Lawyer's Proclamation in Support of a Fair and Equal Election
- By Christian Newswire
FORT WORTH, Texas -- On November 30, 2020 is released a Lawyer's Proclamation in Support of a Fair and Equal Election. The Proclamation asserts that Joseph Biden did not receive more legal votes in the six dispositive swing states of Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Nevada, and Georgia. Further, while the U.S.A. as we know it now hangs in the balance, the state legislatures in those six swing states must intervene for the President, and in doing so they will have fulfilled their constitutional duty. Attorneys can sign the Proclamation at www.lawyersproclamation.website.

Biden Goes against the Gains on Policy
- By Family Research Council
Even if Donald Trump isn't in the White House for the next four years, he's leaving the next president with a whole lot to remember him by. As the days tick on, more liberals are starting to realize that even if Joe Biden wins, upending all that Trump did will be a much harder climb than many people thought. The roots of this administration's policy run deep, and pulling them up will be a long, difficult slog--if the Democrat can manage it at all.

Potheads Back in Washington

House Hoping to Legalize Marijuana
This week, Washington welcomed back the House and Senate after a recess to campaign. The few weeks in between the end of the 116th and start of the 117th Congress are sure to be busy. The agenda includes funding the government before the December 11th deadline and decriminalizing marijuana.
The House follows the lead of the four states that decriminalized marijuana on November 3rd. We’ve advocated tirelessly against marijuana legalization and our lawmakers, both federally and at the state level, continue to forget the consequences of the drug’s legalization. Just last September the House passed the SAFE Banking Act. As you may recall, this legislation prevents federal banking regulators from punishing financial institutions that finance marijuana businesses that are legal under state or local laws. The bill undermines federal law and allows for legal money laundering in which banks receive illegally obtained funds.

What if Neither Presidential Candidate Receives the Required 270 Electoral Votes?
- By Janine Hansen - Eagle Forum
This could happen if the Supreme Court overturns enough of Biden votes, that he does not have sufficient to achieve the 270 electoral votes to win the election.
We don’t know yet if this will happen, but with the many recounts, investigations into fraud, and court challenges it is a possibility.
If neither candidate receives the required 270 electoral votes, then the Twelfth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution outlines what happens. “…if no person have such majority (of elector votes), then…the House of Representatives shall choose immediately, by ballot, the President.” But in choosing the President, the votes shall be taken by states, the representation from each state having ONE vote.” A quorum of members from two-thirds of the states is required.

Trump Team Looks at Cause and Elect
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
They flooded downtown D.C. holding patriotic flags and signs, a mass of Americans filling the streets to show their support for the president. The media would ignore them, of course -- but the sea of Million MAGA marchers, like the dozens of campaign rallies leading up to the election, would be hard to overlook. Chants of "Count every vote!" rang out -- a cry echoed in courtrooms across the states, where the Trump campaign fights on. Whether his efforts will be enough to save his presidency, no one knows. But could they save an election system bogged down by doubts and questions? That, in the long run, may be just as important.

Radical 'Heroes Act' Is a Leftist Wish-List
- By Ruth Moreno - Family Research Council
On November 12, Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) held a joint press conference calling for the passage of the Heroes Act. The Senate, House, and White House have been dealing with this far-left bill for months, but Schumer claims that the results from the 2020 election prove the necessity of passing the Heroes Act as a "starting point" on a new round of coronavirus relief legislation. Yesterday on "Washington Watch," FRC President Tony Perkins spoke with House minority whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) to discuss the Heroes Act and the Democrats' latest attempt to push it through Congress.
