Trump & Supreme Court Stop Homos from Serving in the Military.
- By James Aldridge
The Daily Caller reports, “The Supreme Court announced Tuesday that it will allow President Donald Trump to temporarily enforce restrictions on transgender individuals serving in the military.”
Every liberal justice on the court opposed the measure.
But in a narrow 5-4 ruling, Justice Kavanaugh proved to be the tie breaking vote to overturn President Obama’s previous ruling regarding transgenders in the military.

How S.C. Lawmakers Try to Intimidate Citizens and Groups They Don’t Like
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
For years, S.C. lawmakers have repeatedly tried through legislation and other means to intimidate citizens who run for legislative seats, raise ethical questions about legislators’ official or campaign activities, or criticize their positions on issues.
And lawmakers show no signs of letting up – at least not in this legislative session.
The FDA's Assault on Tobacco Consumers
- By Sheldon Richman
Early one morning last December, Jeff Gracik was heading to his Southern California home's garage-workshop, where he makes his living, when he heard a loud, hurried knock on his front door. Thinking it might be a rushed UPS driver, he quickly opened the door. But it wasn't UPS. Standing on his doorstep were three badge-flashing inspectors from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. They had come to inspect Jeff's business.
Just what is Jeff's business? Does he produce food? No. Does he produce drugs? No again. So why the unannounced visit by FDA inspectors?

New York's New Abortion Law is More Barbaric than China
- By Christian Newswire
OPINION -- The following is submitted by Reggie Littlejohn, Founder and President of Women's Rights Without Frontiers:
When I testified before Congress the first time in November 2009, I presented a shocking document I titled, "Best Practices - Infanticide." It is an email chain from April 2009 discussing the topic, "What if the infant is still alive after induced labor?" It was downloaded from the official Chinese website for obstetricians and gynecologists. At the time, "Best Practices - Infanticide" constituted a compelling testimony against the brutal enforcement of China's One Child Policy.

Has Trump Found the Formula for 2020?
- By Pat Buchanan
If the pollsters at CNN and CBS are correct, Donald Trump may have found the formula for winning a second term in 2020.
His State of the Union address, say the two networks, met with the approval of 76 percent of all viewers -- 97 percent of Republicans, 82 percent of independents and 30 percent of Democrats. Seventy-two percent agreed with the president's plans for securing the border with Mexico.
Grand Canyon University's Disgraceful Cancellation
- By David Limbaugh
It's disturbing that Grand Canyon University canceled a speaking event on its campus by Ben Shapiro arranged by the student organization Young Americans for Freedom. Under criticism, the university folded.
An outspoken and hard-hitting conservative, Shapiro has been protested and threatened, as well as disinvited by other schools, but it is troubling that a Christian school, especially one that holds itself out as a Bible-believing institution, caved to leftist thought-police bullies rather than promote the free exchange of ideas in the public square.
The Green Raw Deal
- By Erick Erickson - The Resurgent
Democrats in the House of Representatives have rolled out what they are calling a “Green New Deal.” It is the most serious public policy offering from Generation Tide Pod Eater to ever be unveiled. It is exactly what you would expect.
In the rollout of their deal, the Democrats released an outline that summarized their legislation. It included such gems as “When JFK said we’d go to the by the end of the decade, people said impossible.” You might think I left out the word “moon” and a few other choice words. You would be wrong. The Democrats left those out. There is also this one: “we aren’t sure that we’ll be able to fully get rid of farting cows.”

Lawmakers Reintroduce Data Warehouse
- By SC Policy Council
The invasive data warehouse proposed last year as a budget proviso and vetoed by the governor has returned, this time as a bill. This bill (H.3757) would create a massive data collecting system that tracks children from preschool through the workforce (and possibly beyond). Despite several tweaks and an attempt at privacy protections, this version is nearly identical to the one proposed last year. Here’s what that means for citizens.

Hispanic Pastors Support POTUS
- By Christian Newswire
TERRELL, N.C. -- Recently, there was a meeting on the southern border of Texas in the Rio Grand Valley between President Trump, border officials, senators and leading Hispanic Pastors.
This meeting clearly showed that Christians should not only be aware of what is happening on our southern border, but should aggressively be praying for a divine intervention in this situation.

Demonizing White Men
- By Walter Williams
Rush Limbaugh's December 2018 Limbaugh Letter has an article titled "Demonizing White Men." It highlights -- with actual quotations from people in the media, academia and the political and entertainment arenas -- the attack on white men as a class. You can decide whether these statements are decent, moral or even sensible. Should we support their visions?
Abortion and the Right to Stay Alive
- By Judge Andrew Napolitano
Much has been made lately of language in a recently enacted New York state statute that permits abortion up to the time of birth if necessary to preserve the life or health of the mother. New Jersey has had the same provision for two generations via a regulation of the Board of Medical Examiners.
Sadly, when New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed the new legislation into law two weeks ago, he did so in a joyful and celebratory atmosphere. What moral person could find joy in this?
Gov. Northam as Poster Boy for Abortion
- By John & Andy Schlafly
The scandal of Virginia’s Democratic Governor Ralph Northam has peeled back the curtain on a little-known corner of the abortion industry. What happens when the infant survives an abortion to be born alive?
You’ve heard about late-term abortion, which occurs when the infant is far enough along to survive outside the womb with proper medical care. You’ve heard about partial-birth abortion, where the infant is partially delivered feet first before being killed with a sharp jab to the base of his skull.

Malpass has served as Treasury’s Under Secretary for International Affairs since September 2017 and came to the administration with conservative credentials.
President Trump’s Best Speech Ever
- By Erick Erickson - The Resurgent
According to a CBS News poll of President Trump’s State of the Union address, 76% of Americans liked his speech and 72% agreed with him on the immigration portion of his speech.
While there were moments the President’s speech fell flat, e.g. the partisan investigations line, and there were some awkward transitions like saying all children are born in the image of God let’s strengthen NATO (my absence of punctuation is intentional), the President really did a great job of delivering an uplifting speech. It was made more so by his careful use of guests to tell stories.
Senators Continue Tradition of Keeping Magistrates on Short Leashes
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
In South Carolina, state senators largely control the selection of more than 300 county magistrates, who handle thousands of relatively minor criminal and civil cases annually.
That power is amplified when magistrates finish their terms without being reappointed, a period known as “holdover” status in which they can serve indefinitely – and potentially feel more pressure to please their local senators.
It's Time for Ingrates to Go
- By Michelle Malkin
Crying "hate" is a lazy way to debate. But in the Beltway, where honest discussion and vigorous deliberation are desperately needed, the rhetorical sloth is so thick you need a Big Foot circular saw to cut it.
Take Minnesota Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar, who thrust a Liberian immigrant, Linda Clark, into the limelight as her State of the Union special guest and poster child. "She has lived here over 18 years," Rep. Omar lamented, "and there's no reason she should be taken from her family." Ahead of the annual address to Congress on Tuesday, Rep. Omar blasted President Donald Trump for "threatening to deport" Clark and "thousands of Liberians for no reason other than hate."
