Texit Will Follow Brexit
- By Winston McCuen - Ware Shoals, SC
Great Britain has seceded from the European Union and the world is different now. The British people have voted for freedom, independence and national identity. Tax-paying Brits have thrown off the yoke of Third-World tax consumers. By using secession to free their country from socialistic tyranny, the Brits have reversed the world-wide trend toward globalism and political centralization.

Louisiana Re-brands Common Core in Attempt to Dupe Citizens
- By Alex Newman
State officials in Louisiana tried to deceive citizens last week by approving what amounts to, essentially, a glorified name change for the deeply unpopular Common Core education standards pushed by the Obama administration. Basically, policymakers rebranded the scheme as “Louisiana Standards,” while pretending that there had been some “revisions” to the widely loathed education-nationalization effort. However, according to experts and activists involved in the process, the politically toxic national education standards imposed on state governments with federal funding and pressure remain almost entirely intact in Louisiana, despite the new name. Similar scams by government officials have taken place in states across the country.
Trump Anounced Plan to Reform VA
- By Bob Dill, Publisher
Trump Will Ensure that Every Veteran has the Choice to Seek Care at the VA or at a Private Service Provider of Their Own Choice.
On Monday July 11, Donald Trump announced his plan to reform the Department of Veteran Affairs.
Trump said we need to protect those who have served and protected us. “Veterans should come first in the country they fought to protect, and under the Trump Administration they will. We are going to fight for our military the way they have fought for us.”
Trump announced a ten-point plan to reform the Department of Veterans Affairs:
Bright Calls on Scott Talley to Condemn Supporter’s Comments
- By Christopher Sullivan
Talley-backer calls conservatives “ignorant” and “nuts”
Roebuck, SC – The Lee Bright for Senate campaign today called on Scott Talley to disavow the deeply offensive and highly inflammatory statements made by one of his main supporters, David McGraw. McCraw was caught on tape using foul language and rudely disparaging Republican conservatives who support a strict-construction of the United States and South Carolina Constitutions.
Last Wednesday, Talley formally and publicly accepted McCraw’s endorsement, and McCraw, by his own admission, met with Talley to coordinate their mutual goal of ousting leading conservative Lee Bright from the Senate.
Put the Wall in the Platform
- By Phyllis Schlafly
The promise to build a wall along America’s southern border with Mexico has carried Donald Trump to his remarkable victory in the Republican primaries for president. Now it’s time to put that promise into the official Republican Party Platform.
Many would be surprised to learn that a border security fence or wall was not already in the Republican platform. After all, President George W. Bush signed the Secure Fence Act which Congress passed in 2006 with the support of many Democrats including then-Senators Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.
Blood of Victims on their Hands
- By Bob Dill, Publisher
The Obama Administration and their fellow advocates for more gun restrictions and dangerous gun free zones, have more blood on their hands after the massive slaughter in Orlando, Florida on the eve of celebration of our independence.
On Sunday morning we were awakened to the bone chilling news that more than one-hundred celebrants in a “Gay” night club in Orlando, Florida had been mowed down by an American born Muslim armed with a rifle he had legally purchased a few days before.
The obvious terrorist attack was well planned and executed by a trained marksman who was employed by a security firm with sensitive government contracts, including security for nuclear weapons material.
Donald J. Trump Addressed Terrorism, Immigration, and National Security
- By Donald J. Trump
“I want to protect our citizens – all of our citizens.”
This was going to be a speech on Hillary Clinton and how bad a President, especially in these times of Radical Islamic Terrorism, she would be.
Even her former Secret Service Agent, who has seen her under pressure and in times of stress, has stated that she lacks the temperament and integrity to be president.
There will be plenty of opportunity to discuss these important issues at a later time, and I will deliver that speech soon.
But today there is only one thing to discuss: the growing threat of terrorism inside of our borders.
The attack on the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida, was the worst terrorist strike on our soil since September 11th, and the worst mass shooting in our country’s history.
So many people dead, so many people gravely injured, so much carnage, such a disgrace.

Diseases Cross Open Borders
- By Phyllis Schlafly
The spread of the Zika virus has become so alarming that more than 150 health experts from over a dozen countries published an open letter urging the postponement or relocation of the Summer Olympics scheduled for August 5-21 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Never before in world history have the Olympics been cancelled due to a public health crisis.
“The Brazilian strain of Zika virus harms health in ways that science has not observed before,” the scientists warned. They added that an “unnecessary risk is posed when 500,000 foreign tourists from all countries attend the Games, potentially acquire that strain, and return home to places where it can become endemic.”
Imagine that! Global health experts are sounding alarm bells against the transmission of disease from one country to another, declaring that the risk is so great that the most famous international event of all should be called off to prevent it.
Donald Trump: Against All Odds
- By Bob Dill, Publisher
On the eve of the California Primary, Donald Trump already has enough delegates to be called the presumptive Republican Presidential nominee. He is clearly the anti-establishment candidate that was unintentionally created by the establishment, or at least, his campaign was made easier by the arrogant bullying tactics of establishment Republicans and aggressive young RINOs seeking political favor with the establishment.
The situation in each state was obviously somewhat different; however, the outcome was the same. Donald Trump used the establishment plan to steam-roll and ultimately defeat the establishment and their candidates.
The Establishment party hacks’ manipulation of the South Carolina Republican Party and the Greenville County Republican Party are classic examples of how the Establishment scheme was supposed to work.
Sparks Flew During Loyalty Test
- By Bob Dill, Publisher
The Republican Executive Committee passed a resolution approving a three-part test to determine party loyalty. Candidates present at the meeting who were invited to speak were the first to be asked the test questions which were: have you ever registered as a Democrat; have you ever voted for a Democrat and have you ever donated to a Democrat (within the last 15 years). Chairman Chad Groover had just announced that vetting was a simple yes/no based on an honest policy with no policing or enforcement because of limits on time to investigate. The first candidate to speak, Stacey Kuper, County Council Candidate District 21 responded to the first question with a “no” and was immediately interupted by 1st Vice Chairman Nate Leupp who appeard to be reading from his cellphone that Kuper had indeed been registered as Democrat in the State of Florida.

GOP Resolution Condemned Gender Identity Overreach in Public Schools
- By Bob Dill, Publisher
The Greenville County Republican Party Executive Committee Insist that Governor Haley and Attorney General Alan Wilson “Fervently Reject the Redefinition of Gender in Title IX Concerning Locker Rooms and Gender Segregated Areas in South Carolina Public Schools.”
A Resolution was proposed by Executive Committeeman Anthony Gilliard representing Fox Chase Precinct at the June Committee meeting, to pressure Governor Nikki Haley and Attorney General Alan Wilson to reject the federal government overreach regarding the redefinition of Gender in Title IX concerning the locker rooms and gender segregated areas in public schools in South Carolina.
The issue of individuals deciding what gender they want to be rather than the determination at birth based on anatomy, is becoming a serious controversy stoked by the Obama Administration and accepted by elected officials of all stripes who fear engaging in politically incorrect controversy.
Failed Republicans Want to Rewrite the Constitution
- By Phyllis Schlafly
Did you ever wonder why unsuccessful candidates merely “suspend” their campaigns after losing a key primary, instead of terminating them? Surely all those candidates knew that it’s impossible to restart a presidential campaign once it’s been suspended. In the famous words of Theodore Roosevelt’s daughter Alice Longworth, “You can’t make a soufflé rise twice.”
The 2016 Republican presidential primaries yielded one “presumptive” nominee, Donald J. Trump, plus 16 candidates whose presidential campaigns were “suspended” but could remain in business for many more years. What’s the future for a “suspended” presidential campaign?
Remembering Three Soldiers on Memorial Day
- By Bob Dill, Publisher
Everyone who puts on the uniform of the Armed Forces of the United States and takes the oath to “protect and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic,” and serves honorably, sacrifices for his or her country should be honored appropriately.
On this Memorial Day, I remember three young military officers who served honorably in Vietnam and paid a price for their service.
An Army Quartermaster Corps Captain who was the S-4 Logistics officer on the staff of the Long Binh Post Commander became close friends with members of my staff. He had a wife and two small children and was on orders to return home the following week.

- By Bob Dill, Publisher
This is the True Story of What actually Happened on the Ground in Benghazi, Libya on September 11, 2012 as Told by CIA Security Officials who Defied Orders to “Stand Down,” and Risked their Lives to Save Other Americans Pleading for Help.
The movie adaptation of the book 13 Hours in Benghazi by Mitchell Zuckoff with the Annex Security Team will be released on DVD and Blu-ray Tuesday, June 7, 2013.
Three of the contract operators who responded to the September 11, 2012 attack on Benghazi, Mark “Oz” Geist, Kris “Tanto” Paronto and John “Tig” Tiegen went public and allowed their names to be used in the book and movie. Jack Silva and Dave Benton who also participated in the activities, are pseudonyms used to preserve their families’ privacy and their own. Another member of the CIA team, Tyrone “Rone” Woods died during the attack on the Annex.
Kris Paronto spoke at the Greenville County Republican Women’s Club luncheon at the Poinsett Club on 26 March of last year. On the night before the luncheon The Times Examiner hosted a dinner in his honor with the help of friends. About 50 guests attended the event and had an opportunity to interact with one of the real heroes of Benghazi.
