Dems Have Now Officially Rejected President John F. Kennedy's Legacy
- By Stephen Moore
There's a political cartoon going around that shows John F. Kennedy and Robert F. Kennedy sitting on a couch watching a speech by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. The two hold their palms to their heads and moan that their legacy is being twisted and ruined.
This has the situation completely backward. It isn't RFK Jr. who is rejecting the Kennedy brothers' legacy, but President Joe Biden and the modern-day Democrats.
It's been said many times -- and it happens to be true -- that if JFK were alive today and he were espousing the ideas of his 1,000-day presidency, he would be a Republican. JFK was a staunch Cold War anti-communist/socialist. He espoused lower tax rates, was pro-life, served our country in uniform valiantly, was patriotic, was a hawk on protecting First Amendment civil liberties, and he and his brother, who served as attorney general, took on union and government corruption.
A Thanksgiving Lesson From Grateful and Prepared American Families
- By Veronique de Rugy
Most Americans meticulously plan their Thanksgiving meals and travel, sometimes budgeting months in advance to celebrate at a reasonable price tag. This prudent embodiment of both gratitude and restraint starkly contrasts with the approach of our politicians. It's an inconsistency that, especially this season, merits reflection.
The national debt, much like our Thanksgiving appetites, has swelled to gargantuan proportions. Budget gluttony practically defies the laws of fiscal gravity. In 2023, we reached a record $33 trillion in national debt and a $1.7 trillion deficit. Politicians have opted for the equivalent of year-round sumptuous feasts while ignoring the costs.
Setting the Agenda for Freedom's Comeback
- By Tom DeWeese - American Policy Center
For more than 100 years the free market economy of the United States has been used to prop up the failures of socialism throughout the world. Over-taxed Americans have been forced to pay for it through foreign aid schemes and leftist pretend charity cartels. Armed with plundered American capital, global looters have had free rein to pillage some of the naturally richest nations in the world, now destroyed by socialism. Yet, all the while the socialists were gleefully accepting the cash to finance their failures, Americans were derided for being so rich. Now, many see America as the last source of funds for the plunder. When the lights go out in America’s once shining abundance of freedom and riches, what will these locusts have left but darkness?
Classic Letter to the Editor
- By Winston McCuen - South Carolina
[The letter to the editor below originally appeared in the Spartanburg (S.C.) Herald in the summer of 2020 in response to Antifa and BLM riots -- following the death of George Floyd by fentanyl overdose -- that culminated in the removal of the Calhoun Monument from Marion Square in Charleston, S.C.]
MARXIST MOBS PROVE CALHOUN RIGHT
Truth is not determined by majority vote or ignorant feeling or the media or angry mobs or cloistered professors or weak and corrupt politicians or the rich and powerful --- or by military victory. God determines truth, and is Truth. And following God, John C. Calhoun taught that liberty is how God rewards goodness and intelligence; and that slavery is how He justly punishes ignorance, sloth and depravity. Following Calhoun, the Southern Confederacy was right on EVERY issue, including the right of secession and slavery.
What is the Evolutionist Perspective on Supernatural Phenomenon?
- By Charles Creager, Jr.
The key to understanding the evolutionist perspective on the supernatural is the fact that the entire idea behind universal common descent evolution and its related theories is the entirely atheistic and naturalistic notion that supernatural phenomenon does not exist. It includes the idea that the supernatural is just something ignorant people call stuff not yet explained by science. The idea is that everything eventually can be explained by science. It also includes a totally atheistic naturalistic perspective on science, which excludes anything but completely naturalistic explanations.
Join In Prayer with Greenville Sheriff Hobart Lewis and NGU's Dr. Tony Beam
- By Joe Dill - GCRP 1st Vice Chairman
This Saturday, November 25th, 2023 at 11 a.m.
Christian Assembly
2416 Wade Hampton Blvd
Greenville, SC 29615
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
~ 2 Chron. 7:14 ~
Let’s come together and pray for the unity and healing within our county, state and nation. Let us ask for guidance and wisdom in matters of decision-making and policy formation. We pray for hope and resilience during challenging times. We long for unresolved strength in our commitment to live by the moral values and our Christian faith that our founding fathers and God the Father has established in the forming of this great union.
Greenville County Sheriff Hobart Lewis Endorses Adam Morgan
- By Press Release
"When South Carolina needed a fighter in Columbia, Adam stood up."
Greenville County Sheriff Hobart Lewis announced his endorsement for current SC Representative Adam Morgan as the next US Representative of the 4th Congressional District in Upstate SC.
Sheriff Lewis has been a Constitutional Sheriff since the day he was elected. He has worked tirelessly for the men and women at the Sheriff’s Office and for our community to ensure we live in the safest community in South Carolina!
Sheriff Lewis said in regards to Morgan:
“In the past three years since I was elected your sheriff, I have seen a lot. Businesses burned down in the name of justice, jobs lost in the name of safety, and a Congress that was meant to be for the people is now for the special interests and the lobbyists.
Issues You Can Talk About at Thanksgiving
- By Eagle Forum
Many of us avoid talking politics around the Thanksgiving table. When family members have different political opinions, some of the most controversial topics that we are dealing with daily may need to be put aside for a peaceful meal. Even though it seems like our nation’s politics are becoming increasingly divisive, there are still a few subjects that have bipartisan consensus and may result in interesting discussions while passing the mashed potatoes.
Daylight Saving Time
Nothing will cause a larger collective moan from your family members than bringing up the issue of daylight savings time. Moms know how brutal the transition to an hour later or earlier can be on your kids’ schedules and attitudes. Whether driving home from work, school, or extracurricular activities, all of us are experiencing darker-than-usual commutes.
Christian Organization Calls for Solidarity with Israel Through National Candle Lighting
- By Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry (FOI)
BELLMAWR, N.J. -- In light of the recent violence against Israel and increasing antisemitism across the United States, The Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry (FOI) is calling on Christians nationwide to show their support for Israel and the Jewish people. The ministry is requesting that Christians light a candle in their window at sundown on the first night of Hanukkah, December 7 and keep it lit through sundown on December 15, to honor the Jewish community and to stand in solidarity with Israel during this time of crisis.
BJU Named Best Overall Delegation at South Carolina Student Legislature
- By Courtney Montgomery - BJU
The Bob Jones University delegation to the South Carolina Student Legislature (SCSL) was awarded the Palmetto Award for best overall delegation. The fall session was held Wednesday, Nov. 15, through Friday, Nov. 17 at the South Carolina State House in Columbia.
Preparation for SCSL helps students learn the intricacies of representative government and provides an opportunity for them to hone their skills by debating their peers on a host of issues. Founded in 1956 by Dr. Doug Carlisle, the organization is run entirely by students. Former participants include current South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster.
Climate Justice, Nonsense on Steroids
- By Kathleen Marquardt - American Policy Center
According to the Center for Climate Justice (CCJ), Climate Justice is the remedy for the faux fact that there is a “disproportionate impact of climate change on low-income communities of color around the world, the people and places least responsible for the problem”.
Yep, the climate is different for different people – even if they live in proximity. The rich, and even the middle class, have decent to great weather, while the poor are inflicted by smog and other man-made evils. Basically, smog is the only man-made evil mentioned on the CCJ site, so the other climate problems – hurricanes, drought, and floods – that are impacting those communities that are the targets of CCJ’s benevolence are the focus of Climate Justice. Smog is being reduced all the time through scientific inventions. My question is, how do hurricanes, drought, and floods disproportionately impact “low-income and BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) communities around the world, the people and places least responsible for the problem”?
Ronna McDaniel Is Doing Her Job
- By Star Parker
Moderator Lester Holt kicked off the last Republican debate by asking Vivek Ramaswamy, "Why should you be the nominee and not the former president?"
Ramaswamy ignored the question and chose instead to attack Republican National Committee Chairperson Ronna McDaniel, calling for her resignation, calling his party "a party of losers" and placing the responsibility for this accusation on her shoulders.
McDaniel may hold a high-ranking position in the structure of her party; she is chairperson.
Target Pushes ahead with Woke Holiday Merch Despite Financial Losses
- By Sarah Holliday - The Washington Stand
Target’s second quarter earnings report proved the company still hasn’t rebounded from its Pride fallout this summer, showing a 5.4% decrease in sales — the first drop in roughly six years. The company’s third quarter report was no better, revealing an additional 4.9% drop. Thanks to Target’s partnership with a satanist designer and its highly controversial Pride line — which pushed transgender extremism on an audience largely of children — the backlash continues to hurt the stores’ bottom line.
Brian Cornell, Target’s CEO, reflected on the reports and admitted sales “have clearly been tougher than we expected this year, and we are firmly focused on getting back to growth.” While Cornell confessed the company has struggled, one would expect the mega-retailer to learn from its mistakes, readjust to what their clientele wants, and get back to selling products, not politics.
The Israeli-Palestinian Conflict
- By Mike Scruggs
The Formidable Shadow of Jihadist Ideology
In a surprise attack on October 7, a Hamas terrorist force of about 2,500 brutally murdered 1,200 Jewish civilians, including entire families with their children, even babies. Another 240 were taken hostage, including children and the elderly. Many victims were tortured, and many of the women were raped. Yet a Birzeit University survey of 668 West Bank and Gaza Palestinians indicated that 68 percent strongly supported these acts and another 16 percent supported them to some extent, yielding a total of 84 percent who strongly or somewhat approved. Birzeit is a major University of 14,000 students in the Palestinian West Bank.
Who Were The First Socialists in America?
- By W.H. Lamb
The Pilgrims Were!
THE “FIRST THANKSGIVING” MAY NOT HAVE BEEN THE FIRST “THANKSGIVING”!
It’s sad that so much of truthful American history is being, or has already been, forgotten, consigned to Big Brother’s “memory hole” of left wing political correctness or “woke” insanity that infests what passes for public “education” in the U.S. A case in point is the story of what for a long time has been considered as the “First Thanksgiving”---the one we’ve always heard about—the one that took place in Plymouth, Massachusetts, not the mostly unknown but probable true “firstThanksgiving” in America that took place in Jamestown, Virginia soon after those settlers arrived around 1608 (of course, the folks in St. Augustine, Florida claim that they celebrated the “first Thanksgiving” service sometime around 1565, long before the Jamestown settlers---but that’s a story for another time).
Outlaw Subversive UN Agenda 2030 Schemes
- By The John Birch Society
Agenda 2030 is a major threat to liberty and is being implemented across the country — maybe even in your town or county. Contact your state legislators and urge them to enact strong legislation banning all governmental involvement in Agenda 2030 or “sustainable development” schemes.
Agenda 2030, officially titled “the 2030 Agenda,” is a United Nations program based on the UN Local Agenda 21 program unveiled in 1992 and the UN Millennium Development Goals released in 2000. Under the guise of “sustainable development,” this plan seeks totalitarian control and regimentation of the entire planet, including the economy, our country, our lives, and our children. Agenda 2030 is divided into 17 Sustainable Development Goals, or SDGs, along with 169 specific “targets” to be imposed on humanity.

Will New York Politicians Tax Wall Street Out of Existence?
- By Stephen Moore
Let's face it. Anyone who works in, or just visits, the Wall Street area of Manhattan can't deny the aura of power and money isn't what it was 20, 30 or 50 years ago.
The vibrancy, the financial dominance, the gusto seems to have gone missing -- so have many of the Gordon Gekko high rollers. Today, Wall Street is less crowded. It's sleepier. There aren't exactly tumbleweeds blowing down Broad Street past the New York Stock Exchange, but it's not the bustling place where the financial titans and the world's money changers hang out anymore.
Conservatives Hope for Thanksgiving Dinner Table Peace Over Trump Divide
- By Christian Newswire
SANTA ROSA, Calif. -- Celebrating Thanksgiving dinner in politically divided families often proves challenging. Holiday warmth often becomes heated divide over politics, with America not so split since perhaps the Civil War. Sadly, the disagreement over Donald Trump runs right down many family dinner tables.
But the difficulty in reaching common ground has not prevented one creative author from trying. Writing a snuggly and adorable yet smart book about Trump to build bridges was exactly his ambitious goal. Daniel Ben Abraham, the author of “Explaining Trump to Children and the Left,” admits the book with the “cute and snarky title” sought to accomplish the near-impossible, and bridge this painful gap in American viewpoints.
Electric bus maker required to do less for taxpayer-backed incentives
- By Rick Brundrett - The Nerve
When Proterra announced in February 2010 that it was locating a hybrid- and electric-bus assembly plant in Greenville, the then-CEO said the company selected South Carolina over some 30 states because of the “numerous benefits in terms of workforce capabilities and research and development support.”
Former CEO Jeff Granato didn’t mention any taxpayer-backed incentives offered to the company, based then in Colorado. The S.C. Department of Commerce in a press release at the time said two state grants totaling $3 million were awarded to the company – dubbed “Project Magic Carpet” – but didn’t provide specifics on any other offered incentives.
Two months later, The Nerve revealed that Proterra could receive up to $40 million in grants, corporate income tax and job development credits, low-interest bonds and forgivable loans within 10 years.

Thanksgiving 2023 Reflections
- By Alveda King
"Thank God for what we have left." -- Rev. Martin Luther King, Sr.
For many people, the Thanksgiving season is a time for expressing gratitude to God for our many blessings. I have been spending time this season reflecting on how grateful I am to have been raised by my parents, Rev. A.D. King and Dr. Naomi King. My father’s legacy lives on in his powerful sermons, and writings, and in the work and lives of his children.
While my mother Naomi, also known by her fans as "the Butterfly Queen," is 92, years old now, she continues to advocate globally for peace and justice. I recently traveled to Amsterdam as her stand-in as she was slated to share her long-earned wisdom with the world. Lest we forget, the generational Bible based truths must be taught to every generation, every decade, and on every platform. And please remember, "When peripherals collide, convergence is imminent."
Get Ready for Giving Tuesday 2023!
- By Just Say Something
The holidays are approaching quickly. Can you believe Thanksgiving is next week? I think most of us are ready for a couple of days to slow down, spend time with others, and rest.
Coming up after Thanksgiving is Giving Tuesday on Tuesday, November 28th. This is a day that encourages people to give back in whatever ways they can.
This year, our campaign is "Together, Give, Grow." Together, as we give to Just Say Something, we allow the organization to Grow.
Paivi Rasanen Acquitted Over ‘Hate Speech’ for Sharing Bible Verse
- By Ben Johnson - The Washington Stand
A Finnish parliamentarian and a Protestant church leader have been acquitted over charges of “hate speech” and violating the nation’s statute against “War Crimes and Crimes Against Humanity” by sharing Bible verses and traditional Christian teachings about sexuality.
The Court of Appeals in Finland unanimously acquitted Päivi Räsänen, a Member of Parliament in Finland with the Christian Democrats Party, as well as Lutheran Bishop Juhana Pohjola, of all charges. Räsänen faced up to two years in prison, although the prosecutor lobbied for a fine in the thousands of euros.
What is the Evolutionist Perspective on God?
- By Charles Creager, Jr.
The views of individual evolutionists on God vary, from theistic evolution to absolute atheism. However, the general evolutionist perspective is to ignore God as much as possible. The Entire point of universal common descent evolution is to explain the origin of the diversity of life along with man from entirely naturalistic and atheistic notion of abiogenesis universal common descent evolution, is to explain our origin apart from God.
House Republicans Bring Sanity Back to Health and Education
- By Eagle Forum
GOP LHHS Bill Legislates for Life
Amidst all the turmoil in Washington, D.C. in recent months, House Republicans are forging ahead with their goal of passing individual spending bills for each federal agency. For at least a decade, Congress has not done this and instead has enacted continuing resolutions that fund the government at or above previous years’ spending levels. The federal government has been saturated in unnecessary programs, leftist policies, and enormous debt by avoiding the tough choices. Thankfully, many Republicans continue to hold the line on fiscal conservatism and regular order even though the Senate’s Democrat majority has refused to vote on the appropriations bills passed by the House of Representatives.
