Shallow
- By Ben Graydon
God resides in a building made with hands. We call that place the “house of God.” There is one day of the week that He is more present there , and that is when we are supposed to go meet with Him.
We follow pagan practices that we insist are scriptural because they are called by terms that appear in our favorite versions of the Bible, never taking the time to do deeper studies of the original text in the original languages or the full context of the passage in question or the actual historical record to come to understand just what was intended by the writers of scripture and what historically changed that intent, and for what purpose.
Banned Islam Movie on Muhammad: 'Blacked Out' by Facebook, Google, and Yahoo

"This movie will get out, and it will impact the world for righteousness and justice." -- Randall Terry
WASHINGTON -- Facebook, Google, and Yahoo have made a concerted effort to erase the highly acclaimed and controversial new documentary, Muhammad in His Own Words: The Founder of Islam Speaks.

Congress is Funding Planned Parenthood and Not Funding the Wall
- By Tabitha Walter - Eagle Forum
The House came back into session this week after a long five-week break. The first thing on their agenda is to fund the government before the September 30 deadline. Since they have already passed 7 of the 12 bills needed to do so, and the Senate has passed 9 of the 12 bills, you would think that this would be a task they could accomplish. However, House leadership has decided to punt their responsibilities until after the November elections.
Regime Change -- American Style
- By Pat Buchanan
The campaign to overturn the 2016 election and bring down President Trump shifted into high gear this week.
Inspiration came Saturday morning from the altar of the National Cathedral where our establishment came to pay homage to John McCain.
Gathered there were all the presidents from 1993 to 2017, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama, Vice Presidents Al Gore and Dick Cheney, Secretaries of State Hillary Clinton, John Kerry and Henry Kissinger, the leaders of both houses of Congress, and too many generals and admirals to list.
Mr. Anonymous Exposes an Even Deeper State
- By David Limbaugh
If Democrats and resistance Republicans think they are going to depose President Trump or thwart his presidency by endlessly savaging him in the name of protecting the republic, they don't have any concept of the fierce resolve of his supporters.
The latest salvo in the resistance's efforts to nullify the will of the American electorate is an anonymous New York Times op-ed purportedly penned by a "senior official" in the Trump administration. This pretend super-patriot declares that Trump faces "a test to his presidency unlike any faced by a modern American leader. ... The dilemma -- which he does not fully grasp -- is that many of the senior officials in his own administration are working diligently from within to frustrate parts of his agenda and his worst inclinations. I would know. I am one of them."
The Beloved Senator John McCain – NOT!
- By John Utz - Greenville, SC
"The beloved Senator John McCain" ...So stated Neil Cavuto of the Deep State FoxNews on an early broadcast shortly after McCain's death. Cavuto also referred to (2nd) wife Cindy as a 'school teacher,' corrected soon thereafter to 'heiress' (of a Budweiser Arizona franchise!). Listeners, aware of the scandalous and unprincipled activities of McCain, persumably forced the correction.
Foundation for Moral Law Sends Memorandum to Schools on Prayer at Football Games
- By Christian Newswire
MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- Prayer at public school football games, including over the school loudspeaker, does not violate the Constitution if it is a student message and not the school's, according to the Foundation for Moral Law which last Friday sent a memorandum on the subject to all Alabama school superintendents.
The Memorandum on Student Religious Speech at Athletic Events countered letters sent by the Wisconsin-based Freedom From Religion Foundation ("FFRF") to several Alabama public schools claiming that prayer at school athletic events is unconstitutional and demanding that schools immediately stop the practice.
The Last Column
- By David Thompson
This will be my last column at the Greenville Times Examiner. It has been a privilege to be able to express myself in this publication for the last four and a half years. I want to thank Colonel Bob Dill for allowing me to be part of his enterprise. I also thank those who have helped in producing the paper over my time here, and those who read my columns…thank you. It was my hope to be always interesting, sometimes humorous, and to demonstrate Col. Dill and my shared devotion to the First Amendment…I trust that goal was achieved.
California versus Trump on Phony Net Neutrality
- By John & Andy Schlafly
As part of its never-ending resistance to the Trump agenda, the California legislature has just passed a bill to reinstate the discredited concept of “net neutrality” for access to the internet. A bill described as the nation’s strongest form of net neutrality awaits the signature of lame duck Governor Jerry Brown.
Net neutrality is as phony as “free trade,” in that both are wonderful only for those getting the better end of the deal. Google, Facebook, and other California companies have been getting a free ride on net neutrality because it enables them to avoid paying their enormous share of internet traffic.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado -- The following is submitted by Anne Paulk Executive Director and Board Member of Restored Hope Network:
California Assembly bill 2943 was recently pulled by author Evan Low while poised to pass the final vote in the assembly and headed to Governor Brown's desk. The intent of the bill was to label all life transformation out of homosexuality fraudulent. We are tremendously grateful to Mr. Low for listening to faith leaders throughout the state and pulling the bill.
Expanded and Improved Medicare for All: Beware of Greeks Bearing Broccoli
- By Marilyn M. Singleton
During the Supreme Court oral arguments in the challenge to the Affordable Care Act’s mandate to purchase health insurance, people laughed when the late Justice Scalia asked whether the government could make you buy broccoli. Never happen? The laughable has become reality. A California bill awaiting the governor’s signature forbids restaurants from serving any beverage other than water or unflavored milk with kiddie meals. As of yet, the meal’s purchasers, unlike the restaurant, won’t be fined for ordering another beverage for their child.
Exceptional People I Have Known
- By Bob Dill, Publisher
As I watched portions of the five-day funeral of Senator John McCain, it reminded me of the exceptional characters I have known. One Army officer would make McCain look like an amateur prankster. He was a US Military Academy Graduate and a Lieutenant Colonel when I served in his organization in Bremerhaven, Germany in 1957-58.
Ltd. Fred Smaltz was a combat veteran who participated in the Normandy Invasion of WW II. Smaltz was a striking figure, well over 6- feet tall, shaved head and an unruly mustache. His wife Gail was a tall, red headed nurse.
Yes – There Are Fascists Living Among Us!
- By W.H. Lamb
We’ve all heard the word, “fascist,” quite a lot lately. Every so-called “main stream media” outlet is proclaiming that fascists are evil racists (they are both), noxious “right wing extremists” (nope) who are in league with President Trump (not true) and his “bad, bad, bad” conservative/populist allies in the ranks of “The Basket of Deplorables,” as Comrade Hillary Clinton labeled them. (A few months ago, no less an authority than Rush Limbaugh said that Hillary was a COMMUNIST, so I’m just using her appropriate title).

Escape Room Escapade
- By Washington Center
A darkened room. Sputtering engines. An electronic voice repeating a warning message as the computer screen fractures into hundreds of tiny unidentifiable images. Although not part of the typical back-to-school experience, students in Ms. Benton’s class at Washington Center found themselves in such a position as they worked to solve puzzles during a Labor Day escape room activity.
Metaphor in a Government-Founded Church
- By Judge Andrew Napolitano
Last week, I was intrigued by all the fanfare attendant upon the national farewell to the late Sen. John McCain. I have written in this space that McCain and I were friends who spoke many times, but generally only about the issues upon which we agreed -- abortion, immigration and torture.
On those issues, he often stood at odds with most of his Republican colleagues in the Senate. They are opposed to abortion in name only (they will not lift a finger to stop or slow it), prefer judging the moral worth of individuals on the basis of where they were born, and think that torture is wrong unless the victim is a bad guy or a foreigner or has information the government wants.

Death Be Not Loud
- By Michelle Malkin
Question: What is more cringe-inducing than a celebrity funeral?
Answer: Two back-to-back celebrity funerals.
The ghoulish twin spectacles last week memorializing Aretha Franklin and John McCain brought out the worst in family, friends and frenemies. No matter your partisan affiliation, these vulgar exercises in self-indulgence should serve as object lessons on how not to depart with dignity.

- By Press Release
PAUL HENNICKEN, DC & PATRICIA ROWE DC

TAYLORS SC 29687
TEL: 864-292-1961
On Thusday, Septemeber 13, 2018, she will be performing screening breast thermograms and appointments are available.
Breast Thermography is a noninvasive, inexpensive test that does not involve breast compression or radiation exposure. While it does not replace mammograms, thermography is FDA-approved since 1982 as an adjunctive tool for breast health screening. It measures infrared heat from the tissues, using technology like color weather maps; increased heat can be a signal of new blood vessel growth feeding a tumor. Thermography can enhance early detection of most fast-growing breast cancers, and is especially useful for women with dense breasts or premenopausal.
The initial Breast Thermogram takes about 15 minutes, please call for pricing. Results are interpreted by Board-Certified Medical Doctor, and mailed to the client within 10 days. A copy of the interpretation can go to your physician of choice.
Please call 864-292-1961 to make an appointment.
Balance Sheet of the Forever War
- By Pat Buchanan
"It is time for this war in Afghanistan to end," said Gen. John Nicholson in Kabul on his retirement Sunday after a fourth tour of duty and 31 months as commander of U.S. and NATO forces.
Labor Day brought news that another U.S. serviceman had been killed in an insider attack by an Afghan soldier.
Why do we continue to fight in Afghanistan?

Will Sweden Continue to Be Sweden?
- By Mike Scruggs
The Most Important Election in Europe
On Sunday, September 9, Swedish voters have a chance to save their country from the astonishing social and fiscal decline wrought by ideological blindness to the nature of Islam and the inherent cultural and political dangers of massive third-world migration.
In the last two decades, and especially the last five years, Sweden has moved from a relatively homogeneous but tolerant society, famous for the law-abiding nature of its people, to one of the sex-assault and crime capitals of Europe with terrorist grenades, auto-burnings, and other street crimes becoming a normalized aspect of Swedish life. As the migrant population has increased, crime and vagrancy have increased. Women and girls fear to leave their homes at night. There are 61 areas of Sweden where emergency vehicles and even the police are in danger. Moreover, unless the mass immigration wave comes to a halt soon, native Swedes will be a minority in their own country within 20 years.
Take A Knee ...
- By Ted Nugent
Take a little trip to Valley Forge in January. Hold a musket ball in your Fingers and imagine it piercing your flesh and breaking a bone or two. There won't be a doctor or trainer to assist you until after the battle, so Just wait your turn. Take your cleats and socks off to get a real Experience.
Then, take a knee on the beach in Normandy where man after American man Stormed the beach, even as the one in front of him was shot to pieces, the Very sea stained with American blood. The only blockers most had were the Dead bodies in front of them, riddled with bullets from enemy fire.
Senate Fails to Stop $500 million to Planned Parenthood
- By Eagle Forum
As the Senate has been working through August recess, a top priority has been crafting a spending package. Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) saw this as a perfect opportunity to defend the lives of the unborn. Last Thursday, he introduced an amendment that would specifically defund Planned Parenthood which received over $500 million of taxpayer money in 2017 alone from the federal government. The amendment would have streamlined that funding toward women’s health centers that do not offer abortion services.

Angela Stanton and I just returned from speaking at a prison ministry service in Mississippi to about 200 men. Almost every man in the room was a father, grandfather and some were great-grandfathers. It was such a blessing to be able to bring hope to the lives of those that in a place that presumably doesn't often offer much hope.
