The Lay of the Land for the 2022 Elections
- By Eagle Forum
Get Out and Vote!
In less than a month, Americans will be showing up at the polls to cast their votes in the mid-term elections. This year it is important to not only get out and vote, but to educate your friends and neighbors about the candidates and concerns at stake. The top issues for voters include protecting life and constitutional liberties, fighting crime and controlling inflation. Due to redistricting, open seats and the close majorities in Congress, both Democrats and Republicans are pouring time and money into their candidates’ campaigns. With Republicans slated to take back the majority in the House and possibly the Senate, we are doing our part to usher in a red wave for conservatives! Please help us by making a donation today to Eagle Forum PAC.

PayPal Censors Speech? Users Jump Ship After Questionable Policy Draft Leak
- By Marjorie Jackson - The Washington Stand
At the end of September, popular online payment processor PayPal announced impending updates to their Acceptable Use Policies (AUP). Reported first by The Daily Wire, the policy update stated that it would debit users up to $2,500 if they engaged in banned activity such as “promot[ing] misinformation” or “hate,” effective November 3.
As the headline spread across the media, the idea that PayPal’s terms gave the company the right to withdraw several grand from bank accounts did not sit well with users, sparking outrage among many who viewed these actions as Big Tech censorsing speech. The DailyWire’s Candace Owens beckoned her following to exit the platform, tweeting, “Just moved all mony I had in my PayPal account out of it. And I very much suggest you do the same … #PayPal is dead.”

Journalist Robert Knight Exposes 2020 Election Fraud in New Book, Crooked
- By D. James Kennedy Ministries
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- Journalist and pro-family conservative Robert Knight digs deep into the 2020 election and America's election mess in his new book, Crooked: What Really Happened in the 2020 Election and How to Stop the Fraud (www.djkm.org/crooked).
In the D. James Kennedy Ministries-published book, Knight serves up compelling evidence that vote fraud, unconstitutional election law rigging and Big Tech manipulation combined to yield a pre-determined result. But to the news media, as Knight observes in the book, such charges are "'false,' 'baseless,' involve 'falsehoods,' or are even a 'conspiracy theory.'" Instead of defending freedom of speech and free inquiry, the press vilifies anyone stepping outside their narrative.

Anti-globalism Is Growing Around the World. Now What?
- By Paul Dragu - The New American
Italians have elected an outwardly anti-globalist government led by Giorgia Meloni.
They join the Poles, Hungarians, “far-right” Swedish Democrats, pro-Brexit Britons, Jair Bolsonaro’s Brazilian supporters, and, of course, MAGA Americans, under the growing anti-globalism umbrella.
The incoming Italian prime minister’s rhetoric is solid. She has labeled the “international regime” and “globalist leftist ideology” enemies. The international cartel’s attack on the traditional family has especially struck a chord with Meloni, as she has mentioned in numerous interviews and speeches. Like most people around the world who remain sane, Italians are tired of being browbeaten into believing that Uncle Pauli can turn into Aunt Marie. They’re tired of nonstop LGBTQ propaganda being shoved down their throats and infecting the minds of their children.

OB/GYN Provides 'Merciful Medicine' After Turning Away from Performing Abortions
- By Christian Newswire
Former abortion doctor tells his incredible and inspiring conversion story
SAN FRANCISCO -- Dr. John Bruchalski wanted to serve women and be the very best doctor he could be, which is why he agreed to perform abortions during his residency. That was the expectation, after all, and if it was what the patient wanted, who was he to dissuade them? After years of learning moral relativism, he didn't have a problem ending the lives of unborn babies if it was what the patient wanted — until one day it didn't go as planned. This story opens Dr. Bruchalski's first book and memoir, TWO PATIENTS: MY CONVERSION FROM ABORTION TO LIFE-AFFIRMING MEDICINE (Ignatius Press).

When Faith Becomes a Fireable Offense: Teachers, Reporter Let Go over Beliefs
- By Dan Hart - The Washington Stand
In the space of a week, two teachers and a reporter have been fired from their jobs over stances they took because of their religious beliefs. Notably, all the firings happened in conservative parts of the country.
In North Platte, Neb., Melanie Standiford, a news director and co-anchor at KNOP-TV, was let go for collecting signatures at her church for a pro-life ballot initiative. In a statement to the Christian Post, KNOP said that news employees, “regardless of beliefs,” are not permitted to “engage in any political activity for any candidate, party, or ballot initiative.” Standiford, who had worked at the station for five years, worked her last day on September 30.
