Supreme Court Responds to Christian Plea for Relief from Anti-Christian Attacks
- By Christian Newswire
WASHINGTON -- Public Advocate heartily thanks the U.S. Supreme Court for taking up the issue of the wrongful expansion of Title VII rights via the reinterpretation of "discrimination on the basis of sex" to include sexual activity.
"Most cases don't get heard and we are elated that Christians get two hearings at the Supreme Court on cases in which non-existent or fabricated legislation seems to restrict the religious beliefs of Christians in two separate cases," says Eugene Delgaudio, president of Public Advocate.
Justice Kavanaugh and GMU Snowflakes
- By Walter Williams
George Mason University's Antonin Scalia Law School hired Supreme Court Associate Justice Brett Kavanaugh to co-teach a course this summer called Creation of the Constitution. The course will be held 3,668 miles away, in Runnymede, England, where the Magna Carta was sealed 800 years ago. Some George Mason University students and faculty have become triggered. One student told George Mason's Board of Visitors, "It has affected my mental health knowing that an abuser will be part of our faculty." Another said, "The hiring of Kavanaugh threatens the mental well-being of all survivors on this campus." The Washington Post reports that a petition to fire Kavanaugh has gathered almost 3,500 signatures and has the endorsement of George Mason Democrats. GMU students have created separate forms for parents and alumni to pledge that they will not donate to the university so long as Kavanaugh is teaching.
'Easter Worshippers' Disrespects Persecuted Christians
- By Christian Newswire
WASHINGTON -- Coordinated bombings targeting multiple churches, as well as hotels, on Easter Sunday in Sri Lanka highlight, once again, the growing persecution of Christians in South Asia and around the globe.
The New York Times reports that at least 290 people were killed and 500 others injured by the terrorist attacks, many a part of Sri Lanka's minority Christian community. Three coordinated suicide bombings took place during Easter Sunday morning services at St. Sebastian's Church in Negombo, evangelical Zion Church in Batticaloa, and St. Anthony's Shrine in Colombo, Sri Lanka's commercial capital and largest city.
Socialism’s Hard Truth
- By Eagle Forum
Socialism, or Democratic Socialism, is portrayed as a system that helps those in need most and gives everyone a fair chance at success. This ideal system would redistribute the wealth of the 1% to provide a basic income, free healthcare, free college tuition, and free child care, just to name a few. These talking points tend to hit home with almost every American who spends a large chunk of the paycheck on everyday necessities or conveniences.

Whom the Gods Would Destroy
- By Mike Scruggs
The Truth about Marijuana, Mental Illness, and Violence
In 441 BC, the Greek playwright Sophocles wrote a drama called Antigone that contained this line:
“Evil appears good in the minds of those whom God leads to destruction.”
Similar observations can be found in other Greek, Hebrew, and Roman literature, including Isaiah 5:20 written sometime before 686 BC.
“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil…”
Another familiar form of it is spoken by Prometheus in Henry Wadsworth Longfellow’s play, “The Masque of Pandora,” written in 1875:
“Whom the gods would destroy, they first make mad.”
In August 2017, Senator Cory Booker, Democrat from New Jersey, introduced a bill in the U.S. Senate to legalize marijuana on the federal level.
Building A Wall for Your Homeschool
- By Ray Sheen
This article is about three walls. There has been a lot in the news over the years about building a wall and the purpose of a wall. Of course, the wall that is being discussed is a wall on the southern border of the USA. We will look at that one and two others.
Let’s take a minute to consider the implications of the southern border wall, or rather the lack of that wall. Without a wall, the border is open for anyone to cross. Now there are border patrol agents whose role is to monitor who is crossing and turn back those who should not be allowed to enter. But that border is 1,954 miles long. There are countless places where people can cross. And while some of those who are crossing are seeking asylum or seeking an opportunity to participate in the American workforce, there are also those who are criminals who are bringing their crime with them and spreading it through the country.
Sri Lanka Bombings is a Wake-up Call to Protect Religious Freedom
- By Christian Newswire
NEW YORK -- Ohr Torah Stone's Center for Jewish-Christian Understanding and Cooperation (CJCUC) in Jerusalem wishes to express our sincerest condolences to the families of Sri Lanka who lost their loved ones in today's terrorist attacks that took the lives of more than 200 people and injured hundreds. Three Catholic churches were part of the targeted attacks while congregants were involved in prayer on one of Christianity's sacred days. Rabbi Kenneth Brander, President of Ohr Torah Stone, said that "the holiday of Passover reminds us of the need to speak out against affliction especially when targeted against religious groups on their holy days."
No New Taxes
- By Eagle Forum
President Trump has proved to be a man of his promise. We have seen him come through on campaign issues on which he ran like immigration and life. This year, he may add another issue to his repertoire: infrastructure. While Congress seems to be in disarray with Democrats holding the majority in the House and Republicans barely holding a majority in the Senate, the President believes that he can work out a bipartisan solution to the United States’ infrastructure problem.
An April Morning – Part 2, “No King But King Jesus”
- By W.H. Lamb
I’ve always loved Emerson’s famous “Concord Hymn”, the first stanza of which I’ve quoted above. It’s carved onto the famous “Minuteman Statue” that stands on one side of The Old North Bridge in Concord, Massachusetts. I’ve stood by this statue several times, read those verses from its pedestal, and walked across at least two reconstructed versions of that “Old North Bridge” over the years. But I’ve always believed that the “Minuteman” statue was erected in the wrong place—next to that Old North Bridge, rather than on the true birthplace of American freedom, the historic Battle Green in Lexington, Massachusetts, where the real first “shot heard ‘round the world” was fired, several hours before the battle at the Old North Bridge, both of which occurred on April 19, 1775.
Is Bernie Stealing Trump's 'No More Wars' Issue?
- By Pat Buchanan
"The president has said that he does not want to see this country involved in endless wars... I agree with that," Bernie Sanders told the Fox News audience at Monday's town hall meeting in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
Then turning and staring straight into the camera, Bernie added:
"Mr. President, tonight you have the opportunity to do something extraordinary: Sign that resolution. Saudi Arabia should not be determining the military or foreign policy of this country."
'Charitable' Foundations Need to be Educated About Abortion, etc.

MILTON, Fla. -- Led by the Gates Foundation, the Hewlett Foundation, the Packard Foundation, and the Ford Foundation, in excess of $300,000,000 (three hundred million dollars) is given by foundations annually toward abortion, promiscuity education, and contraceptives for children. Life Research Institute needs a volunteer, anywhere in the country, to help educate the board members of all foundations which give money toward these three causes.
Hope for the Dead
- By Judge Andrew Napolitano
When America was in its infancy and struggling to find a culture and frustrated at governance from Great Britain, the word most frequently uttered in pamphlets and editorials and sermons was not "safety" or "taxes" or "peace"; it was "freedom." And two intolerable acts of Parliament assaulting freedom broke the bonds with the mother country irreparably, precipitating the Revolution.

Black Women Challenge Hollywood: We are "Soul Sisters" - Let's talk
HOLLYWOOD, Calif. -- In response to mounting opposition from black Hollywood celebrities and politicians, black activists are crying out. Opposition to a Georgia "Heartbeat Bill" that will save the lives of countless babies and their mothers is being challenged. Black prolife activists urge opponents across the spectrum of Hollywood, politics and every walk of life to "meet in the public square for a come to Jesus moment. We are not enemies. We have a common cause, to live, to grow and prosper. There has to be a better way. Women and children are being led to the slaughter."

Brea-Olinda School District Fails to Comply with Open Records Act
BREA, Calif. -- After submitting an open records request, Capitol Resource Institute (CRI) has discovered that the Brea Olinda School District has included in their "comprehensive sexual education" curriculum the positive portrayal and teaching of pederasty; the act of adult sex with boys. However, the information on pederasty was withheld from district's response to the formal request. The public wants to know what else are districts hiding?
Coalition of Conservative and Liberal Church Leaders to Pressure Senators to Pass Gun Regulation

As 20th Anniversary of Columbine School Shooting Approaches, a Rare Showing of Solidarity Among Church and Ministry Leaders Across the Political and Theological Spectrum, Together with the Presence of a Columbine Victim, is Hoped to Move Senate to Action on Universal Background Checks and Red Flag Laws
WASHINGTON -- In what may be a pivot in the often contentious 2nd Amendment / Gun Violence Prevention debate, a diverse group of unlikely allies - conservative evangelical and liberal mainline church leaders - are joining together to deliver a unified message to Senators on April 16 and April 17: "We are concerned over the current status of legislation related to sensible gun regulation - we all agree that this is a moral and ethical issue in our country and the time for action is overdue."
Questions for Chase (Away) Bank
- By Michelle Malkin
I have been a Chase Bank customer for years. Who knows how much longer it'll be? Will the company's thought police come for me next? How about you? If you are a non-leftist who does business with the financial giant owned by J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., you need to ask questions and get answers.
On Tuesday, investigative journalist James O'Keefe and his Project Veritas team released a disturbing new video on the runaround that Chase officials gave Texas conservative entrepreneur Enrique Tarrio about his canceled account. Big business may very well be enabling America's very own version of the Chinese social credit system in which political dissent is flagged, shunned, punished and eradicated.
Can the Super Rich Help the Regular Rich Solve Their Problem, Asks empty tomb, inc.
- By Christian Newswire
CHAMPAIGN, Ill. -- The following information should matter to the 70% of the U.S. population that still self-identifies as "Christian."
Highlights
A person with an income of $25,000 a year in the U.S. lives on $68.49 a day. That's more than ten times the amount that 46% of the people in the world live on ($5.50 a day or less).
Although Americans are used to thinking of the "super rich" as the "rich," in fact, most Americans are the "regular rich" on a global scale.

Mayor Pete and the Crackup of Christianity
- By Pat Buchanan
"(T)here is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so," said Hamlet, who thereby raised some crucial questions:
Is moral truth subjective? Does it change with changing times and changing attitudes? Or is there a higher law, a permanent law, God's law, immutable and eternal, to which man's law should conform?
Are, for example, the Ten Commandments of the Old Testament, Christian teaching and natural law unchangeable and applicable to all men at all times? Or can some of the 10 be consigned to the dumpster of antiquated moral prohibitions?
Critics are Deficient in Understanding Military Transgender Policy
- By Tony Perkins - Family Research Council
The Pentagon's implementation on Friday of a new policy restricting military service by those who identify as transgender continues to draw criticism. But the reality is most of the critics have made little effort to accurately understand it. This is true even of groups presenting themselves as experts -- like the American Medical Association. The AMA was quoted last week criticizing the Pentagon document to implement the policy for using the word "deficiencies" in explaining when transgender service members may be separated from the military. AMA president Dr. Barbara L. McAneny told the Associated Press, "The only thing deficient is any medical science behind this decision."
Some Things to Ponder
- By Walter Williams
There's a push to change laws to permit both criminals serving time and ex-criminals the right to vote. Guess which party is pushing the most for these legal changes. If you guessed that it was the Democrats, go to the head of the class. Bernie Sanders says states should allow felons to vote from behind bars. Elizabeth Warren doesn't go that far but believes felons should have the right to vote. Democrats want the criminal class to have voting rights restored because they could become a significant part of the Democratic base.
Darwin’s Magic Evolutionary Ideology
- By Mike Scruggs
Intelligent Design versus Humanist Dogma
Intelligent Design theory infers the existence of an intelligent designer of creation based on evidence. This evidence comes from intricate study of microbiology and other sciences, probability theory, and simple logic. By that deductive process it supports theism and questions the claims of Darwinism. Intelligent Design lends scientific and intellectual support to theistic religious faiths, including Christianity and Judaism, and makes many of the claims of Darwinian evolution look highly improbable and silly.
