PERFIDY Is All Around Us!
- By W.H. Lamb
![PERFIDY Is All Around Us](/images/18-08/PERFIDY-Is-All-Around-Us.jpg)
Perfidy is a word that isn’t in the regular vocabulary of many people. I came across the word many years ago, the context of which now eludes me (probably when reading about some sleazy progressive politician), but it was sometime in the last century (or the “dark ages” as my grandkids like to remind me). Let’s first define the word perfidy, which comes from the Latin, “perfidia”, meaning faithlessness. The dictionaries define it as follows:
Oxford: (noun): deceitfulness, untrustworthiness;
Webster: (noun): the quality or state of being faithless or disloyal; An act or an instance of disloyalty or faithlessness or treachery.
Other definitions for “perfidy” imply a deliberate breach of faith or trust.
Confront Evil, Protect the Vulnerable
- By Tony Perkins - The Washington Stand
There were signs of spring everywhere — in the bright morning sun, the pink flowers lining trees beside the parking lot, the signs for Easter services. As a small gray car rounded the bend, security cameras caught little children pumping their legs on swing sets in the background — the last carefree moment any of them will remember about this day. As they have in too many cities, Nashville’s moms and dads went about their days, not realizing they’d said goodbye for the last time.

She ≠ They
- By Anne Schlafly
The Associated Press published an article with this lead sentence on March 29, 2023:
"The shooter who killed three students and three staff members at a Christian school in Nashville legally bought seven weapons in recent years and hid the guns from their parents before carrying out the attack by firing indiscriminately at victims and spraying gunfire through doors and windows."

Projecting!! Will the Real Terrorist Please Stand?
- By Catching Fire News
In Episode 12 of Islam in America, Ron Branstner and Shahram Hadian discuss the hate rhetoric recently expressed on the Minnesota State Capitol floor.
Historic language by a Democrat State Representative, (Muslim) Omar Fateh, projected terror language while invoking dissension on his fellow colleagues across the aisle.
This skill set of projecting their own crimes and name calling their opponent is masterfully and artfully creative, even their victims (Republicans) fall victim to the Stockholm Syndrome of obeying and stifling speech.
Islam defines itself as submission, relinquishing one’s liberties for the good of their god. His views mirror a political structure which Islam subscribes too. A 1400-year-old playbook of war and political maneuvering.
Is this free speech? You be the judge.
First Quarter in the 2023 Multiverse
- By Alveda King
I am always excited about the first quarter of every new year. Yet annually, while as human beings we begin each year with new hopes and dreams, it is often hard to move ahead with unfinished business yapping at our heels.
In my 2023 "multiverse" I continue to pray for victory, faith over fear, love and forgiveness in every aspect of life; from the womb to the tomb and beyond. Today is March 31, 2023; the last day of the year's first quarter. So much has happened already.
January gave us the first March for Life following the overturning of Roe v Wade. Grateful. We also honored the MLK National Holiday; looking forward to the 50th Jubilee Anniversary of the MLK I HAVE A DREAM speech.
The Sins of Omission in History

Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin. - James 4:17, The Bible
I lost a great deal of respect for James M. McPherson who once tried to get President Obama not to send the traditional annual wreath to the Confederate Reconciliation Memorial in Arlington National Cemetery. It is hard to believe somebody of his supposed stature would actually be so small.
It is also hard to believe he would mislead with his history by leaving out key facts, at times, but historian Rod O'Barr, below, documents it thoroughly. McPherson's social justice activism apparently defines his historical judgment.

Library Board Gets Half a Loaf
- By Terry M. Thacker

A standing-room only crowd attended the monthly meeting of the Greenville County Library Board this past Monday afternoon to see what would happen to certain materials deemed sexually objectionable that were accessible to minors.
Earlier in the month, the library board's materials committee put forward two motions dealing with these materials. The first motion called for the removal of the following materials from the Juvenile Collection:
- “Explicit descriptions or depictions of sexual acts including vaginal, anal, oral masturbation, incest or pedophilia
- Descriptions or depictions that affirm gender transition ideology.”
The second motion called for the removal of the following materials from the Young Adult Collection:
'Bouncy Houses' and 'Goodie-Bags': Inside the Military's Drag Queen Events for Kids
- By Ben Johnson - The Washington Stand
The U.S. military under President Joe Biden has hosted numerous drag queen events for children on military bases, advertising the story hours alongside promises of “bouncy houses,” face painting, and “goodie-bags.” After public backlash, one base’s spokesman called gender-bending events “essential” to military morale and readiness.
Now, a conservative Republican congressman plans to hold the Biden administration’s feet to the fire after its top military advisor said drag queen events for children “shouldn’t be happening.”
Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) raised the issue of the “deeply unserious things” the administration has foisted on America’s fighting forces with Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin during a congressional hearing on Wednesday.
It's Time To Put Away Our Phones
- By Neil Patel
Next time you go to a restaurant, take a look around the room. Chances are half the people will be sitting in silence staring at their phones. This includes people there with their friends and family. We are so used to this that we've grown numb to it, but it's horrible.
What's the point of going out to dinner in the first place? It's not just to eat. People can do that at home and save a lot of money and time. Meals are social activities; they always have been. Going out to dinner is one of the most enjoyable social activities ever invented. For a family to do that and then each sit quietly staring at their phone is truly sad. And it begs the important question of what's going to happen to the kids doing this.
Top Universities: Tools of the WEF
- By Dr. Robert Malone
The WEFs committee of presidents from the world’s leading universities
One of the most unsettling events of the past three years has been the globalized, coordinated messaging of socio-economic missives and policies throughout the world. All of us in the liberty movement have wondered… who is controlling this? How does this happen?
I remember spending time last fall with Nick Hudson of the Pandata Group (Panda). We were discussing transgender policies across the world. We both were very disturbed, not just by the policies but also how they came about. How did the policies of teaching of non-binary genders in schools and the importance of youth “transitioning” spread across world so quickly? How is it possible that South Africa would be immersed in the same battles for “trans rights,” as the USA and as of most of Europe? Of course, it isn’t possible without coordination.
From Stanford to Israel, Mobocracy Triumphs Over Deliberation
- By Josh Hammer
The very notion of republican self-governance, which has been a core tenet of Western civilization since the demise of the great monarchs of Europe, depends upon the willingness of citizens to debate and deliberate the most pressing issues of society. Sadly, high-profile recent examples, from the tony terrain of Stanford University all the way to the raucous streets of Tel Aviv, Israel, underscore the extent to which Western societies have given up on reasoned deliberation and capitulated to mobocracy. Where this civilizational decline ultimately ends is anyone's guess.
Federal Judge Strikes Down Law Criminalizing Pro-life Speech
- By Life Legal Defense Foundation
SAN JOSE,, Calif. -- A federal court yesterday struck down a provision of a California law that threatened the right of pro-lifers to exercise their First Amendment rights on public sidewalks outside abortion clinics.
In 2021, California Governor Gavin Newsom signed SB 742, which criminalized speech and other First Amendment activities outside any "vaccination site," including Planned Parenthood and other abortion clinics that dispense Gardasil and other STD vaccines.
Congress Engages in Difficult Budget Talks
- By Eagle Forum
For many years, our federal government has spent beyond its means. Both parties have contributed to the over $31.6 trillion debt and Americans are feeling the strain of inflation. Now that Republicans hold the majority in the House, they have an opportunity to make great strides in fiscal responsibility. However, the impending debt ceiling fight is putting a damper on any progress.
Idaho Attorney General Issues Legal Analysis Affirming the Prohibition of Chemical Abortion Pills in the State of Idaho
- By Stanton Public Policy Center/Purple Sash Revolution
BOISE, Idaho -- Idaho Attorney General Raúl Labrador issued a legal analysis in response to a letter sent to him by Idaho State Representative Brent Crane concerning Idaho's criminal prohibitions on chemical abortion pills.
Representative Crane's letter, written on behalf of Stanton Healthcare, asked the Attorney General to provide legal clarity on three issues:
- Does Idaho's criminal abortion prohibition related to surgical abortions include chemical abortion pills?
- Do Idaho laws prohibit the promotion and advertising of chemical abortion pills?
- Do Idaho laws prohibit referring women across state lines to obtain abortion services, or prescribing abortion pills that will be picked up across state lines?
Attorney General Labrador's legal opinion and analysis of these questions is that they are all criminal activities and prohibited under Idaho law.
Radiometric Dating
- By Charles Creager, Jr.
Radiometric dating is the effort to try to use radioactive isotopes of various elements as a way of dating an object usually a rock. The most notable exception is carbon14 dating, which is used on organic samples, specifically samples that were once alive. Radiometric dating is the primary method used for dating the earth in parts of it that are thought to be millions or billions of years old. Despite the fact that it is frequently touted as being airtight in its dating there are a number of assumptions that are behind these methods. But even worse any date can be dismissed if it does not match up with what the evolutionary geological timescale dictates.

'This Country Needs Revival': Transgender Activist Kills 6 at Christian School in Nashville
- By Ben Johnson - The Washington Stand
A woman who identifies as a transgender man murdered six people inside a Christian school in Nashville Monday morning before police killed her — an assault that a U.S. congressman attributed to potentially “some sort of demonic possession.” The United States “needs revival,” he said, before such targeted shootings become a heartbreaking new normal.
Around 10:13 a.m., a 28-year-old named Audrey Elizabeth Hale shot open a side door and opened fire inside Covenant School, a ministry of Covenant Presbyterian Church, which educates children from preschool through the sixth grade. Hale killed six people — three students and three employees — before two members of the police response stopped her 14 minutes later at 10:27 a.m.
Policy Council Advocating Title Insurance Reform
- By Dallas Woodhouse - The Nerve
Bills under consideration in the S.C. Legislature would remove a quirk in state law that unnecessarily regulates the relationship between title insurance agencies and their underwriters.
A recently filed state House bill along with its Senate counterpart would embrace the free-market system and allow the two parties to negotiate commission payments on their own terms.
South Carolina and Connecticut are the only two states that impose a cap on the commission paid to a title examiner (agent) when someone buys title insurance.
“This change will free small business owners (title insurance agencies) to negotiate commissions with big out-of-state insurance companies that do business here,” said real estate lawyer Nathan Galbreath of Greenville, managing partner of Nelson & Galbreath, which has offices statewide and in Atlanta. “The net result will be to immediately put over $45 million into small businesses throughout South Carolina every year.”
‘Your Voice Was Heard’ as Newsmax Returns to DirecTV
- By Ben Johnson - The Washington Stand
On Thursday mornings, DirecTV subscribers turned on their screens and saw something they hadn’t seen in a while: Newsmax.
After 81 days, and the delivery of more than 17,000 signed petitions from Family Research Council, cable provider DirecTV has restored Newsmax, which vanished from its channel lineup at the stroke of midnight on January 25. Subscribers saw familiar Newsmax personalities return to the airwaves on Thursday morning, after the two companies inked a multi-year agreement that Newsmax will be available on DirecTV, DirecTV Stream and U-verse, “at no additional cost to customers,” according to DirecTV.
Parental Involvement Strengthens Public Schools
- By Kris Ullman - Eagle Forum
Eagle Forum Applauds House Passage of H.R. 5, The Parents’ Bill of Rights
“Last Friday, the House of Representatives recognized the rights of parents to know what is happening in public schools. This common-sense legislation provides transparency and notice regarding what is being taught, how money is being spent, and what is happening in the schools. We at Eagle Forum do not understand why there was any opposition to this bill. More information is a good thing. What is it that the schools are trying to hide?” said Eagle Forum President Kristen A. Ullman.
School Directed to Hide Gender Support Plans from Parents
- By Capitol Resource Institute
SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- The saga of secrecy continues, this time at Buckingham Collegiate Charter Academy (BCCA) in the northern California town of Vacaville. In a move that may soon go district wide, Buckingham administrators have cited AB 1266 and CA Education Code 220 as the legal foundation for keeping parents/guardians completely in the dark if their child requests a Gender Support Plan (GSP) at school. (See below for excerpts from the GSP template).
One Buckingham administrator told the staff to not even tell parents the document exists!
However, the truth is that neither AB 1266 nor the Ed Code policy requires any such thing.
