stand the still imposing ruins of Old Sheldon Church. Originally built between 1745 and 1753, it was used by American patriots during our Revolutionary War to store arms; hence it was burned down by the British in 1779, and rebuilt in 1826. Tradition has claimed that it was again burned and gutted by the marauding devils from General Sherman’s army of pillagers and despoilers during The War For Southern Independence, but fairly recent evidence in a letter from an on site visitor in 1866 claims that Old Sheldon was NOT burned down in 1865 by Yankees but was gutted by the locals after that war, and its materials used all over Beaufort, S.C.

How Black Lives Matter Got Played by Biden and Harris!
- By Kevin White
(Originally published Feb. 7, 2021 by Conservative Business Journal, and reprinted with permission.)
Black Lives Matter was a faithful backer of the Joe Biden and Kamala Harris ticket for the 2020 election. They went to the mat, protested police, burned down cities, and Black-owned businesses, all for Joe Biden and kamala Harris.
Both Biden and Harris were all for their support which by their belief pushed the campaign over the top to win. The Black Lives Matter movement raised $10.6 billion in 2020 through their website. The contribution interface is nothing more than a link to actblue.com, also known as the Democrat party donation portal. BLM encourages visitors to donate to the cause of stopping racism and helping the African American community achieve social justice.
The Political and Media Lynching of Donald J. Trump
- By Frank Raddish - Founder/Director Capitol Hill Independent Baptist Ministries
The second impeachment of President Donald Trump is really all about putting our constitution and the American culture on trial. The Democrats realize that they must destroy him because he has become the leader that has rekindled true American patriotism. These Marxists believe if they can stop him from running for office again through impeachment, it will stop the thrust of the America first movement. Then they can more easily manipulate America into a communist direction without much-organized opposition against them.
COVID-19 – A School Choice Diamond in the Rough
- By Michael J. LaPierre
True Patriots understand that Covid-19 was used as a propaganda instrument by the Marxist element on our shores. While the loss of life for those who contracted the China-Flu is heartbreaking, and those who were stripped of their civil liberties by the stroke of the Executive Order pens seem unimaginable, undemocratic, unconstitutional, and palpably disturbing, there may be light at the end of the Covid-10 indoctrination. One word: EDUCATION.
SALTY Sez – The Devil Owns the Press and Its Minions
- By Ray Simmons
Everyone with a grain of common sense knows that the 2021 presidential election was “fixed”. Proofs are everywhere. The recent video by Mike Lindell shows those proofs, which the media is calling conspiracy theories. FACTS are not THEORIES and the facts of the cyber theft of votes by China, among others, was clearly demonstrated and supported by expert technologists. The Democrats know this and the Republicans know this. The Supreme Court knows this and the voters know this, yet no one with power status is brave enough to acknowledge what they know to be true. They are more willing to accept the known lie and destroy our nation than to fight for the freedoms that built our country. What can instill such fear into the hearts of so many? The powers that be have been seized by the Devil himself and they will rue their choice when they stand face to face with the Lord, which everyone must do.
NGU Cline School of Music and School of Theatre Present 'You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown'
- By LaVerne Howell - NGU
The North Greenville University (NGU) Cline School of Music and School of Theatre are collaborating to bring Clark Gesner's "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown" to the NGU Billingsley Theatre stage in February.
When the play was first staged on March 7, 1967, there was no real script at Theatre 80 in New York City. The six young actors were armed mostly with ten songs and ten years' worth of cartoons by "Peanuts" creator Charles M. Schulz.
Commerce Approves Hundreds of Large-Crowd Events Amid Covid Outbreak
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
Since Gov. Henry McMaster in August gave the state Department of Commerce – which isn’t a public health agency – the authority to allow large-crowd events in South Carolina amid the coronavirus outbreak, the agency has approved more than 1,300 applications, records show.
Through Thursday morning, Commerce approved 1,345, or 90%, of the total 1,489 submitted applications, The Nerve found in a review of the department’s online applications database. Seventeen approved applications involved estimated crowds, either on a single day or collectively over a longer time period, of at least 10,000.
Will We Answer the Wake-Up Call Before our Country Is Completely Destroyed?
- By Neil Patel
It's sort of shocking that a series of left-wing riots around the nation followed by a right-wing riot at our Capitol building haven't caused much self-reflection among the policymakers in Washington. It's convenient to think this is just some tiny group of crazies or this is all going to blow over. We have been thinking that way for years now. It's not true. Our once-great country is in a huge slide. Too many fellow citizens are hurting. Too many communities around the country are shells of their former vibrant selves. All this is a screaming wake-up call for change, yet we don't have any serious efforts underway to reform our system.
Dark Winter of a Grand Old Party
- By Pat Buchanan
It has been a dreadful three months for the Grand Old Party.
On Nov. 3, President Donald Trump seemed to have lost the White House by narrowly losing three crucial blue states he had won in 2016 -- Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania -- and Georgia and Arizona as well.
Trump immediately mounted an acrimonious two-month campaign to prove the election had been "rigged" and "stolen," enlisting virtually the entire party behind his claim.
The Kids Aren't All Right

PITTSBURGH -- One year ago, Lena Carson was pulling straight A's at the city's Creative and Performing Arts Magnet school, located across the river from her parents' home. She also swam at the local YMCA every day in preparation for the annual state competition and enjoyed the everyday social life of a teenager.
Today, she is sitting at home. Again.
House Democrats Silence Senate Republicans
- By Eagle Forum
As President Biden and his Congressional allies push forward their massive $1.9 trillion COVID package, Republicans in both the House and Senate are trying even harder to stop it. With the Senate’s current split, Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Majority Leader Chuck Schumer moved forward a legislative procedure called “budget reconciliation” in order to pass their wish list with only 51 votes in the Senate. Initially, a shell budget is passed triggering a risky amendment process in the Senate known as “vote-a-rama.” This intense action played out overnight for 15 hours last week with both sides offering amendment after amendment. To our surprise, Republicans were dealt some wins.

Stop Extreme Gun Control Bill H.R. 127
- By The John Birch Society
Members of Congress are seeking to pass an extreme and unconstitutional gun control bill that would effectively nullify the Second Amendment.
Here are the highlights of H.R. 127’s provisions:
- It creates a national firearm registry that anyone – including every level of law enforcement and the military – can access.
- The registry would require one to tell the government exactly where one’s firearms are stored.
- One would need a license simply to own a firearm.
- Mandatory “psychological evaluations” are required receive this license.
- One would need to pay $800 for “firearm insurance.”
- It would enact extreme ammunition restrictions, including a ban on magazines more than 10 rounds.
- Violating the above provisions could lead to a prison sentence of up to 40 years and a fine of up to $150,000.
Abortion is Not Safe: New Video Documents 67 Abortion-Related Medical Emergencies and 1 Maternal Death in 2020
- By Christian Newswire
WICHITA, Kan -- Today, Operation Rescue released a new video that documents 67 medical emergencies that took place at American abortion facilities in 2020, including one abortion-related maternal death. The video vividly shatters the rhetoric of the Abortion Cartel that attempts to convince the public that abortion is safe.
Out of the 67 medical emergencies documented in 2020, 30 involved Planned Parenthood abortion facilities.
Mark Cuban's Airball on Freedom
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
You might be a Leftist if you lay awake at night brainstorming which cherished American tradition to sabotage next. Back in November, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban suspended the playing of the national anthem before home games. Because stands sit empty due to coronavirus restrictions, nobody noticed until Tuesday.
There's no good reason why the "Star-Spangled Banner" should be controversial. Do people seriously wish they were British subjects instead? Do they resent that America is the "land of the free and the home of the brave?"
If Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene Is the Standard, What About Democrat 'Kingmaker' Rev. Al Sharpton?
- By Larry Elder
Because of offensive tweets posted by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., before she won office, House Democrats joined by 11 Republicans voted to strip her of her committee assignments.
If this is the new standard, can we apply this to the Rev. Al Sharpton, aka a Democratic "kingmaker," whose support was solicited by every major 2020 Democratic presidential candidate?
Demonizing White Christians
- By Bill Donohue - Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights
Much to the chagrin of the Christian left, they have never been able to gain traction. This accounts, at least in part, for their animus against conservative Christians, who, unlike those on the left, carry significant political and cultural weight. The most recent manifestation of the Christian left's hostility to conservative Christians is their invention of Christian nationalism.
It always helps to have a bogeyman. Christian nationalism was not discovered—it was created out of used cloth. Formerly known as the "Religious Right" or "Christocrats," today's bad guys are different in that they evince a strong racist edge. White people are the problem. To be more specific, it is white conservative Christians, many of whom are Trump supporters, who are an existential threat to our democracy.

Legislative Delegations Again Exert Control Over Local Schools
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
In another power move by county legislative delegations, a Spartanburg County lawmaker has proposed legislation that would establish base pay for members of a local school board.
It’s not the first time in recent years that a county delegation, made up House and Senate members representing that county, has inserted itself into local school board matters.
And delegations have exerted their control in other ways.
Maxine Waters, Racial Insurrectionist
- By Michelle Malkin
What a sick joke. Congresswoman Maxine Waters, one of the loudest mouths leading the impeachment circus against former President Donald Trump over the events at the Capitol on Jan. 6, is a brazen racial insurrectionist. The sixteen-term Democrat from South Central Los Angeles has been pouring verbal gasoline and tossing rhetorical Molotov cocktails into the public square since the 1992 L.A. riots.
Now she's the arbiter of civility and keeper of social order? LOL.

Opt out of Social Security for Racial Equity
- By Star Parker
A recent Reuters headline read, "Yellen, Rice tout economics as key to fixing American inequality."
According to Susan Rice, President Joe Biden's new domestic policy adviser, "The evidence is clear, investing in equity is good for economic growth."
Our new Treasury secretary, Janet Yellen, says, "I believe economic policy can be a potent tool to improve society. We can -- and should -- use it to address inequality, racism ..."
At Debt's Door with Biden's COVID Plan
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
Joe Biden learned a lot of things under Barack Obama -- but reaching across the aisle wasn't one of them. That's become quite apparent in the last week, as the new president charges ahead with a controversial COVID relief package that almost no Republicans support. Aides say the new president is trying to "avoid the missteps of the Obama years" -- but he's already repeating one of the biggest: talking about bipartisanship, but refusing to practice it.
Of Rioters, Protesters & Patriots
- By Pat Buchanan
To Parliament, in the London of George III, the Boston Massacre of 1770 and the Tea Party of 1773 were not seen in the same light as they were by the Sons of Liberty in the Massachusetts colony.
To Parliament, this was mob violence, and the shooting and killing at Lexington and Concord were acts of insurrection and treason.
But because we won the Revolution, those events are portrayed and remembered differently. For when it comes to riots and revolutions, all depends on who writes the narrative of history. It is the winners.
End Big Tech Censorship on the Internet!
- By The John Birch Society
It is a fact beyond honest dispute that “Big Tech” is nearly, if not completely, synonymous with liberal. Big Tech has held both the internet and the web in a stranglehold for more than a decade and it is becoming increasingly worse over time. It has now grown increasingly blatant and politically-motivated, particularly against conservatives.
