Negotiating the End and Terms of the Ukraine War
- Details
- By Mike Scruggs
Background for Factual, Historical, and Demographic Analysis
Western mass media propaganda creates the impression that Ukraine is a virtuous democratic country united against an “unprovoked invasion” by Russia on February 24, 2022. There are two major factors that caused Russia’s Special Military Action that might more rightly be called an intervention rather than an unprovoked invasion. First of all, in 2008 at the Bucharest NATO Summit, George W. Bush, probably heavily influenced by Dick Chaney, Bush’s Vice President from 2001 to 2009, pushed NATO to make Ukraine and Georgia members. This was all part of an intrigue and “Great Game,” started by the British and including the Crimean War of 1853, to block Russia from access to the Black Sea. At the NATO Summit in 2008, Bush got some pushback from Germany and France, but nevertheless pushed through a NATO resolution to make Ukraine and Georgia members of NATO. At the time, Ukraine was constitutionally neutral and a majority of Ukrainians had no interest in NATO or the European Union. A large part of their trade was with Russia.
Thank God For The “Gray-Haired Brigade”

We’ve all heard that sage observation that “getting old isn’t for thefaint of heart, or for wimps”. At the age of 88, I can verify the truth of that wisdom, as the “aches and pains” of the years constantly do battle with me. Each week I seem to discover new joints that I never knew I had, and getting “started” in the morning is becoming a painful challenge. Developing sufficient “torque” to get moving is much more difficult than it was decades ago. Younger folks sometimes question the abilities of “experienced” seniors, but are themselves often in a mental fog when we relate historical events that are perfectly clear to us, even though they may have occurred decades previously. (True history is a “foreign concept” to many of our younger citizens, sadly, thanks to those deliberately incompetent “Institutions of Induced Ignorance” (i.e. government schools) that most of them attended.)
Why All Support to Ukraine Must Stop

A Ukraine in the Russian orbit that could pose a death knell to Europe. Russian tanks rumbling through the streets of Warsaw on their way to Berlin—and then other capitals. A world held hostage by Russian hegemony.
These are only a few of the absurdities pressed upon a watching American public as the lame duck president Joe Biden rushes to send military hardware and financial help to Zelensky’s Ukraine before the new administration may suspend it.
And why so?
Wings Reborn: The Unexpected Return of Flight in Insects
- Details
- By Charles Creager, Jr.
The reappearance of wings in insects can refer to the development of wing structures or the expression of the genes associated with them after being dormant or mutated. They are commonly referred to as atavisms and considered by evolutionists to be evidence of universal common descent. However, they represent degeneration as opposed to the creation of something new needed by universal common descent evolution.
The High Costs of Ignoring God

Government and Every Human Sphere of Influence Are Accountable to God
The American people have been bamboozled for more than two generations now into believing that their government can safely ignore God and his moral standards. The underlying presumption of this folly is that the God of the Bible is irrelevant—that there is not really a God at all, or if there is a God, that He is either too impotent or too distant to be concerned with the affairs of men. This humanist philosophy presumes that the wisdom of man is the standard of all things. There is no fear of a God who is all-powerful, all-wise, sovereign over all of nature and the affairs of men, and who is himself the one and absolute standard of truth, good and right.
Happy Christmas – Yes! Happy Holidays – No!

A “happy Christmas wish?” What happened to that good old “Merry Christmas” that people wished for each other? Back in the halcyon days of our cultural innocence and our “racial/gender/transgender/non-mulicultural/age/class/political/religious/ educational insensitivities”, Americans thought nothing of wishing their friends and family—even perfect strangers-- a “Merry Christmas”. I still do so, and I refuse to capitulate to the smarmy progressive “moon bats” and their brain damaged, guano-producing flock in our midst who consider me to be hopelessly old fashioned, culturally elitist, set in my ways, and unwilling to change. To those accusations I proudly andwithout apology plead “guilty”. Period—end of discussion! (But not the end of the article!)
What was the star of Bethlehem?
- Details
- By Charles Creager, Jr.
The star of Bethlehem is a well-known part of the Christmas story. It only appears in the Gospel of Matthew, and it seems to have intrigued people more than even the virgin birth itself. It has also caused more speculation about possible naturalistic explanations than probably any other part of the Bible. Particularly as Christmas approaches it is a topic that people actually become interested in.
There have been many attempts at finding naturalistic explanations for the Star of Bethlehem. However, every single one of them does not explain one or more aspects of what is actually described in the Bible. Consequently, if you are looking for a naturalistic explanation you will not really find one.
