The South Carolina Black Conservative Movement Anti-Illegal Immigration Rally
With temperatures in the 90’s, the weather was not the only heat of the day. As the crowd came together at the Statehouse in Columbia for the Anti-Illegal Immigration Rally organized by The Black Conservative Movement, the heat was placed on President Obama and the liberals in Congress and the State Legislature. Rowena Booker, the Founder and President of The Black Conservative Movement, was the last speaker of the event. Mrs. Booker said “We have stepped off the plantation and there are many black conservatives that are afraid to step off the plantation.”

Local Action the Answer to Federal Aggression
- By Tom DeWeese
Growing numbers of concerned, dedicated Americans are joining the nationwide protests against ever-higher taxes; the outrage of Obamacare; the bailouts and the Federal Reserve; the growing government surveillance society; and the destruction of private property rights through policies including Sustainable Development. The question now among these new activists is “what’s the next step?”
It’s time for action, and to that end, I am announcing the Freedom Action National Conference, to be held August 12 – 14, 2010, at the Dolce Hotel in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania.

Woodard wrong, Catholic Sheheen No Conservative on "Abortion"
In the headline article in the July 28 issue of The Times Examiner, it states: "On social issues Sheheen is a conservative [sic]. Sheheen is Catholic, and if he takes his church's view on abortion, stem cell research, gay [sic] marriage [sic] and euthanasia, ""he will be a very formidable candidate," Woodard said."
This description of pro-abort SC State Senator Vincent Sheheen (D) attributed to Dr. David Woodard, a professor of political science at Clemson University, is demonstrably false vis-a-vis the "abortion" issue.
